Logs
Heading SOR for a Westoz meeting, its along way from home so I thought I would try my luck today and grab a few smilies before the meeting . All good hereSome logs signed as N20 This is my 13845 find Thankyou GriffinUnit13for placing and maintaining this cache for others to find .
came for a walk around the lake in this nice park, found easily enough, SL TFTH and bringing us here again, just squeezed my entry onto the full log.
TFTC! Nice spot handy place to hide. Not so easy to see in the dusk but we got there eventually. log is now full and requiring replacement
The GPS was not happy with this location, only one of us was "average height", it was buried deep in its hiding place, it took digging to get it out. I spent more time photographing the birds at the location whilst CTBH rested and Gwawr played over the hill after found so thankyou for this location, we also collected so many feathers to add to Gwawr's collection.
This was about our last one before heading west, we were staying nearby so this was a good reason to go for a wander.
There were some good sized boats in the water when we were down there for breakfast, very interesting naval past and presence here.
Thanks GriffUnit13 for the cache. TNLN

Took a few minutes of checking several options before coming up with the correct one; my gps was out a bit. My first find for 2022 TFTC
Nice quick find with Geodogs M and R on an afternoon run as it's such a beautiful day. Too nice to be stuck indoors. The only problem here is retrieving and not ending up with a hand full of splinters. Tftc guys
Find 9 of 16 with five DNFs on a beautiful Good Friday ride-y around Rockingham after earlier paddling over to Penguin Island.
Park looking amazing in the late afternoon sun. Easy find.
TFTC GriffinUnit13!

Nice weather this morning for a walk in the park. The cache was in the second place I felt and I sat nearby and signed the log with all the noisy birds around me. Cache replaced as found. Thanks for this one GriffinUnit13
After finding one cache in this parkland I went for another. Parking was more convenient, I even had a shady spot.
The walk to the cache was through a cacophony of birds calling. The variety impressed me. As I approached GZ I was approached by a duck and a hen, presumably thinking I might throw them a tidbit - I had nothing anyway.
A methodical search led me to a well hidden cache that I could so easily have missed.
When I was about to put the cache back a boy headed straight in my direction. I thought I’d been spotted. But it turn out there is a short-across the waterfall that he was aiming for. Once he was gone I could put the cache back unobserved.

This is my 1289 find.

Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!

Looked around a bit - not great reception under the trees. Still a quick find. Thanks for the hide
Was about to give up then located the little thing. Ants loving this one. Tftc GriffinUnit13
Thanks for bringing us here. Lovely place. After a short search soon had the cache in hand. Thanks
A brief walk in the park on a late cold afternoon. The hint helped as I felt the cache before I saw it.
The local birds were the only one showing interest in us geocaching.

Phew ...I had lost favour with Me&B so was pleased to redeem myself. What a lovely park - thanks for bringing us here.
Had to wait for some muggles to leave the area, then it was a quick find for geohusband. Thanks for bringing us to this great location, we didn't know it existed!
Out and about today and I decided to check the map to see what was nearby.
I find myself with time to kill so I stopped by here for a find.
Since I’m not average height, I lowered my expectations and made a quick find.
Many thanks to GriffinUnit13 for placing and maintaining HMAS Warramunga Park #2. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

So we came back to pick this one up as last time we couldn’t have a proper look due to lots of families having a good time playing and feeding the ducks
So we got it nearly straight away signed and replaced log

The colour of the cache may well have fooled the last attempted finder. If you have trouble seeing into shadows a torch will help.
The cache was slightly lower than stated for us but was in the zone.
Thanks

searched at an average height but didn’t seem to find today, will revisit another time.
Getting the geobaby and geo toddler out of the house and doing a maintenance run, have replaced this one with a new GC and log, happy hunting ️️
