3rd of 6 found today.Another one that could have beaten me due to my cache blindness, but all good in the rain.****The condition of the cache is - good. ****TFTC Aquilus1 and the high.
Well, all I could see was a lot of rubbish, a big green garbage bag and a campfire right next to the likely spot with an empty snaplock bag?????
Gosh!
This Hide was a lovely beacon for us today.
We spent some time walking the trails on the northern side near Kambah, finding our way around some of the UFO series.
This was towards the end of the trip, when we were off any trails, so we were happy to see this one close to the road and made a beeline through the Long grass to the road, to this one.
After signing it, we knew it was just a slow walk back down to the car park.
It was a long day, about 11km and this was a lovely log to sign before we headed back to the car.
Thanks Aquilus1

Chasing points for souvenir challenges The Rats and I headed down to Canberra for the day to tackle a couple of series and whatever else we could score along the way. After a chilly start we enjoyed walking in this area.

Out finding caches today as part of the Wheel of Challenge souvenir, but with a specific target of finding high favourite caches.
This cache was one of a handful we had our eye on today. Thanks for adding to our challenge score.

#3658 After about 18km riding and now back in the Air Con to pick up the drop off vehicle I certainly felt the heat in the breeze as I stepped out to look for this one. A nice quick find and back to the car. Thanks Aquilus1 for this placement.
Ah yes, the dreaded wire fence. Many a fence has stopped me getting caches before. The dreaded things! Luckily these fences didn't stop me finding this cache! A quick find and sign. TFTC Aquilus1!

The date is February 25th, the time a little pass 9, and I head off to another geocaching adventure! (well not before various problems leading up to it, but I got there eventually).
My goal is to find the remaining Canberra Centenary Trail caches, that goal however, managed to spectacularly flop on it's face due to me A) me miscalculating distance + elevation and B) me being weak and not being able to ride up a hill properly.
The end result was me calculating the GZ of all of them but only being able to find one because I wasn't able to return to that track without dying. That's pretty annoying, but it will give me a excuse to go back to the bushland so I guess that's fine.
A lovely ride today, starting in Dickson, to Coombs, to Kambah Pool (following CCT), to Tuggeranong, to Macarthur, back to Tuggeranong then returning to Lyneham. Only problems were that the heat is HORRIBLE.
Like I might as well have jumped in the Murrimbidgee river, as then I would have been cooled down!
A surprising lack of grass seeds in my socks by the end, despite the long grass. The only animals sighted was many kangaroos, a few lizards and a single shingleback just lying on the fire trail waiting to be run over.
36 (i think) caches found today, covering 93km and 879m of elevation gain, I am now tired.
Overall, great day and thanks to all the cache owners for contributing to this massive gameboard of ours. TFTC!

Checked on this today, log was getting full so have replaced with new waterproof log paper.
Found it! We spent a few minutes looking for it as it was so small but over all a great hiding place! I love searching for these things
Teamed up with AngelG27 for yet another crack at the UFO series and any others along the way. Lovely cool weather for the hike and thanks to AngelG27 for her excellent company as always!
After making the nabs on some of the UFO series, I swung by this one on the way home. Quick find!
Thanks for the hide Aquilus1!

Can say that I had already aquired a hole in my pants today from some barbed wire.
Glad to say not climbing over was required today.
Thanks for the cache

We missed one in this series as we were chased away by a magpie. Found this one not long after. All in good condition and not too damp. TFTC
Found it!! Nice easy spot, just follow the directions. The navigation is slightly off, but other than that, a great cache.
Last in the run of 4 along Kambah Pool road and again no issues with the find. Cache still good condition and sitting as per hint.
Thanks for another one Aquilus1.

Having satisfied my need for a walk, I paused to pick up a couple of park and grabs on the way home - a nice quick find here.

Wow fav point awarded due to the view, how gorgeous... and I didn't have to hike far to see it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
A quick find here today. I started off trying to make this much harder than it was! Tftc
Today I joined Strange Trousers, Kitty Katch and Joolay for a walk along the raging Murrumbidgee to visit the UFO puzzles that we have solved on the eastern side of the river. Before we met up I stopped at the four traditionals along Kambah pool road I had not visited before.
Thanks for the cache Aquilus1

I thought I'd previously cleared out the caches along this road, but perhaps I am mistaken? Anyway, if I had, I did it again today on my way to Forster's Trig. TFTC Aquilus1.
Hahaha this was good, we spotted it quite quickly, so we tried to hid it a little more for the next person
Found on Leap Day 2020. Parked nearby for a quick find. A bit of dead fur around, but beautiful views of the close-by hills and valleys. TFTC!
An early morning drive along Kambah Pool Rd. Straight forward find using hint. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Aquilus1 and getting me out and about.
Well this was a little unusual I pulled up and said to myself “haven’t I found this before.” I remembered the approximate date and thought I’ll just check the log. But it was a newly replaced log so now I’ll never know. Never mind. Signed again and all is good. Tftc.
It was a glorious spring morning for a walk along the river. We walked from Pine Island to Kambah Pool.
Once complete and we said goodbye to Darzee Di & Jonasani, we grabbed a cache or two in the area.

A quick check on my four caches down this way, log was full so have replaced... although did once again notice online logs and paper log do not match.
A reminder to please sign the log or offer photo proof of the log or I will delete your finds as per the guidelines.

Tankengine and I were out and about earlier and on the way home I asked if I could pick up a couple of park and grabs.
This was a staright forward find and I was happy that the car that has been reported as parking here a lot wasn't home today. This was the last one for the day as I had home duties to take care of. So we finished up a nice quick trail then headed home. Tftc Aquilus1!!!
Log full. CO has been notififed.

Whipped down the CT on my first real MTB ride in ~9 months. Looked in the wrong spots for a bit before finding it right there.
Cache 5282 on 23 Jun 2019.
Another day, another lot of caches to grab ! While some of them were road side finds, a couple of others were definitely not! Bobl27 and I found 7/7 searched for, which was the right number for the day - I did not have time for a proper caching adventure! Anyhow, all caches found in accordance with the hints provided.
This cache: spotted from the car. Fortunately the wind was blowing away from the nearby dead wombat....
Thanks Aquilus1 for the cache and the fun!

Found as MACH( Mr gravel, Aussieben, Caro, Hippydonna). Spent the day wandering around finding solved UFOs, along with a few traditionals the total came to 31 for the hike. Thanks for these puzzles that have taken a group effort to work out for the last few months. Thanks for the puzzles and the walk.
We had just finished a big walk and were pleased to find this one after a short walk from the car. Thanks for the cache, Aquilius1!
Found by Mary and David, in company with pprass, Grub Fred, Alansee, Phetlern, Gonefishn07, Zobo04 and Tatt2squared (signed as PPAGGZMT or similar), at 1300. Attending the Clear Waters Mega, we made a start on the UFO series and found this cache along the way. We made good progress in the warm conditions, and found most of the caches in reasonably quick time. A relatively easy one to access this time. Our thanks to Aquilus1.

After an assault on a small section of the Alien Geo-art, this was the final barrier before we returned to our vehicles. A quick find to let us through!
Thanks to 'Aquilus1' for placing this cache on the gameboard.

Found during a day on the Centenary Trail from Stromlo-Tuggers. This series is so much fun, TFTC
A big day of caching in Canberra today together with J+J.AU. Most puzzles, and some were quite hard, were solved a while ago in preparation for this trip. I left home at 4 am and tne weatner gods were with us today. Lots of walking in partially hard terrain and lots of different difficulty and terrain ratings mafe today very interesting for the statistics.

Today we made plans to come down to do a day of caching with Wilbert67. We managed a swag of caches. These we picked up early in the morning, all were easy enough to locate. All found in good order. TFTC
Back in the car after a day of walking the Bullen Range, this was a quick find with little exertion required. Thanks Aquilus.
Another quick find and some shade to park under. Thanks for the mini-trail (much better than those huge ones!)
Bumped into Mr JD here who I have not seen since the bbq day a couple of weeks ago .
We had a great chat about everything and spoke about an unusual coloured item on the hill .
Many thanks to Aquilus1 for the hide and views .

I've got dogs with me, and I've dropped my lady off at work. Time for a cache. I felt like a bit of a drive, so I'm down here. Out of the car, the cache is nearby so I won't get the dogs out. The cache was a quick grab, and I was just about to return it when Farmers5 fronted up. We had a chat, he pointed me off to the new cache at the model car club, and off we went. Thanks, Aquilus.
