### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there OCDCacher,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond to this enquiry in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
You need to post a note to the page (within 14 days) explaining the situation and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
Be sure to indicate **the actual date that you expect to have it fixed** so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, it's better for you to decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

Stiill a frown, after the previous find I thought I was on a winner but so many places to look. Better luck next time.

After having a crack at this with my sister and her kids a little bit ago with no success, i decided it would be a good idea to try again for find #80, it thankfully did not take too long as the sun was setting very soon. The co-ords seem to be very accurate, and i used the wires above to try to locate where it was in relation to the satellite picture rather than my phones gps. I stood on a rock that caught my attention and before i knew i had it in my hands.
Container and log is not in good shape at all and will need replacing, thanks for the challenge!

Found by PR&F on 8/7/21 @ 1.35pm.
After a brief poke around with the geokids I almost passed on this but thankfully my eyes spotted the thing.
TFTC kids were happy with a playground nearby!

Still a few more logs to catch up with from a few weeks ago. Walked to most of these after parking as close as possible. Thanks for this melbmatt50
It is there. The log has been wet at some stage and it very crisp but I managed to sign my name. Glad that it is summer and dry, as I don’t think this would be a pleasant location for caching in winter.
After my third fall on the loose rocks, shoes full of mud and a banged up knee, we called it a day on this one.
Found on my second visit. The cache is in poor condition. It needs replacing with a water tight container. Thanks melbmatt50.
This one alluded my best search efforts. I'll try again if I see others are successful.
I dnfd this cache 18 months ago so I returned here with some trepidation. There are a lot of rocks. After a while I used a paf option and tjis drew the required help.
Great to find. Not so hard after all.

Found this one with omegaman1971 a while ago and totally forgot all about logging them... great to come out and grab a few caches in this area that l have visited over the previous few years grabbing a few smilies as we cache around the burbs, thanks melbmatt50 for the hide.

Out with xambo4u, we returned to Mill Park to do a few more caches in this area. Despite the forecast of 33 degrees followed by heavy rain and hail, we had a very successful day.
This is a beautiful park, with a devilish cache. We had to appeal to the CO before the cache revealed itself and we received a Thanks melbmatt50

Out and about with echidna44 clearing out some more in the North in 33 degrees heat the promise of rain. Finding it interesting to see the northern suburban sprawl with underground wiring - excellent. This one was our real first tester for the day. So many options and looking at the previous finders we knew we were in for a challenge. Resorted to getting in touch with CO who was VERY co operative. After a lot of lining up the view of photos given we managed the find. Thank goodness we were the only ones on site. Thanks for your help melbmatt50
Suscoe headed to Melbourne today in the great company of Bushfire.
We had decided to target some caches along the Plenty Road area and we enjoyed travelling around the Mernda, South Morang suburbs as well as part of Bundorra.
It was a delightful day with plenty of sunshine and a mild breeze for most of the day. It did get quite warm during the afternoon as the cool breeze seemed to disappear.
We had a terrific day and thanks goes to all the cache owners for showing us this area.
Thanks to melbmatt50 for this hide.
We visited here for quite some time with no luck today.
Mr. S had been here once before on a very hot day and came away empty handed back then.
So we sent a message to a previous finder and the CO and soon we had a reply from the CO that he was at the location so we headed back. We all looked for sometime again without any luck.
After calling it a day, we headed back to the car and then Mr. S headed back to have a chat to the CO and with one more look the hide was uncovered.
He almost fell over with surprise.
It was nice to get a reply from the previous finder a little later too.
We do appreciate the way our caching community is always ready to help out.
Glad to be able to put this one on the found list at last.

After claiming a very high D/T challenge cache in the You Yangs yesterday, only a two km walk but the walk there and back was the easy part, but the climb ,thorns and huge rocks proved a huge challenge for the ageing Bushfire who had done the same walk two years ago on his own but two years means a lot when your over eighty, but I made it, so today these caches were very easy but I am still feeling the effects of yesterday.
My very special caching partners, the suscoe’s invited me to tag along for a visit to this area which I have never visited before even though I have been caching since 2005.
I could not get over the number of great old Red Gums that seem to have been reserved with their own little bit of space and the number of old fallen huge old logs that have been given their own space as well.
Today in this area I logged as I went with FLL, which simply means that I will follow up with a decent log ASAP. I had a please explain from sbrundan as to what it meant so now you know what it means and here is my full log as I said I would place tonight or as soon as possible.
Special thanks to all the cache owners whose caches that we have found today as without you guys placing caches we would be back in the early 2000’s when if you found two or three caches you had a good day and travelled many km to get them, oh so different today.
We had spent a long time looking around all the rocks all too no avail but after a message from from the owner that he was at GZ we headed back to the area for another look and again came up empty, but Ross persisted and finally he spied the hard to find little fella.
Thanks melbmatt50 for placing this cache for us too find.

After visiting the original site on two occasions and the cache not being where it should have been, a new cache has been placed in a slightly different but close location. The container is still micro in size but a bit different. I apologize for the delay in getting this done but things have been a bit busy here. The cache is also a premium one due to several of my caches being muggled. If you have visited this site and not been able to find it, message me and I will help you locate it with some information.
The missing cache has been replaced with a new one and located in a slightly different spot. The coordinates have been checked three times with a gps device and so should be accurate.
After inspecting the area around ground zero, the cache was unable to be located. A new cache will be placed as soon as an appropriate container can be found.
Apologies to everyone who has been looking for this cache but not been able to find it. I have been away a bit and what with things around here haven't got around to checking to see if this cache is still in tact. As you will have noticed this cache is quite a difficult one to find, even for the CO. I will attempt to do a proper search for this cache and if I cannot find it then I will permanently disable it. I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
I appreciate the good intentions of atsmug in bringing the situation regarding this cache to the attention of the geocaching community.
Logging information regarding a cache is certainly to be encouraged and is a great way to alert the community to an issue with a cache. However, making direct contact with the CO via email/message and acquainting them of your observation AND/OR logging a 'Needs Maintenance" log on the cache page is the preferable first step. Please only use the 'Needs Archive' log when the CO has not responded to a 'Needs Maintenance' log or if there are serious problems with the cache or its location.
Posting a 'Needs Maintenance' log on the cache page notifies both the geocaching community as well as the cache owner. This log adds an attribute to the page (looks like a spanner with a red background) to alert other geocachers of the needed repairs. Needs Maintenance logs are not forwarded to reviewers, but they are the first step in the Archive process.
If the geocache has not been found for a reasonable amount of time and the cache owner has not reacted to a "Needs Maintenance" log, then that is time to post a "Needs Archived" log on the listing. Please read the Help Centre article: [When a cache needs maintenance](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=107&pgid=434
###**As the logs indicate this cache may be missing, I am disabling it in the hope that the CO will attend to the situation.**###

Headed out with Fleabag today for a few hours to continue our mystery at the Museum campaign. So we headed out to an area where neither of us had found too many.
It was freezing today but the gloves helped. We spent 20 minutes here in the cold and occassional drizzle. A lot of pieces of glass around so had to be careful. Once the rain picked up pace a little we called it a day and moved on.
Thanks melbmatt50 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Nope. Reckon I found the zebra. Maybe CO could check to give us seekers hope that there is gold awaiting if we persevere
No luck for our 5 sets of eyes and at least an hour of searching.
We stopped here with the GeoKids for lunch and once there where in the right spot they refused to give up. After the rain picked up ️, we had to call it and drag them away from GZ.

Hmm... lots of broken glass here so geocachers beware. Got a feeling all the scrambling and nearby muggles have led to this one being misplaced or stolen.
This is Suscoe's first visit, too hot for any search today.
It seems that we will need to return in cooler times with plenty of time up our collective sleeves.

With a clear hint , displaced many objects (like many before me looking at the evidence), none of them were the cache..
Very long search in heat, I thought a hint was going to be added here, my plan to get a few caches tonight thwarted by one dnf.
Maybe next time I’ll try this last rather than first.

Second one for the day. But wow there are so many places to look!! After looking for a couple of minutes my friend started giving me clues. But I still couldn't find it. Lots more looking.... then they sent a photo of the exact location... but I still struggled. Determined not to give up, I kept looking. After another hint, I finally found it. Wow, that was some camouflage!! TFTC.
You got me again melmatt50, after about 45 mins I gave up , so I'll come back another time.
A great place for acache. I got a bit wobberly jumping from rock to rock.

Okay after two visits and lots of thinking rain was coming both times .
Heels and black pants don’t make it easy to climb around the rocks .
With help from the owner and 3% left on phone finally came across the goods
I also took the scratchie as I’m hoping it will make me rich .! Thanks melb Matt this is a part of the 100 challenge

I saw so many DNF’s
Marked against this cache
My curiosity piqued too much
To not give it a bash.
Off I went in my little red car
I entered Red Oaks Park
3:46 when I arrived there
Plenty of time before dark.
After a reasonable amount of searching
My palms were getting sore
A voice was heard behind me
‘Are you looking for what I’m looking for?’
We set out searching together
Piling rocks to mark where we’d been
Everything started to look the same
But just rock after rock had we seen.
‘Giving up yet?’ said another voice
As we stopped to greet our new friend
‘Not a chance’ we said, even though
It was driving us around the bend.
The sun was setting quickly
And we thought the night had us beat
I switched on my torch light then
Struggling to admit defeat
Then the light caught something unusual
I reached in without care
Wrapping my hands around something smooth
I found it! It’s right there.
As I signed my name as the First to find
There were shouts of jubilation
We kicked over our piles of where we’d been
As Mark of our celebration.
We dusted ourselves off and walked away
Trading stories as we moved to go
I was going to give this a favorite point
But it was my knees that said no.

I was supposed to be sailing today but alas the weather had other ideas! Having caught up on the leftover chores around the house from last weekend's camping trip I decided to wander over to the park and try to find this cache that popped up the other night.
Arrived at GZ to find a guy sitting in the middle of the rocks with his head in his hands, I called out "are you looking for what I'm looking for?" I introduced myself and we continued the search creating little piles of rocks everywhere so we knew which rocks we had already searched.
After what seemed like years of searching I looked up to admire all of the cairns we had created! We then heard a voice "giving up yet?" We replied "not a chance", with 3 of us searching the number of cairns grew and grew and with thoughts of zebras going through our heads we thought that the sun was going to beat us!
With home so close the thoughts of light and heat were starting to discourage me, the torches came on and I hear "got it!" Well done BenLinus815 on finding it! We all signed the log, celebrated by kicking over all of our cairns and headed off.
Until Geocaching introduce frustration points a favourite point will have to do for this one!
I'm off to commit a robbery now that I have no fingerprints left from picking up 300 tonnes of rocks!

It was getting late in the afternoon but I thought I'd give it another go before my fingers and knees healed up properly from the last effort. I arrived to see two grown men with heads down and bums up creating small piles of stones. As I finally slowly walked over it looked like a small mining operation was under way. My first stupid rhetorical question was "Are you going to give up ?" which was met with resounding NO's. After introductions I too joined the mining operation muttering "it's got to be here somewhere" while scanning the area for the faintest of clues. More stone piles were created before there was a Eureka moment when BenLinus815 found it where we had previously searched by using his torch. After signing the log and a little bit of landscaping we all parted ways.
Thanks Matt FTC, but not the sore knees and skinned fingers.

11pm
Was in the area on an emergency call out to assist with a formal dress 'wardrobe malfunction'!!
But that's another story... lol.
Afterwards, Emeylo and I hit a frosty GZ under starlight, while Mrs Welder waited in the comfortable warmth of the car.
We found some small rocks.
And some big rocks.
And many cold rocks.
And even some grumpy ducks.
Eventually we left the ducks to it and hit the wet monkey bars at the playground, and we had more joy there, lol.
Thanks for the challenge!

Like those before me I scrambled on the rocks in the freezing wind & intermittent rain showers but came up short. Another day I guess.
I spent 15 minutes trying to locate this cache. The compass was pointing at suitable terrain but my head said that location was flood prone. Other possible spots were far from the co-ords.
I will return to search again in the near future.
Good luck to the other FTF hunters.

Nearly forgot to log my DNF. I spent a cold and windy 20 min search this morning just after it was published. I think I’m getting too old to be scrambling over bluestone rocks especially on such a cold day. I’ll come back on a better day.
