Logs
Alas, due to the current situation, changes to family dynamics and other life emergencies, the cache won't be able to be replaced, so it will need to go to the archives.
It was fun while it lasted, thanks to everyone that found it, logged it and enjoyed the search! We'll be back again with new finds soon...

Temporarily disabling this so we can sort out a replacement and update the hide. Will be back online in a week or two!
Cache find number 2999 as we headed to the hills to find our 3000th cache!!! I think there use to be another cache in this area many years ago. Thanks for hide parkermon.
On our way to Myrtleford and stopped in here on the way. Nice little hide although I think I have found before just forgot to log it
Cache has been replaced and rehidden. Hopefully it's less attractive to muggles this time.
Happy cahcing!

Temporarily disabling this as it needs a replacement, and possibly a location re-think due to high muggle activity
Found with a tag along in the late afternoon while on an overnight camp in the reserve. TFTC.
Nice place for a swim. Good hide with a little privacy for a leisurely log signing as is a popular place for muggles.
Cache maintenance completed. Added some new plastic protection for the logbook, dropped off new SWAG as well as a trackable.
Re-hidden with a little more camouflage this time.
Have fun, keep up the caching.

Found by edmil and maddie. First cache in a while and our first visit to this watering hole, despite visiting this region many times. The cache was a easy find, could see it from 10 metres away. Signed tge log but made no swaps. Replaced the cache but covered a little more so not so open.
After replacing the caches we took our sea kayaks out on the water again it had been quite some time since they had hit the water.
It was qyite crowded here today as the temperature was in the high 30's many people were out in similar boats and quite a few just cooling off in the water.
Thanks for the cache a micro compass rose also dropped by for a visit

Cache is good . Picked up a trackable will move on ASAP. Hot and dusty today. TFTC
A return visit to one of my favourite swimming holes on this beautiful winters day... A bit too cold for a swim but a great little cache find and a tb to take away with me
Tftc, let's hope this one remains unmuggled for a long time to come..
Left our usual explorer card and a few swaps, took the poker chip and Nursey Kelly

Alas this cache has been muggled (no sign of original container or camouflage). It's now replaced with a 200ml container, hidden in a fairly standard manner. New SWAG and a TB included.
Seem to have found where it was but not 100% shall be back once there's been a found log
Disabling this while undertaking some maintenance (read:replacing the cache). It should be up and running again shortly. Thanks to everyone who has sent messages to let us know the status!
Going by previous logs and photos it appears to be missing. The spot according to previous photos has been pulled apart and can’t seem to see it around.
We took a spin down to Yack for some of our favourite pies and decided to grab a cache or two on the way home. Last time we were here there was a lot more people and caches. Today was nice and quiet. The cache was quickly found laying on the ground so we signed the log and returned to the most obvious spot according to the hint.

Found during our week at the Clear Waters MEGA event.
The weather gods certainly turned on some April sunshine for us.
Such an amazing week of caching around Canberra and surrounds.
Thanks to the CO for this hide.

We had lots of fun trying to find this. It was our first geocach adventure. J,V&K
Unfortunately the travel bug was not in the cache . I am the owner of the travel bug and was excited to think I had found it again after placing it in America in 2016.

Gorgeous little spot, though we usually swim around the other side, was nice to get a different view of the little lake! Also ran into GrumpyBump in the car park, my first encounter with a fellow cacher in the wild! Thanks for the cache!
Note: TB is not in cache.

Did not have a picnic, already eaten in Yackandandah, but it would be a nice spot in the sunshine, bit showery today. There was a cost as well thanks to geogranny and the nearby strawberry winery.
Time on my hands again. Decided on a loop Wodonga/Kiewa Valley/Yack Lovely days drive with some newly discovered roads. Thanks kindly CO for cache placement.
After a week in the Albury/Wodonga area on a school holiday escape from Melbourne, it was time to return home via Beechworth.
Mrs P looking for random caches to do, noticed this one with some familiar CO names so we thought we would check it out.
A nice spot exportswede and parkermon. Thanks for the cache and see you at an event one day in the future.

Had been eyeing this one off for a while so after sneaking a few caches in place and scouting out a few other sites I headed down to find this while quiet. A quick find at GZ and log signed very quickly. TB swap made as well - TFTC
Quick find in a great location. Nice camo. We've found a few hides around here previously that seem to be archived now. Great to see one back in the area. Tftc.
This was the last find for the day with wackyweedos. We enjoyed a morning caching run out to Dederang, Mt Big Ben, lunch in Yack and the quick detour here before heading back home. I have been to this area a few times before with geokid#2 who likes to compete in a few local triathlons.. Im not sure how anyone could enjoy that pastime!! Cache was found , log signed and replaced as found...
#14679. Hoping to find a cache or two on this special day of 18.08.18 so we earmarked this one to visit on our way home from Wodonga. All quiet on the western front on this cold wintry day so a pleasant search in peace. This is such a pretty place, even in winter. Added our names to the log and continued on our way. Left the fish TB that I sighted, in there for another finder.
Thanks exportswede
Thanks exportswede
Not too many muggle enjoying the swimming or picnic facilities when BettyBoo3747 and I came looking for this cache, in fact, not a muggle in sight!
Being the 18/8/18 we had find a cache, and Allan's Flat was sort of on the way home from Wodonga.
A very nice first hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

Used to have a cache in the area myself some time ago, long since been archived.
Quite a regular to this spot for the past few years. It will be harder to get in the warmer months with more people around.
It is a great spot to sit and ponder on a nice day.
TFTC , Cheers.

Out and about on a windy, rainy and wintry day with Ava from Beavar (our grand daughter). A bit too cool for a pleasant picnic today, so we opted to find this new cache instead. 2nd TF! Nice camo. SL at 11.55am in between showers. Took: Diamond Blue TB Left: Keep on swimming TB. #5486 TFTC exportswede & parkermon - an excellent effort for a first cache hide.
Out for a drive my grandparents, Harrowang, and then we decided to stop for a cache, too cold and windy for a swim or a picnic! Expertly Hidden thanks for the cache I enjoyed it!
Congrats on your first hide, hope to get down to this one soon - just want to check - my map shows it on the WEST side of the lake (rather than east in the notes). Cheers
Published- Congratulations on your first cache placement.

I just stumbled on this listing by chance only a kilometre from home. This is our favourite summer swimming hole we spend a lot of time down here over the summer. The water hole as we call it is a great place to spend warm summer afternoon. Well done on your first cache, I found it in the dark with the help of a good torch. I've added a few swaps and grabbed the first to find geocoin. I have often looked at the map and noticed that there have been no caches around Allans Flat. This might inspire us to go out and start placing some caches. This is our very first ever first to find. Thanks for the Cache
