It’s time to archive this one. It keeps getting muggles every school holidays and have discovered that there is a GCA cache nearby.
Was totally stumped but found it! Very first Geocache l! All the way from Perth WA!
A very spectacular lookout and great views.
Popped in on our way out of Merbein.
Not exactly sure which cache we found, but we did find a logbook to sign
BB will contact you.
Thanks, Robmc.

#18758. One last visit to the IGA and the Lookout on our way out of town. How sad. Gave up on the big green machine and decided to look elsewhere and had the cache to hand in quick time. However, it may not be the correct and current cache. I picked up a geocoin that has been languishing here since March 2021 so will move it along. Have contacted the CO and will be interested to hear the outcome.
Thanks TheMoules
Thanks TheMoules
TFTC. Clever cache. It took us a few minutes to locate it and longer to retrieve and replace it. Not easy for us oldies but we did it
Took a little while because once i get down on my knees, it's a slow process getting back up. Seems I didn't need to be down there anyway. TFTC
#16368; Found this cache in company with Sol de lune and I'm not sure how I missed logging this cache before, so catching up now. TFTC 4Moule
After a couple of great days in and around Wang at the Mega, followed by a drive to Echuca, LuckyL10n and I were now in Mildura. LL has some business to attend to, however with time before and after meetings we set on the path of the 'Turtle' and other caches that we passed by.
We headed down to this lookout for a couple, as well as a GCA trig. No issues with any of them and our names were soon in the log book.
Thanks for this one 4Moule....

With a new container in place this geocache is ready to be found again. Happy Caching!
With word that this one has gone missing we are disabling this geocache. We will check on it within the next 7 days.
We came and checked on this geocache today. We have removed the old full logbook and placed a new one in. Geocache is in place and contents nice and dry inside. Happy Caching!
Came back after a dnf. Geo daughter found it. Log book is full and needs replacing
I was pumped to be here
The fresh air was doing me good.
So while I'm here ..
... why don't I sniff around this olde relic
It took a while for the meaning of the clue to sink in.
Eventually it did ...
... and I discovered the well concealed cache
TFTC !!
Fave dance time !!

*Staying in Mildura for a few days*
In town with Happy pants, Happy Feet, The Empire, omegaman1971 and Rebel Acts for a few nights and to clean up the Paddle Steamer Geo Art Trail and a few other series if time permitted.
We headed out to grab a few local caches after completing The Turtle Series. We made our way to GZ where we made the straight forward find. Such a great variety of hides and containers. I have seen many wonderful sights, a fantastic variety of hides and taken many photos around this fantastic area. Great views along here.
Thanks for the cache 4Moule. Appreciate your efforts.
Stamped log and returned as found.

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. There was many other hides discovered, with some really great containers and hides in the area.
A great view and enjoyable spot to explore, while finding this hide.
Thanks 4Moule for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Here in Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet and Happy Pants.
Once we'd finished finding the nearby turtle series geoart, we were keen to keep on caching into the late afternoon, then on and into the night. "There's another one over here" was the saying heard most today. We found a plethora of different cache types, hide styles and were happily perplexed at some GZs! Thanks for the cache 4Moule.

Found by The X-Trailers as we searched the area. Left trackable. Co ords out for us todat as cloudy. Dropped trackable
Just grabbing a few caches around Merbein today and this one brought me to an area l have been before a few years ago grabbing a cache no doubt and after parking nearby headed out for a short wander to the lookout and then to the gz to have a look about. Located the cache container after a short search, hint made it a little easier! Thanks again 4Moule for the hide and for bringing me here.
Checked on this cache and tidied up the contents. All is in good order. Happy Caching!
Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity. We signed most logbooks 'B.E.F.W.'
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!
Very clever hide this one. Retrieved the TB

I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW
Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT!
Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously.
I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]
***Thanks 4Moule for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

This was the first cache find today, while getting Mark's dear Mum, Joan, out of the house. She likes a cache hunt and a nice view.
Got both here. A favourite for the view from Aussie M & M to you.

Hi there 4Moule.
We found your cache **"Merbein Lookout"** at 12:00:00 PM today.
Today we started out from our caravan park and commenced to log caches along a route determined by the "next closest" according to our GPS. This sort of route always gives us a sense of expectation, as we can never really tell where we will end up. We thoroughly enjoyed our cache hunt today, but the recent rain has made some of the dirt roads difficult to traverse, so we cut our trip short today..
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache roughly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
**Dropped Trackable:** "Naviguesser".
Thank you 4Moule for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Geoman found again, took us a while so have checked out every inch of stuff here
We came out tonight and checked on this cache. We gave the inside a clean out (flowers are beautiful but best left out of cache containers). Pencil and logbook are in good condition. Happy Caching!
Good find we ended up coming back the next day because we couldn’t find it at night time that’s a good spot
