I was in South Australia for the Adelaide Leap Year Mega and spending further time after other caches before eventually moving on to the Mega in Canberra. Today was the drive from Gawler to Barmera collecting caches on the way. Having solved the problems and acquired the coordinates for the Ridders Roonka Rampage Series prior to leaving home these were targeted today. As the Ode to JLWE Series were inter-spaced with the Riddlers these were also on my to get list. Caches were quickly found and in good condition unless otherwise stated in the logs.
This cache is in very poor condition but thanks are extended to whoever it is who has done some maintenance on this and the other large caches. I obviously hadn't done my homework properly as I didn't expect to arrive in Morgan as early as I did this morning. However, this enabled me to do a lot more caching, and this was one of the ones that I found but hadn't expected to get to until tomorrow. All caches were found quickly thanks to good coordinates. Stamped as PUZZLDTeam consists of Ronice88, Weirdobiker, Contesta, DeJavu, Search 4, Kbucky & myself Bounty Trackers. On a 5day (maybe more) caching expedition with On Ya Bike series as the main objective then on to the Paddle steamer series we are all staying in Nildotte for 3 nights then moving up to Loxton for another 2 nights. With events at either end. And hopefully a few caches placed before 2010 will also be on our hit list. Lots of fun & laughs had along the way and lots of car doors opened & closed. Thanks for placing and maintaining the series.
An epic and memorable trip with new friends - Ronice88, Weirdobiker, de ja vu, Bounty Trackers, Contesta and Search4 - signed as PUZZLD. Thankfully a cooler day as we explore another area here while completing the main aim of our trip - OYB Series. Thanks to JLWEvent for your many cachesRegardskbucky
How fabulous and mind boggling is the monumental scale of geoart in SA. On a multi project in the true sense of the word far from home base which is at higher altitude. The project idea to embark on the OYB series with a group of likeminded geobuddies AKA PUZZLD had its mad genesis a few months ago and of course theres plenty more along with this. Travelling with contesta, kbucky, dj vu, search4, bounty trackers and weirdo biker over a few days mixing and matching skills with good humour and camaraderie. Thanks a zillion to the COs for the variety of caches and challenges. Im imagining a recovery session after this epic exhausting marathon to say nothing of Collingwood winning the 2023 AFL Premiership GO PIES!
Another enjoyable day exploring around the Murray and grabbing great caches and geoart caches before the heat of the day.We had a great day searching and signing logbooks with our Pzzld group friends. Thanks for the cache.
We are in SA with a group of like minded people to do this series as team Puzzld which consists of myself, Ronice88, contesta, de ja vu, search4, kbucky and Bounty Trackers. Lots of caching fun over the next few days
Find # 10334Day 4 caching friends to complete our epic On Your Bike series adventure. Picking up some counties, oldies, and other specials along the route to add to my tally and to stretch the legs. This was a quick and easy find and here as PUZZLD! at Ode to JLWE 2018 - Roonka today with Ronice88, kbucky, De Ja Vu, Bounty Trackers, Search4, and weirdobiker. Thanks so much for the many caches JLWEvent and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light

One of nine “Ode to JLWE” caches found today. Useful information, as if Cleve is any example, then former JLWE towns have good caches, just like former Olympic hosts have good stadiums. I’ve only been caching since late 2019, and I’ve usually got a fixture elsewhere on the JlLWE, so I’ve yet to fully experience one. They sound like fun!
Another badly damaged cache, but this one seems to be managing by way of a small inside the carcass of the large.
Thanks for the cache and series JLWE_Event.

Southern Autumn adventure Day 21. Blackwood SA trip Day 2. Now that I am caching by myself, I can work to the goals I have. This means that for the rest of April and most of May there are not too many days I need lots of caches. With that in mind, I went out onto the Murraylands road to visit some of the Riddlers Roonka Rampage caches and th Ode trads in between. It was a relaxing morning that ended up with morning tea and a quiet afternoon.

The Epic Road Trip with OzHockeyChick has now entered its New Year phase with today being Day 11. After setting up at Roonkas last night we are in for a more relaxed day of caching today. Having solved the Roonka puzzle geoart without realising how close we were to it, we are collecting this along with some tail ends of the Swan Reach side of On Ya Bike.
Back for an afternoon relax at camp by the water (water that is not normally anywhere near that close to the campground). An impressive sight to see this area in flood, despite the devastation it is causing many.
All caches were found in good order unless otherwise indicated.
Thanks JLWEvent for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

#19013. Day 7 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. A travelling day today between Loxton and Blanchetown. Quite a few caches collected along the way and after lunch we did a quick run of the Riddlers Rooka Rampage and JLWE Series. A total of 50 finds for the day.
Another interesting little series interspersed along this road. Nice to pay tribute to this long-standing annual event. Some of these containers certainly haven't weathered well and are in dire straights.

Thanks JLWEventfor a great series of caches along. The Murraylands Road toward the Roonka Water Activities Centre from Blanchetown. We had teamed with MeandDe to do the kayak caches After that adventure we headed to town for lunch before tackling these caches. The Puzzle series containers all seemed in good order whereas the Ode to JLWE2009 look as if they could do with some TLC. Many of these have perished. We were not carrying any containers with us today.

Just noticed that this cache has a N/M log, it appears it has been replaced already, but we will have a committee member check it out soon.
Enjoyed a great day travelling over 300km, finding caches and staying away from other people at this time of uncertainty. It's great to be able to leave home and have a fun day, we even saw a wheat crop that wasn't reapt as yet. We didn't see too much wildlife - the most we saw was 3 kangaroos close to home and enjoyed watching the ducks at Blanchetown while having lunch.
A big thank you to those who hide caches so that we can get out and about and have fun.

Today I headed out for a day of caching around Blanchetown. I didn’t believe Mrs Google when she said it was going to be 26 degrees. I am not sure it was that wallet but it was quite a contrast to previous days.
Was happy to come away with around 50 finds and only a few dnf.
I mainly focused on the Ronka JLWE series the puzzles were all found in great condition but unfortunately the trads were a little worse for wear, alas I didn’t have any ‘large’ containers to replace with. Was good to finally get this series ticked off.
There were a lot of sleepy lizards out and dragon flies obviously as confused as me with the change in temperature.
Enjoyed a nice picnic down by the river and even managed to fit in some cache maintenance on the way home.
My thanks to all the CO for their awesome efforts.
Sadly this one is trashed. TFTC

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA.
With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
The group grew from two to six quickly after having a chat to GoodLook about our plans.
Our team “The Mob” now consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers and ourselves and feathertop joined us on day 4. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book.
All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
Day 6 After finishing the On Your Bike and Around the World in 81 caches today we were heading further West to Ode to JLWE and Riddlers Roonka Rampage. No issues finding any of the caches along this trail.
Thanks for the hide and trail JLWEvent and thanks for the fun "The Mob"

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
Onto day 6 and back out onto the On Your Bike series we go to finish it off. Once we had finished that, we made our way to some Around the World multis, Riddlers Roonka/Ode to JLWE Series, the TdU series and even managed to do the TdF series! It was a big day. We picked up a few caches along the way, travelling along the way was GoodLook, The Drovers, LiB, FurfacesLL, FeatherTop and myself.
Time to make our way along the Riddlers Roonka Rampage series and the JLWE series. All caches found without issues and stamped accordingly.
Thanks for the hides JLWEvent And thanks to "The Mob" for a trip to remember [^].

Day 3 of the trip and we were targeting a number of moderate sized power trails.
This series intersperced with the rampage puzzles was quite a quick experience with roadside caches and just some prickly vegetation to watch out for.

Solved these puzzles ages ago, so it was nice grabbing them whilst in the area with friends.
Most of the caches are stamped as The Mob (consisting of The Drovers, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, feathertop and myself), however a handful contain our own caching names or initials.
The series that we tackled during this trip included The Paddle Steamer, The Turtle, On Your Bike, Around the World, The TdU, The TdF and some Roonka puzzles put out for a June Long Weekend some time ago. Plus many random caches that we passed. So pleased we had a group of experienced cachers including tree and ladder climbers, AND a 7.5m ladder AND a 12m telescopic pole!
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip was spontaneously planned and I was able to pull together a number of my caching friends who hadn't cached together before to form "The Mob".
LíB and I started in SA, drove to Victoria and ended our trip in SA; FurfacesLL and Rapidlywild came from Canberra and The Drovers began their journey from NSW; and then a few days later, feathertop from Victoria, joined us to complete the On Your Bike Series and other caches in SA.
We filled our days with piling in cars, hard core caching, Adventure Labs, crazy funny CB radio chatter, some laughter, some tense moments (OMG some of the ladder and tree climbs on this trip were crazy!), lots of lovely meals and even live music from a band called "Kung Fu Jesus" - nope, that is no joke.
We had hot weather each day (well into 30s), so I am thrilled that I now own a car fridge to keep the drinks icy cold (loving them at about 1 degree celcius).
A sincere thanks to JLWEvent for placing this cache.

Last full day of caching before we head home tomorrow.
fitzy_1965, the geo-kids & I decided to head over to Blanchetown to do the Riddler series, JLWE series and whatever else we could find in the area. Today was the hottest by far and, with no working air-con in the car, it made for a hard day of caching. I did manage to get to 10,000 finds so that was a nice highlight.
All caches were found quickly and in good condition unless otherwise stated.

23,286. Found with minniek during our Post-Christmas escape to South Australia.
This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 14 of our adventures took us around the Riddlers Roonka Rampage Challenge series, the Ode to June Long Weekend series, the Tour de France series, plus cherry picking some other caches along the way. All caches were found quickly and in good order unless otherwise stated. Next find of the day. A nice quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks JLWEvent !!

Today, it was an epic day out targeting various series around Blanchetown, Waikerie and Swan Reach. After making a few miscellaneous stops in the Barossa and Truro towards Blanchetown, my first series were the *Riddlers Roonka Rampage Challenge* and *Ode to JLWE*, and those were found reasonably quickly.
After lunch, the late plan was completing the *Around the World in 81 caches* series, and they were certainly a challenge whilst solo. As light began to fade, I made a stop in Swan Reach Conservation Park, where I found various geocaches and completed the *On This Day (OTD) August* series.
With limited time remaining in Adelaide, I think it was FOMO that prolonged my motivation for such a long day.
Commencing at 11:10 hr, I managed to complete this series and *Riddlers Roonka Rampage Challenge* along this road in about 1-1/4 hr, which wasn't too bad. Unfortunately I haven't attended many of the JLWE events in my time as a Geocacher, with my first and only attendance at 2019's Quorn event. However, I have visited many of the towns and areas to where they have been held, and this series is a nicely themed historical record of the mini-mega events.
Whilst driving along this road, I made a stop here, and it wasn't too long until I had a reasonably quick cache find. The logbook was in good shape, but unfortunately the container lid is cracked, so I left upside down to mitigate any future water ingress. Thanks JLWEvent (June Long Weekend committee?) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Came to Blanchtown to do most of the 2 types of power series on the road to Morgan. This one is an illumination for me. Unfortunately I haven't attended any of the events as I always had been to the 4WD events on the June long weekends. Thanks to JLWEvent.
Day 6 of our holidays and we started off out at Blanchtown down sealed roads, then back onto the dirt roads around the Kingsford property(McLeod's Daughters country), through smaller towns in the area and of course a cemetery or two. TFTC
Craaazy weather coming in. Hail and thunder. Quickly signed and ran back to car!
This poor cache needs tLC from CO, as lid cracked.

Well, the Mega was over, my geobuddies headed back home and now I was off to SA to continue my geotrip solo
Staying at Loxton and today's target was to grab the On Your Bike series and after that, I went on to nab the Riddlers and JLWE series, and several other randoms along the way. All were quick finds and I enjoyed the different types and sizes of containers!
Thanks for the hide and for the series, JLWEvent

"Remember, remember the 5th of November..." well we didn't ?? and now we're late logging this whole series on Proclamation Day (28th December) 2020 ?? . Two years have past since we hosted the JLWE "Riddlers Roonka Rampage – GC7HRNX" Event and in 2019 we were at Roonka as the substitute Caretakers for a week instead of weekend Wardens, while Caretaker, Mark had a little holiday. We did these on a slow drive to Blanchetown, with either Paul or Fab jumping out to find them.
TFTC ?? & if they need maintenance, please let us know. Cheers ????

I don’t always get there, but I love the JLWE Events and have always had a good time! Loved the themed caches in this series and the good-sized containers. Cache #3070.
Heading back out in the direction of Swan Reach and Blanchetown to find a few of the caches I could not get to the other day. With the amount of caches found, logs will be a bit generic. All caches were found in good condition, unless otherwise stated, on an enjoyable afternoon,

After attending an early CITO in the city Doctor Owl, sushilord and myself headed towards Blanchetown with the target caches being the JLWE series as well as others that we came across on our travels. We had a great day with perfect weather for caching, saw kangaroos, emus, sleepy lizards, lots of pretty birds, pelicans and even a wombat so we were very happy with our wildlife experience along with the caching. Had a successful day with all caches found and a couple of containers replaced. [^]
I had solved and found all but 3 of the puzzles on the way home from Barmera on the June LWE when they were published and now that the trads were here too I was keen to get them along with the 3 remaining puzzles...mission accomplished.
Thanks for the cache JLWEvent.

Travelling around Australia, after spending the best part of a week solving the Roonka puzzles today we planned to head out and find them and some nearby caches. Beautiful weather to be by the river.

The cache hunt today with ilook4geo had a few different aspects. We selected a few along the road to get us going in the right direction, then we followed a couple of trails that were of particular interest. Finally we started the first few of another series which we will need to finish later on. All logs had two lots of initials recorded on them, each cache was put back as it had been found and we continued with the hunt. This was one of the caches we found. Thanks go to JLWEvent for placing this cache.
Out for a caching adventure with goingplaces2. The day included puzzle caches as well as traditionals. Each was an easy find, all logs were signed and replaced. It was a productive day, gaining lots of smileys. Found this one. TFTC.
Staying at the caravan park in Blanchetown for a few days Robbo56 and I decided that we would get the JWLE and Riddler trails along the Morgan Rd , quick find and very good co-ords at all locations

Up the block at Sedan for the weekend and headed out this afternoon to get the caches needed for the Mystery at the Museum. A great little trail going from side to side. TFTC.
Another great day out with Anymules in search of the gems we needed to complete the current challenge. And of course having done that we needed to grab a few more caches to return them to the museum. But why stop there when there was still daylight.
Our target was the August On This Day series in Swan Reach Conservation Park. [^] That done, we went to Blanchetown for a very late lunch. 4.00 ish before finishing with a run on this series. I had already done the puzzles so just needed the trads.
Missed it - Dammit. Still found the cache though.
