Hi Katiekate24
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Looks as if the hint object by which the cache was hidden has gone. Nothing else similar within anything like close proximity of the coordinates.
Found the base plate of a power pole at GZ. Either removed or taken out in a car crash. Suspect the cache went with it. Nothing else like the hint within 15m.
No go here today for us. Coords are out a bit but we looked and looked at the nearby hint item and turned up nothing.
Found only after reading back through previous logs. Hint isn't quite correct either. Tftc
having a geomobile that is a bit different to most i was able to park right next to this one, tftc
Thanks for the hide. I have been trying to find all Cache close to home. All good here.
A nice quick find thanks. And off to find Ms_KR and lunch.
Ms_KR and I are on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland for our family Christmas. Today is Stratford to Whanganui. Please excuse the generic logs, there have been a few finds and they get muddled up sometimes.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Still some time in the day after dinner. So we are doing this Mill series. TS missed this one while I got it snagged and taggged. Cheers.
Teamed up with The Seagnoid and Zara for the weekend to Taranaki / Wanganui regions. Rattlls BBQ being the main attraction, along with LABS between New Plymouth and Hawera. Another awesome weekend.

The final "Mill" search for The Wandering Dragons and myself today. To begin with, we were a bit at sea as there are no hint objects near ground zero. However, we decided where the cache would most likely be. We still managed to miss it on the first pass though.
Cache # 4,931 - quick find with brucewwnz today. Had a little trouble finding, as hint objects are nowhere near GZ. Found cache on the object at GZ, which is called something else! TNLNSL. TFTC!
While I totally agree with the definition the CO provides for "mill" (see my comments on "Windmill" later), this little series does highlight some of the weird uses of the English language. And because of that I am now confused. So... Is this a mill that mills sugar, or a mill that is powered by sugar?
A big day with Taybeedragon, doing the lab caches between Hawera and New Plymouth. Taybeedragon and I had mopped up that area pretty thoroughly last Christmas so just just a few "ordinary" caches as well along this trip. Now back in Wanganui, doing a few after dinner.
Discovered that I have to come back for the Festival of Lights in Pukekura Park - a must see event! It was seriously awesome last year.

#11,920. Mill Road has now been fully sealed, linking Mosston Road to Manuka Street in Castlecliff, Whanganui. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache itself was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. The logbook was getting full though, but managed to sign one of the last spots. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

I was right on GZ, I found where an item had been sitting but only a large plastic bag there. But I will put on my watch list to see if I was ot looking properly amd come back when someone does find it.
I was born and bred (and buttered?) in the River City until I left for Uni in 2001, and still visit a few times a year to see my folks, and for them to get their Grandkid fix. I've done a lot of the caches here during my visits (especially at playgrounds and in their suburb), but there are always new ones that pop up and my map shows a few blue frowning faces.
When @TwigNZ put a call out on the local BookFace group for anyone who wanted to join in on his Saturday assault on WangaVegas, I was keen for a kid-free trip with him and anyone else who signed up. Having secured a hall pass from @WonderfulWifey, the plans fell in to place with @PGCNZ booking his seat as well.
Quick find at GZ, having encountered this container a few times today.

I seldom get up to Wanganui in general, but the pull of Geocaching has given me impetus to pay more attention to it in recent years. With the vast majority of my plans for 2020 having been blown out of the water due to events beyond my control, I decided that a good long day caching up here was exactly what I needed, especially if I was to be able to do it in good company as was the case today.
My callout for company earlier this week was ably answered by Etherlord Clan and pgcnz, and all our logs today were signed either individually or else as Team PET as space on each logsheet allowed.
A nice quick find here today, thanks to having encountered these hides before. The log was swiftly signed and everything replaced exactly as found before heading off to the next one.

Getting the caches along this road after a night at the Seaside campground. Easy find. TFTC
Found 8.50am
Day 2 of Squirrel Nutcase and my road trip south, now from Whanganui back to Rotorua.
Mission completed with collecting TMGT caches, and as to day 1, great history.
Will have to come back at some stage as there are so many caches in area.
Thanks to cache owners for the cache placements. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... This weekend’s mission was about completing the North Island leg of the TMGT. It involved a fairly extensive road trip through the Wellington, Manawatu/Whanganui, and Taranaki regions. We also made a plan to pick up other caches along our driving route...
We solved the associated puzzle this morning, so took a drive out to the area... Our iPhone gps took us down the fenceline. Thankfully, the actual final location was well described. Thanks Katiekate24 and TFTC.

Visiting Wanganui for a week of work based at the hospital. Enjoyed exploring some local caches in the evening. TFTC
This is my first full day in Wanganui getting lots of caches around town. TFTC.

Started our journey after not caching for years - thanks for this one - log was full though
Been a while since we got our geocahcing buzz on. Gave ourselves an hour to find as many as we could this arvo. This was our sixth find from the six we found. Found unexpectedly by Miss 11 and we were all rather impressed with it. Simple yet awesome. Log was full, so added another piece of paper to it. Nice to also explore somewhere new and follow the mill caches along the way. Tftc
(# 5228). Off on a road trip from Wellington today to grab some caches for the Mystery At The Museum challenge. A quick find. Road works just along the road but no problem. Everything in order. TFTC
Spent a pleasant day caching in Whanganui. The forecast rain held off until late in the day which was good. The road is closed for a while, but I decided I get as many as I could before having to turn around. TFTC
Dog walking duties becomes geocaching on a cracker, windless, sunny Sunday morning. An opportunity to see what development is happening on Mill Road.
A quick find here and a good short series - thanks Katiekate24.

Found easily. Have seen this type before and always like them. Glad to have found after my dnf earlier. Tftc.
thanks for placing the caches out this way, we haven't been out this way so it was a nice drive. great weather which always helps. thanks for placement
Was heading out to go shopping this morning and decided that I didn't have anything else on today and remembered there is a bunch of fairly new caches that I haven't gone and found yet so thought the groceries can wait and I set out to get these Mill caches and batcache is on the radar as well. There were a few caches along this trail that were unavailable due to road works on the road nowhere to stop and was hidden behind locked barriers so no way I could even try to get them, otherwise I stopped where I could that was off the road enough or possibly on the side of the road but with enough view either way for cars to slow down when they saw me and pass, was a fairly quiet trip today not too much traffic passing by. Attempted this one and after reading the odd found log and the hint I had a fairly good idea as to what this cache was and also where it was, the hint is slightly off possibly an accidental error but no worries soon found the cache, signed the log, nice idea with the magnets, signed the log and replaced back exactly as found, was tricky to put it back with the magnets and making sure the log wasn't hanging out but all was sorted and went back to the car and off to find the next one just up the road. thanks for the cache.
Straight forward find at 1340Hr on 13 Jan 2019. Clever use of two magnets!
Found eventually, should have followed the GPS r instead of the hint. suggest the the hint is changed. This is a street light not a power pole. TFTC
Our first find for the year! After a huge break we are back and have many to catch up in our home town. Teenagers hunted and couldn't find this one, but I found it straight away as I've seen this kind before. A nice drive up a road we haven't been up before TFTC
Day 4/9 of our New Years trip up to the North Island. This was find #39/43 for the day and #208/526 of our trip.
While staying in Palmerston North we took a daytrip to Whanganui to see what we could see. It was a great day but so hot! After we took a swimming break at Splash Centre to cool down we got back to business. A quick find here and a clean sweep of the 'Mill' mini powertrail. Victory is as sweet as sugar. (I know Im pretty lame, right?) Later we would revisit this spot searching for my GPS lanyard with our spare carkey on it. Sadly we couldnt find it Thanks for the effort involved in placing and creating this series for all of us to enjoy.

Headed off for Rattlls Christmas Party with three other local cachers. Two of our party had recently done this series so it was our turn. A little confusion with the hint wording and not using any gps but soon located the cache. Thanks.
Deleted placeholder and replaced with this log: A long sunny day, driving down from New Plymouth to the most excellent Rattll Xmas BBQ 2018, a very good time was had by all with a lot of fun. This cache was found on the day by Tara Ted and Blenheim Bear with some assistance from Juty Bug and Phronimos. Thanks for the cache.
Hopefully the last trip before schools finish and Christmas and so between the PD and end of year function i popped out quickly to locate the last two of these Mill series caches. Both were very straight forward and again i was surprised by the amount of traffic going along this road and i needed to wait for a little while and a lull between cars etc at the first and corner one of these. The hint on the second made it a quick find also.
Thank you for this series of caches and a a couple more smiley faces.
Thank you for this series of caches and a a couple more smiley faces.
Decided on this short series of caches, and glad to have a complete set on this run of the "mill" series. A quick find as I had seen this type of container by the same CO earlier, and also loads of times in the UK. TFTC.
Was in Wanganui for work, well actually had to come back to Wanganui or Whanganui, not quite sure which one to use, I prefer the older version.
Having to come back to Wanganui for work as there were some issues with my stock, so had to come back today, once I finished work, I decided that since I was in Wanganui I might as well pick up a cache or two before heading back South to Wellington and pick up this series of on.
Decided that I would go out to Castlehill and have a look at this small series geotrail, arriving at the first cache in this series, I managed to find a safe parking spot not too far from GZ and waited till the muggle traffic disappeared before making my way to GZ. Once I got to GZ it was very obvious as to where the cache was going to be and I managed to find it in the first spot that I looked.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where I found it. Thanks Katiekate24 for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (13845). A nice and easy cache for the first cache of this mini geotrail.
Now where to next.... yes the next cache in this series.

After coming up empty handed initially we widened our search and came up trumps.
Thanks KatieKate for an enjoyable trail. It was a lot of fun finding each cache and a great way to spend some time on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Heading back 'home' now after a successful raid on local, and not so local, cache options. There Mill caches are all within a km of where we're staying so I had wanted to walk to them and back as option a. Option b was to be dropped off at the top end and I would walk back from there but mrs capperz was happy to trail behind me in the car as I completed the set. All were found and another sea of yellow smiley faces. T F T C Katiekate24.
I see 2 bulbars had been here before me today too.
After a morning out caching in Bulls and Marton I headed back to Whanganui for lunch and to see if the family wanted to head out in the strengthening breeze for a walk along the Castlecliff waterfront, then riverside path. We went out and had a nice walk, and I managed to turn a couple of previous (missing) cache hunts into successful outcomes this time.
Day 4 and it's a day to grab a few numbers just for the numbers. With too many late starts and lie-ins I decided to get up with the lark (8 o clock) and head out after a quick n easy breakfast. I grabbed quite a few sheep, some herbs to accompany them as well as a revisit to a couple of previous DNFs. Over 30 finds for the day and a good day to be out and about in the Spring sunshine, and occasional raindrops.
Thanks to all the CO s for their hides.
I have had some holiday leave booked for a while now and we are heading North on the ferry, along with the Cache-Qai, and off to Rangitikei to visit our daughter, her partner and our son. First time this many members of the family have been together for a few years so should be good. The plan was half day in work followed by heading off after lunch, then arriving early evening in W(h)anganui to catch up with kids. We're on the North island for a week so there will sure to be some cache found whilst in the area. My Marlborough and Tasman finds have been inching slowly but surely towards my Manawatu/Rangitikei finds but this trip will be sure to redress that balance again for a few more years I'm sure.

many thanks for placing this here
read the hint and went straight to it.

I milling around the corner, when what came into sight, but a well camouflage geocache to offer me delight TFTC
A bad day’s geocaching is always better than a good day at work, so Juty Bug & I have taken a good day to go on a Geocaching road trip from Taranaki that turned out a great day. Juty Bug has mostly cleaned out Whanganui but I’m a long way from that, so we concentrated on ‘new’ caches, interspersed with closing out previous DNFs.
Nearly done here today - Just this little Mill series to finish. Quick find TFTC

Working on infilling my geocaching finds calendar. Having returned to wanganui this little street looks ideal for knocking one off a day while heading home.
Cheers.

This month we are aiming to complete the 250 Finds in September Challenge and we still need about 50 caches. There is nothing immediately local for us to find now so we need to travel a bit more. Today we headed to Whanganui in hope of collecting a few. We were successful with fourteen out of the sixteen we tried for, so that was reasonably satisfying.
We enjoyed our outing on the beautiful Spring day it was today. Bason Gardens on Rapanui Road provided a perfect place for a break and our picnic lunch. It was lovely to sit in the beautiful and peaceful gardens on such a gentle Spring day.
After the initial three caches today and ending up in Castlecliff, we set about the recently established mill trail.
Having approached this one from the Mosston Rd end we realised too late we would have been better to park in Mosston Rd as around the corner in Mill Rd there is nowhere really to park safely. This road was really quite busy today - much more so than when we were here in the past to collect the old timber mill cache.
It was a nice little hide here of a kind we are quite familiar with. TFTC

I have set myself a goal to get the requirements for the mystery cache The well-rounded cacher challenge (Manawatu) This requires me to get 25 badges 5 of which need to be gemstone badges. So each time I now go out caching weather it is by myself or with fellow cacher I will try to get a least one cache that will get me closer to my goal
Grabbing one more cache in the run to fill in one of my missing dot days
Quick and easy park and grab
Thank for the cache
