No luck for us here today, just like the last visitor. Since it is so near a playground, and since children play in trees, we wonder whether it is still here.
I am not sure if the strong winds had blown the container around. It was lying in the open, so I have tucked it away with a few leaves... Owner of the cache might want to check that I have put it back in the correct place.
Thanks for the cache... I didn't even know this reserve was here

Had a great day out and about caching in Canterbury, many thanks to all the cache placer's.Thanks Bitsprayer
Found on a caching journey into Mid Canterbury today with Bitsprayer and Erninz. All caches found in good condition. Really enjoyed the challenge and the many hours spent on the puzzles caches to unravel the coordinates. Also great to travel along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
On our way to do some caches at Godley head and saw this on our route so had to stop. A lovely playground and reserve. Found the what might be the cache on the ground, opened it and yeh it was. Signed the log and have put back in hint place above. Thanks for this cache Benw2018.
On our way up the hill to do some D/T caches. A detour on Mt Pleasant Rd took us here and a nice diversion. TFTC
Nice! Several painted rocks around the place, which might attract muggles. tftc
I remember finding a cache around here years ago, nice spot to come and visit again. Found it out in the open a few feet away from the hint so put it back. Cheers
No problems with this one. My muggle friend made the find. Beautiful day in Christchurch today. T4tc
Easy find while creeping behind Mum and offspring. When are those children returning to school?? TFTC
It's back. We got it, looking keen beans and not giving anything away to the kids on the swings, totally undercover, man, like totes, tftc.
Had a check up on it today, cant find it I think it has been muggled. Will replace soon.
A quick and easy find. I've been around this way several times, and there have always been people playing in the playground. Not today though so I managed to hunt down the cache. Thanks
It's a nice day for a drive around Christchurch. The sun is shining and the wind is blowing, and I hear the call of the cache.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Found easy enough but had to be a little discrete as people were playing tennis close by. TFTC
Quickly located on a wee caching trip up this road. Thanks for placing the cache. #3192
#16113. Needed a few finds today to improve the numbers for September 8. This was the first find of the day. I managed to miss it when I went past; luckily Troodles had sharper eyes. TFTC.
StreetWalker and I headed to the hills this morning to find some caches to bring our find count for the 8th Sept to at least 20 finds. A successful outing with all caches looked for found.
This was the first stop and I'm sure we have found a cache here before. When we saw where the GPsr needle was pointing, we were relieved that the playground was empty. SW searched for the cache unsuccessfully, he was looking too low, so I had a look and there it was.
Thanks for bringing me back here and TFTC.

Went out with cachelet #3 for a few caches on this lovely morning. Parked up nearby and the wee man made the find. He was keen for a few more. Nice and easy find for the wee man.
Thanks for the cache Benw2018.

After a busy day at work it was my goal to find a geocache or two. I am grateful the rain had stopped. Thanks for creating this geocache.

Fifth find on International Geocaching day. The couple playing tennis didn’t event notice us! Tftc
Nobody around today as we are always a bit concerned with caches close to playground. But well hidden and a quick find. TFTC
To keep up with my personal challenge of achieving a minimum of 10 caches finds per day I needed to find 6 caches today. A viewing of my unfound caches in Christchurch revealed that I should be able to achieve my task in the Ferrymead- Heathcote Valley area. I decided to start with this one high up on the hill overlooking the valley. A nice quick find ensured that I was off to a good start.. 1 in the bag, 5 to go. Thanks for your first cache Benw2018[^]
We had a great view over the City to the Mountains today. The Cache was quickly found.TFTH

Found on a dog walk.
The tree was very obvious but the base of the tree was not where I expected it to be. At least from this hide point of view.
BB's Legoman still keeping an eye on the logbook.

I was in the area today so I checked up on the cache, everything was fine. Happy Caching
Decided to stop on the way past. Unfortunately the ambiguous clue didn't help too much, and the coords were out quite a bit. Eventually found it was a nicer hide, and a lot closer to the play equipment than I expected. TFTC.
Well I made hard work of this one firstly there were kids at the playground on this beautiful day how dare they. Once they had moved on I still managed to miss the prize but finally spotted the right place all good. TFTH
Well done. Just managed to replace the cache before a muggle and mugglettes turned up to play on the swings. TFTC
I managed to get here between showers. I pretty much followed TeamBroadbent's pattern, although I'd read his log so I knew I was in the right spot. Finding what I assume was his pen confirmed it.
Given the hint this was a surprisingly sneaky hide, well done.

{FTF} 7 a.m. Came in the dark with a few showers around. I was up early as always to make breakfast for the kids and noticed the new cache overnight. My lovely said I was welcome to give it a try, so off I went. At GZ went to the obvious tree but did not find immediately, and widened search. Then back to first tree and a bit more thorough revealed the cache container. Blank log! Lovely. Left the lego man in place and signed. Good first cache, so I'll contribute a FP. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent aka TB (prev known as BJ25). Find # 1743
A little trip down memory lane for us, as the remaining building was my first ever teaching space as a brand new teacher way back in the early sixties. Cache was very well hidden. Took us some time to extract!!! Place looks so different now. Great to have flat spaces on the Hill.
Came out midafternoon with the family. Boys enjoyed a run around then we went for a big loop walk around the streets. A nice wee hide, quickly cornered and signed. Cheers.
