After a long search I finally found it! Some interesting plants nearby. I hopped on a bike which I haven't done in such a long time!
Descending south, had a quick stop to find this cache and sign the log. No time to waste, as continued the walk
Not exactly the greatest day to be out caching... but at least it was dry and not too windy. I had come out to keep working on **WCW - Cache Local Mighty Challenge**... that's 200 Finds in the Whittlesea LGA. Pulled up, parked and wandered over... now where could this cache be? Not too many options really so it was a quick find. Thanks **VK3TV** for putting this cache here.
I found this cache today on my Mega Geocaching Walk #6 - A 35,000 step walk from Hawkstowe Station throughout South Morang and finishing at Middle Gorge Station. A very pretty linear park running through this area. The hides at this and the next cache were my favourites of the day. Thanks from D B-A
*Found on the 30 Jul 2023 @ 4:48 pm.*
*Cache find # 14887.*
After the CITO event that was on earlier today, I then moved down to this area which I have been too a couple of times before but still haven't finished as I am still needing more finds in the Whittlesea LGA.
This one was visited and found without any trouble.
**Thanks to VK3TV for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

In Mill Park today on this glorious winters day. Better grab a cache or two. Great location for a cache and well done on the hide. TFTC
Second quick find walking back to my car after doing some cache maintenance on two old caches of my own. Pleasant spot with nobody about but the ducks today. Thanks.
Great find!
Nothing left to swap but the kids left some special gifts for the next finders

A nice easy find after you have found the first one. Watched over by a pair of red dumped parrots. Tftc
Found on our mega tour.
November 2022. Time for the second Victorian Mega of the year. This time in Whittlesea. What is it with W's? Time for another epic road trip. Who will join our merry crew? We traveled from South Australia and camped in the pig pen. It rained. It blew. It was sunny. It was not sunny. All four seasons. Beautiful location and some awesome caches.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

A nice find in the suburbs today, cache found and is all good
This weekend was mega weekend and we headed over with Freddo, team Waldron, e.gregory1 and Davidwazza as part of our team called: ‘Aussies on Tour’, the log books were either signed with the name, AOT or our individual caching names.
A great weekend away and a very well organised mega despite the horrible weather thrown at us we still managed to find quite a few caches
Thanks for the cache

This weekend, it was a flight and trip down to Melbourne to attend The Whittlesea 2022 Mega Event. I arrived on Thursday evening and had accommodation in Mill Park, which was a good strategic location between Whittlesea and Melbourne. I joined a few South Aussie friends as part of the “Aussies on Tour” (AOT) team, which consisted of e.gregory1, Freddo, gridge98, and Team Waldron.
Several geocaching series were completed, which included the Commonwealth Star Series (CSS), Whittlesea Puzzles for Beginners, Whittlesea Event Gadget Trail (WEGT), Whittlesea Challenge Wander (WCW), and the Whittlesea Compass (TWC). In addition, we targeted uncommon cache types, rare/unique D-T combinations, older caches and those with high Favourite Points. It was great to have visited Victoria's two 2000 hidden geocaches too (Victoria's 1st (Melbourne's 1st) and Devil Bend).
We were treated with great weather for the first couple of days, but then it deteriorated from Saturday afternoon with rain storms and high winds overnight and on Sunday.
We took a stop at this location, and it wasn't long before we made this cache find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Nice cache construction and a good attempt to hide a reasonably sized container than what would have been just the usual Eclipse mint container. The logbook was stamped with our "Aussies on Tour" stamp / noted as AOT to save logbook space. Thanks VK3TV for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found while in the area to attend the Mega Event at Whittlesea.
Today I joined up with Team Waldron, Freddo, gridge98 and Davidwazza as we made our way to Whittlesea and targeted caches of interest. All caches were signed or stamped A.O.T.

I needed a few extra Whittlesea LGA caches so I swung by these ones a little closer to home.
A nice quick find at GZ and the log was signed.
Thanks VK3TV for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

After a couple of days full of fun, caching in and around Whittlesea, with Suscoe, it was time to head homeward. This is one of the caches we couldn't resist adding to our collection before the Mega crowds are out and about in November.
Thanks to VK3TV for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

As I expect to be spending most of tomorrow driving, I decided I needed to go for a walk, and climb a hill. And that's how I ended atop the Granite Hills by moonlight.
Parking at the footy club, I wound my way along the paths to here. A cheeky hide indeed, VK3TV

This cache was hidden in a spot similar to another cache I found recently, and finding it was a breeze.

Wake up early to walk the dog and happened to pass by here. Well it wasn't entirely a coincidence that we walk this way. Thanks for the smiley
A nice park and find on a sunny day out of the house for our 2hrs a day TFTC
Some of the magnets have called off so it can’t be concealed in the original hiding place. It’s been concealed another way to stop a muggle taking it.
A quick find, nicely tucked away.
Lively little location.
Magnet a little weak but still effective.

Out and about tonight with Trailstevo, thought we were in for a nice easy stroll and then we found ourselves hiking up the hill to Eagle lookout. Was a great view from up there. Then strolled down through the housing estate and finished the evening off with a couple of drivebys. Thanks for the fun evening outing.
Out with Gunks. Nightcaching. Some great views and quick finds. It was my night to shine with some of them. Thanks for the caches.
Attempted to do a small caching run with the geoboys this afternoon before the showers set in - this cache was 6th on the list. Geoboys #1 and #3 decided that it was too wet for them to continue the hunt for caches today, so GB #2 had no competition on who would find this cache. We parked really close given the weather, so it was a super quick park and find. Signed log and did some more swaps in the car to keep everything dry. TFTC VK3TV.
Beautiful spot with a nice view! Easy Streak Week after work find. And we'll camouflaged!
Out with xambo4u, it was a cold wet day with a little hail thrown in, but that didn’t stop us caching. A very successful day in Morang despite the weather.
We were a little cache blind here, eventually finding what we were looking for. Thanks VK3TV

Out and about with echidna44 on this very bitter cold run to the North. It even gently hailed or was it snow. I have not been to this high up before and very impressed with the area. We enjoyed our walk admiring the new housing estate. Nice easy find. Thanks for bringing us here VK3TV
Quick find, good location, at least this time I didn't have to go down with the Trolls!
Thanks VK3TV
Thanks VK3TV
No luck with this one. We suspect it is gone. Found the other one on the bridge that confirmed what we were looking for and location...gone we think.
A nice easy find in good condition and as per the description. A pleasant park thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.
Freezing day by the water but found safely. Employing mega stealth here. Residential caches are harrowing among muggle land tftc
We cached along the Yarra River in Templestowe this morning and walked 8kms. By which time the kids demanded lunch - we ended up in South Morang at the shopping centre . After lunch we spied some nearby caches and drove up this way to go for another walk. By the time we got back to the car, we'd done another 5.5kms.
This was the second of your caches we did today VK3TV. Thanks for placing it. I had got to it before the rest of plowfive..and had already done a pre-search. I announced to the rest of the family where I thought it was ... and then ten seconds later, little miss, said, Found it! And it was in an entirely different spot! Well done Tess ... two finds in a row! The boys will have to lift their game.

Suscoe was in the Bundoora and surrounds area today.
It was a very warm day with loads of sunshine.
32 degrees was the top temperature on the car dashboard.
Strange for mid April.
It was terrific to wander the area today and find a few caches in various locations.
Thanks to VK3TV for placing this cache here.
An interesting wander down this waterway.
Plenty of bird life enjoying the wet stuff.

A nice quick drive by while exploring the area with omegaman1971, this one was quickly located and logged in the mighty geo ute! Thanks again VK3TV for the cache.
A ncie little hide here! I remember whenthis was all farm land, not that that was that long ago.
Had the chance to find a few caches before picking the grandkids up after school today.
Nicely hidden container was found with no muggles around. Thanks for the cache.

On the way home from work again, funny, I seem to be doing this every day, thankfully there are plenty of caches between work and home...
A nice quick find in such a beautiful area, I'm pretty sure I've found caches on the hill looking down into this area as well.

After a huge slump due to back problems, it was good to get back into it again today, even though I only had time to find a couple. This one was an easy find. Nice magnets on the container. Much better than the tiny ones I use. Huge family of ducks nearby too. Great spot. Walked the long way back to the car. TFTC.
Found in about 4 weeks ago but can't believe I didn't log when I did the rest on the trail. TFTC
Took me a while to see this, don’t know how I overlooked it as it was in the first place I thought I looked. Thanks for another hide up here hope it lasts
Arriving with a sense of deja vu I read the log again and discovered that it is a replacement for an archived cache. Cachemstr was the one who spotted it quickly. TFTC.
I had a few spare hours this morning and wanted to earn the next Hidden Creatures souvenir (Dragon) so this was one of the caches around South Morang that I searched for.
I remember visiting the previous Waterstone Hill cache. Hopefully this one will last longer.
As I walked from my car to GZ I had an escort of twelve Black Ducks. Were they hoping for some food or are they cache guardians? I felt like singing "Five Little Ducks" but there were twelve of them.
Thank you VK3TV for this cache.
