Quick find along the road to the dam, all in good order. The afternoon: Having to go back to Corin Resourt to pick up some items we had left behind a few weeks back, I took the opportunity to do some more caching at the end of Corin Road, that I had eyed off ever since we moved back here. We were last here with the small kids in Oct 2011 doing some caches closer to the road but leaving the walk down to the Core be. Lots of new caches at the dam since then and the old caches at the bottom still waiting. Two wonderful walks, one was an hour, 2km, to the Crown and Trig and another down to the bottom and then up to Basil for another good hour and 3km (and some higher heart rates indeed) Thank you ALL7 for putting the cache out and maintaining it and in doing so contributing to this awesome hobby of ours.
Last find for the day with Baristayan! This was the end of the line for motorists and hikers alike this afternoon, with ranger Aaron standing guard to prevent people from heading off to Square Rock. There's a bunch of aerial shooting happening in Namadgi for the next week, with pigs and the odd deer in the crosshairs.Yani made the find again here, which was a fitting end to a successful venture...sha absolutely carved up today! Thanks All7, loving this series.
Last cache todayFor a moment I thought you were referring to the log suspended above the tree! How could would that be???
This was the twentieth of the unloved caches (279 days, running total 7,929 days) that I went looking for today. Once again, the area was quite overgrown. In fact, the little/light container had been pushed from its hide by the grass growing from underneath it! I put it back in a safe location.* * * * * * *Having started the day with a breakfast event to meet local geocachers, I headed back towards Corin Dam to collect a string of unloved geocaches. I had visited Corin Dam last weekend, planning to pick up a few geocaches, but had not got the map thing happening properly. I was more diligent in making sure that I knew which dam was which this weekend! Knowing that there would be no reception, I had a list planned. This was my first big day of geocaching since relocating to Canberra from Melbourne last week. I'm looking forward to a lot more of these! Thanks for the cache, ALL7
We had planned to attempt Corrin's Core with Ilmari_the_Red, but had not checked the mountain forecast. It was raining and not the best weather. So we turned around and headed to Gibraltar Falls instead, with a few park and grabs, including this easy find. TFTC!
Dropped by on the way home from the Ororal rock lockout.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Stopped in here on the way to Square Rock for another attempt after my DNF last visit (and subsequent replacement by the CO). Alas I couldn't find it before my walk, but when I bumped into the StarsAlign dream team on the way home I convinced them to help me look yet again, and so I therefore found it quickly in the very spot I'd overlooked many times before.
For whatever reason (perhaps I am a time traveller, or more likely I can't read the date on my phone correctly) I have future-signed the log as 29 May, and did so for the remainder of my caches today. Sigh...
Thanks, ALL7.

Silvereyes and I thought we would have a look for this one, but like the cache people before us, we could not find it.
Just for the record.......cold and wet up here this morning, soaked already on first attempted cache!
This was nowhere to be found - noting it's a very high muggle area, perhaps it has gone for a walk?
Not successful in our search for this one. Road from here on is closed. Thanks ALL7
sjg66 and I have lived in the ACT region for over 30 years and have never been to Corin dam, so today was the day. Depressing to see the dam at less than 20% full, but still and nice drive and some great caches along the way.
I've already found five caches today. I'm off on a drive bymyself to soothe my soul after a fairly hectic day. It's wonderful up here today. It's reasonably late in the day, but nowhere near dusk. The light is brilliant, I enjoyed the road and the drive, and I grabbed the last 16 caches in this series. It was great fun.
Ahhh, last one. Lots of excellent hidey holes here, Find was easy. Thanks for the series, have a favorite point for the series ...
Find no 16 of 16 for this series today.

Out and about on another lovely day for a geomission to nab more ALL7 caches and a few other randoms along the roads to Tidbinbilla
All caches were quick finds apart from a couple of tricky ones and a couple of DNFs. Really enjoyed the drive and the wanders around this beautiful area!

Staying in Canberra (from Brisbane) for a week of Mega celebrations. Enjoying the crisp mornings and beautiful days, caching whenever we can.

Attending the Clear Water 2019 mega this Easter in Queanbeyan. Apologies for the generic log but we have found too many to compose individual logs. Many thanks to all the cache owners for their caches, which have been exceptional in their maintenance I have had only 1 dnf and that was only because I was not going to make a tree climb without seeing where the cache was. The vast majority of caches have had very good coordinates. Along with useful hints. TFTC
At the Queanbeyan Clearwater event so my wife HippyDonna and I thought we would attack the Beautiful View series, a very testing day. Thanks for doing this series, greatly appreciated & with people like you it makes caching fun.
Out and about today with MrGravel to grab a heap of caches as part of our holiday at the Queanbeyan Mega event.
The Beautiful View series was just what we needed after a couple of days in the city!
Sorry for the generic logs but we appreciate all the caches you have put out for everyone to enjoy!
We signed many logbooks with either our names or HDMG to save space

Finished off the Square rock, Smokers flat walking loop by dashing across the road to pick up this cache, while muggle hubby boiled the kettle on the gas stove for a cup of tea. TFTC ALL7
Needed to do the last 15 of this series. So with Kittykatch driving after doing the letterboxes off we set to pick them up. It was a cool and overcast day, perfect weather for caching. Soon had this in hand and onto the next. Thanks for getting us out and about All7
I had a lovely day out on Tidbinbilla Road picking up the Beautiful View series and a few others.
Last one for the day - I have left the Letter Boxes for another time.
Beaut series - lots of good pull off spots for parking. Caches mostly in good condition.
Thanks again ALL7 for another beaut series

What a fabulous day to be out caching. Back out across Point Hutt Crossing to attack more of ALL7's Power Trails. Oh the work that has gone into them.
I found every cache I went for though some took far too long. My name has now been added to another 36 caches.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this series of caches for us to find.

With a clear weekend around I could no longer stay indoors so have decided to take a drive, so of cause it became overcast instead.
Found this cache in good condition. Quick find in winter.
I was a little concerned coming this way. Black ice it says , on the road. Still the day is relatively warm and it's raining lightly so good melt weather. I've never been up to Corin forrest so I'm going.
They've had the snow makers going it seems.

Thank you so much for this series. It was my first ever power trail attempt. I've found caches along a power trail, but not done as a power trail. The views really were beautiful and I even got to cache in the snow. I used to live in the Snowy Mountains, so dearly miss the snow living out Central West NSW.
Thanks for all the caches
Thanks for all the caches
#8471 - 13:14; Received a shout from No_Tomorrow to say she would be in the National Capital and was after some partners in crime for some caching while she was here. A plan was hatched with Sol de lune to tackle a couple of the new series starting at Point Hut Road and heading towards Tharwa and then on towards Corin Dam, picking up a few others along the way. I picked up the other members of the team and we headed off on what proved to be some great weather for caching, unlike a couple of days back when the mission was initially planned to take place, even though there was still snow on the ground in Corin Forest. Managed to collect 73 from 73 today, including a couple I had on my 'solved but unfound' puzzles list, without a single DNF, not bad for a few hours out, and a good time was had by all. TFTC ALL7
Out with No_Tomorrow, who was in town from Dubbo, and Luckyl10n to grab a few caches to add to our smiley list, and also get the number of unfound local caches down to a manageable amount.
70 caches in the day was a good return for the few hours we spent out. Great winters day and we found everything we went out for.
No problems here and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks ALL7....

I had heard there might be snow out this direction, so Decrypter and Trodectus joined me for the drive and caching trip. All caches found quickly, unless otherwise mentioned. It began to snow. TFTC ALL7.
19th find while out with Goldenwattle and Decrypter to do some caching in the snow. Most of these were quick finds, some however took a little searching with our GPSs not settling down. Some were even found with snow over them. TFTC.
Found with Nissan65 on a few days off work caching. Headed up after work last night for an early start. Fingers crossed the wind dies off. Thanks for the cache
We were on the search for some hidden creatures today. A stunning day and perfect to be out and about. This was #1 for the day. Found at 09:10:00. Thanks ALL7
10701 and 50th of 54 found today.
On short notice decided to have the day off and see if Mr Winglen was available. Thankfully he was so we re-enacted our SA Odysseys for the morning around this series.
A beaut day and lots of safe places to pull over which was a blessing considering it was school holidays. I've never seen so many vehicles out here and it was only as we neared Corin Forest that it became apparent why. The car park was so full they had attendants working there.
A big thanks to Mr Winglen on a much needed mental health day.

Sneaking a morning off work with McPhan on a sparkling but cool day to clear up a few caches. Although a work day, amazing the traffic along here - must be the school holidays. Grateful for the safe parking of this series. Signed or stamped as McWin. Thanks ALL7.

**FIND #37 OF 200**
Well, the day is here! A day I had planned for quite some time. 200 finds in one day with Loci612. We started out just after 6am, in absolutely freezing temperatures given it had been -7 degrees overnight. With a very tight plan for the caches today, we headed out to find our first cache at 6:38am. From then on, it was a very tidy stream of finds. We hit a hurdle with Paddy's Pass but eventually made the find. After that, all the finds were relatively easy until the section of ALL7 caches heading south along Tidbinbilla Road. A few of these caches caused us some strife but we eventually found all of them.
After driving all morning finding caches, it was nice to get out and stretch our legs with DARKSIDEDAN and joeylovestreasure's Vampire Trail. Some enjoyable finds out there! After that we headed out to Burra to pick up the new ALL7 caches along the roads out there. A lot of nice and quick park and grabs and our first DNF of the day, on Burra #24. A few caches in and around Michelago and then we were off to Old Cooma Road for the last couple of caches for the day. I found I was one short at the end of it all so we swung by a quick cache in Fadden to make 200 finds for the day!
Lots of ALL7 caches for the day and a few other ones thrown in the mix. All logs were signed CL or LC with the date 12/7. Thanks to all the COs who placed caches that we found today!

**Cache #38 of 200 for the day! **
A while ago Cankid came up with a crazy plan of attempting to find 200 caches in a single day with the help of the recently published trails by ALL7 and lots of extra's thrown in along the way. I said I was in and a plan was hatched!
The day started at 5:30am when I drove down south to meet up with Cankid, and we soon headed off soon afterwards, picking up cache #1 at **6:38am!** The temperatures started off below 0°C for the first couple of hours and we struggled to open the containers and sign the logs with numb hands. The day soon warmed up however and the layers were taken off and we powered through all the caches on our pre planned list!
Cache #100 was then found at **12:37pm** almost exactly 6 hours after we started and halfway through our goal.
Cache #150 came at **2:57pm**, we had only rested for about 15 minutes by this point to have some lunch!
We were soon very close to the target but the last couple of caches were slower ones back in Canberra just to finish off the powertrails with something more interesting. By the time we were all finished up it was **6:51pm**, not a bad effort considering and just over the 12 hour mark! It was certainly a long day!
P.S Sorry for the generic logs, but 200 caches was a lot to take in! All the ones I remember have extra comments down the bottom
---
*We signed the log either **C.L or L.C with the date 12/7**, for Loci612 and Cankid. We had a miscommunication and depending who signed the log put a different letter first *

A quick find with allrounder and Squiggle30 after having a nice time at Corin Forest. I came for a drive up this way a couple of weeks ago and there was snow along the roadside, today it was all gone but the puddles still had a nice thick layer of ice on them.

Plans were made to head out with Rapidlywild to pick up a few of the newly published caches that came out while we were away. Suffering from caching burn out the Hidden Creatures event made it a little more enticing. Weather wasn't too bad for winter so we decided to start today.
Sorry for the copy and paste logs, but all caches were found quickly except for 2 that we logged DNF's against.
Thanks for all the cache hides ALL7 you have been busy and thanks Rapidlywild for driving and a fun day.

Its been quite a while since I have been out for a big geocaching day and today was a good one. Made plans with FFLL#1 to head out towards Corin to make some finds towards the Hidden Creatures event and today was the first geo-expedition for the new Triton. Had a wonderful day with FFLL#1, found some puddles to mess up the white Triton and even seen some of the snow up at Corin.
Apologies for the copy/paste logs, all caches were found relatively quickly, and I think we ended the day with 2 DNFs (One which we attempted to find on 2 different occassions).
Thanks for the cache hide ALL7 and thanks FFLL#1 for an awesome day

This one is a short walk from the Smokers Gap carpark so I did it at the end of the Spiderman Lunchbox series. TFTC
The aim for the day was to find the Corin Core Cache at Corin Dam with JohnnyBoyACT at 3 pm. There are a lot of new caches on the way to the dam. The missus and I set out at 10 am and did a drive by for lots of inds, actually I did the driving and the missus walked most of the way. She was nearly as quick as me in the car and when I had a bit of trouble finding a few, got well ahead at times. TFTCs.
After a walk to Stockyard Creek Falls, Marmaduke Rothschild (and Mrs) and I met up to at last find Corin's Core. We than cached back down Corin Road a bit. TFTC.
We have been a little side tracted lately and not been out in the wild caching. Been watching how many new caches have been published and we needed to get out and have some fun.
We set out early while it was still dark, bagged a swag of caches and finished in the dark, we made most of the day.
We invited Wilbert67 to join us and it turned out a great day out.
It felt like we had 4 seasons in one today, the temperature fluctuated, wind, snow and sunshine, the caches there were many variables in types and hides.
Thank you to all the COs for their effort on placements and to add to our enjoyment and Wilbert for your company.

A great long day of caching that had everything in it. From city to country, from high to low, from warm to cold. We managed to knock off quite a bit of trails, drive trip, beautiful views and vampire series being the main ones. In between a few very nice single traditionals. Loved driving around this part of Namadgi and seeing snow today was great. Thanks to all the cache owners for putting the caches out, the quality was surprisingly good! Thanks to J+J.AU for taking me along today.

With rain forecasted for this afternoon we decided to tackle some 5 caches that 'joshwa27’ could not locate yesterday. These caches were between 'Milestone Milhere' and numbers BViews 48 thru to 52. We thought that it would be a nice challenge for the group and it did not disappoint. While it did not take too long to find all none were straight forward.
Thought that we would pick up this one as we passed by. Quick and easy find. Thx p2p. TFTC ALL7.

Day out in the ACT to get as many of the ALL7 power trail caches that I could collect in an afternoon. Ended up with about 60. Very scenic countryside to cache in. The odd dnf along the way, only spending a minute or two at gz, before moving on. A very pleasant day out. Thanks for the wonderful cache series, will be back to see and get more. Tftc
SecretSquirrel-BJC and I had a very pleasant day out caching today. Ticked off a few new drive-bys.

Day 2 of my "catch-up with all the caches published while I was away". Plenty to keep me going for a while to be sure! Certainly this is a nice drive out here! This cache was found easily.
