Council have removed the hiding spot for the cache, so it's time to archive it.
Out with morty8888 for some more caching; today around The Ponds in the rain.
Here we scratched our heads for a while and it wasn't until we stood at where the coords wanted us, and did a closer inspection, that it was CIH.
TFTC the Shoes mob.

A rainy day for caching but that didn't stop Oldmorty and I heading to the Nth West for some GPS searching. We started at what was the obvious structure but then checked direction needle to relocate to other objects. Oldmorty soon found the sneaky hide. Nice one! TFTC!

This was the third of three finds for the day. After finding “The Green Lantern”, it would be silly not to attempt this one as it was nearby. I decided to walk down to GZ and noted only a couple of likely hiding spots. I checked a few spots, close and far from the posted coordinates, and even checked a spot that seemed promising but revealed nothing. After checking some of the photos and past logs, I decided to trust the GPS and sure enough, my previous thoughts on likely hiding spots were correct, but I was only a few steps away. SL. TFTC.

Nice to see a slightly different type of cache.

This Sunday afternoon I decided to visit the area of Stanhope Gardens and Kings Langley to convert some of the green dots into yellow smileys on my cache map.
This is Shoes' territory, so of course I had to find a few. This one was quickly spotted.

We came here after searching for and finding 'Green Lantern' (GC8FAHP). Our GeoSon loves Harry Potter and said he just 'had' to find this one. In the end, it was me, GeoDad, that made the find after looking elsewhere for ages and the GeoWife having the right idea the whole time but not quite putting it together.
I decided it had to be somewhere else despite what the GPS and compass had to say about it and in the end, I was shown up by both and the GeoWife when I made the find.
The cache is still in really great order and we signed where we needed to sign. Obviously, we are going to be giving this one a favourite point.
Thank you Sensible Shoes, Shoes Junior and Little Shoes for placing this cache.

We really enjoyed this one. The gorgeous sunny winters day was an added bonus
I took my 2 girls on our first geocaching experience. After having no luck at another local one, we came here and after about 5 minutes, we found it! Very excited to find our first one!
#5229- A clever hide found by thomo31 as we started to think about heading to the event. Our first of the Harry Potter series. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman before heading to nearby event. A short search and the lost mail was found! Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Found early on a beautiful Wednesday morning. Love Harry Potter so this series is exciting. Yay another brilliant cache. Guess I’m going to Hogwarts now!! Love the care you have taken with cache names and the type of cache hide and the Harry Potter references. Thanks
Was nearby with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) doing some shopping, once we finished, we headed here. Parked nearby and walked to GZ, GPS's were doing funny things but after a bit of searching in possible places, T came up with the find. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H). We were nearby and decided to make a detour and try for this one. We arrived at GZ and started searching for obvious hiding places. C went one way and I the other and soon we spotted the hide. We headed to a place where we could sign it and realized we hadn't brought a quill! Thankfully we had a pen so we used it instead. No muggles around so cache replaced and we headed off for some lunch. TFTC.
This was not really a difficult cache to find. It just needed a careful search as the available hiding places were quite limited. Found the container and noted two more names on the log. Only then did we head back where we had come and call it mission accomplished. Thanks go to Sensible shoes, Shoes Junior and Little Shoes for placing and maintaining this cache.
Came along here with goingplaces2 to pick up some of the Harry Potter themed series of caches. Found this one OK, signed log, job done. TFTC.
found with the geo fam while tracking clues to solve the mystery at the museum thanks for the cache

A quick find as the wind started to pick up speed and drop the temperature.

After visiting the nearby tree, we headed across the park and past the dog owners to make this quick find. Loved the theme, well done. Cache in good order. Thanks Shoes family.
A nice stroll in the park to get to this spot. Had CIH quickly, no spells required.
Well after 10 min looking in the wrong spot went to the next logical place and bam found it
Found the secret letter in its little hideaway. Nice park good for a run. Bit wet today but nice little detour. While out on errands.
We looked at the wrong spit but decided to go back to the clue and led us “under the stairs” - took us 5 minutes ️ 11:02pm
Such a fun little cache! We are big Harry Potter fans so we really enjoyed this TFTC

My phone initially put me right between two likely candidates and of course I chose the wrong one first. And now the phone is showing a preference the other way which thankfully led to a quick find. Nicely done!

Nice quick find in the series, awesome find with yehhboii for geokid potter fans TFTC
After visiting Burger Point at Mrsden Park this morning we took a little driving tour around The Ponds and surrounding suburbs to see where my partner works. The parks and gardens and walking/cycling paths around this area are amazing and well worth a visit. I said I'll hve to come back another, cooler, day to have a better look.
This is the first cache I've found that was hidden in this way, thankfully my cache senses were working well as I wouldn't have searched for long in the full heat today! TFTC.
(A note to the CO; apparently this GZ is scheduled for an upgrade, if you live close by as previous log suggests maybe keep an eye on this one. Please message me of you would like details of proposed work.)

As I was spending Christmas Day at Sensible Shoes, Shoes Junior and Little Shoes house I obviously had to find their caches while I was in the area. I'm also currently re-reading the Harry Potter books so these caches were of interest.
Like others, I thought the cache might be in another spot before trusting the coordinates to make the find. Had to out-wait a dog-walking muggle before retrieving.
SL TFTC
Merry Cachemas!

Was able to park nice and close to GZ. Being early in the morining there was no muggles out and about. The cache was found quickly and easily. The log was signed and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you Sensible Shoes, Shoes Junior and Little Shoes for placing this cache.
Nice hide, i like the Harry Potter theme. Not where I thought it be hiding! Tftc
