Yes...as previous finder reported...the cache host tree has been chopped down as was dying.
So have removed container.
So have removed container.
Took a while as the tree has been cut down! So hint may need adjusting. But found it in the end. Many thanks.
Exploring around Aquinos' childhood neighbourhood, we decided to look for some geocaches on the way. Aquinos got lucky and finally found one before either Derpish1 or myself. About time!
Found after a play at the awesome park with the kids. I was looking at the wrong tree and then Miss 9 yelled out “Found it!”
Checked it out...had just fallen out of the part where the 5/6 trunks meet..so I picked it up and replaced and put some bark in front...
All good.
All good.
Took a while to find but after a good look around we found it hidden under a piece of bark!
Thanks for a reason to visit this stunning playground. Great variety of equipment and stunning views of the harbour. Also delighted to pick up a trackable.
Last time we tried this one it was way too busy for inconspicuous searching so this time we headed out early before the park got too busy. A few people around but no one paid us too much notice. Found it easily once we got the right tree. Swaps made and we took some time to make sure it was well hidden. Tftc.
Nicely hidden. Kids spent a bit of time on the playground. This playground is amazing. TFTC
Was here yesterday, but too many muggles, returned this morning after work. Awesome playground, can't wait to bring my grandies here, they'll love it. TFTC.
Was heading into Henderson so detoured round here to grab this cache. Love the container. TFTC Dropped a TB
I had a work Christmas party out this way, so on the way back we stopped here. Had to time the find right with some youths nearby, but we managed to get the cache, sign it and return it with no issues. Thanks!
Plenty of teenagers hanging around here this evening. Did pretty well being discreet going in for the cache, signing it and returning it, then tripped over something on the way out in full sight of a boy biking past hahaha. Typical clumsy me. All in good condition. Tftc
#6288. A busy morning at work but plans changed in the afternoon after the meeting I was planning to attend was cancelled. So making my way back slowly to the airport stopping here and there on the way to grab some caches. This was one of them. Took a minute or two to locate the correct tree. There are a few options in here and lots of muggles around so had to search with care. I had just found the container and stepped out the back expecting a quiet spot to sign the log. But no an entire class or form group of school kids were wandering down the path. So had to wait until more than a 100 kids and teachers and parents had gone past before I could replace the container. Timing is everything! Thanks supernannny for the cache.
Out and about for a spot of cache detection, in between the showers and hail, today. With the weather rather changable I was, mostly, focused on park and grabs. This was my first stop of the day. I parked up in the car park and noted a work crew pouring concrete not far from GZ. But GZ was still accessible and hidden from view, so, I had no issue making a quick find here. Cheers for the cache placement!
Came past here after work, and had to time my search carefully as it is starting to get busy. Thankfully the GZ was obscured by one of those great big horrid SUV's parked across the footpath in typical 4WD fashion. Neat container, TFTC
I see a few very new people have visited.....
Just to help us cache owners....and other finders....please return caches back as per hint and description .
I have returned it to original place...and covered it with medium pieces of bark and cabbage tree leaves.
Please do the same so it will last at this very popular new playground!
Cheers!

Really busy here today with the teacher's strike. We had a bit of a look but way too many people around to search inconspicuously. A bird's nest with eggs in it was attracting lots of kids to the vicinity.
Arrived at GZ and had thoughts of starting the GPS but it was unnecessary as the cache was lying out in the open. Have replaced at the nearest hint item and placed some natural camo over it, hope it lasts. Daily cache sorted. TFTC
Nice easy find here, suprised it lasts here! We covered well to ensure no accidental muggling, tftc
Whoops forgot to leg this until Jan 2019!
Found this while checking out the new playground with the family. TFTC

Good place, enjoyed the facilities as well. Made the quick hide as the container was uncovered and exposed. Hid a bit better. TFTC!
After a morning of housework and grocery shopping we headed out with the goal in mind to reach our 2500th cache by the end of the day (we needed 17 and we achieved it). Found with NZTravellers, darthcacher1 and purply.
Thought I would head back west today to clean up a few more caches. Not too busy here and a nice quick find according to the hint. Thanks for the cache
Gradually making my way up to Orewa for the 10am event at an ice cream shop/cafe then a C.I.T.O after that! Looking forward to all of that, but then I detour to here, I have been to this car park many years ago for a canoodling session! Oh, the memories! But I get out of the car and start to search, I'm trying to be discreet while searching which pays off, but then I hear a family exiting their car and I'm rushing to return the cache before they spot me in the bushes as such. Phew... job done! Nice container supernanny.
Out for the day caching with Bennett24 and Agazo, and this was on our route so we popped in to take a look and see if we could find this cache. For a moment we were a bit concerned as there were an awful lot of workers doing well worky things on the park. Looks like a new playground is coming at some point.
In the end the cache was not in an area that the workers were so a quick and easy find for Bennett24 - recognised the container and knew who the CO was!
Thanks for the cache, all good here and we had no problems signing the log and heading on our way.

I was out with Bennett24 and Tuolei. We were worried that the cache would be in one of those nasty places, but then we read the hint and were relieved. We liked your park, but we didn't have time to play since there were still many more caches to be found. TFTC.
Out with Tuolei and Agazo our mission today was to pick up a few solved puzzles, the odd multi and whatever else we came across along the way.
Made a quick grab here just far enough away all the park workers who had congregated in the carpark. Cache is in good condition and was hidden again out of view. TFTC.

Some people say that this hobby is not "all about number", how wrong they are. Especially when you set a personal challenge to keep your interest in this great hobby going. Over the years I have done this and this year (well it goes until 29/2/2020) is no different. So on to most caches that I can find.
I remember being up here many moons ago. Nice to come back.
Cheers for the cache.

Came to check out the cool playground with my great-niece, who was just as excited about hunting for and finding this cache, nearby. Thanx Supernannny
This was a busy area today with the car park full. Whilst Merlot drove around the car park trying to find a car park Mrs Jag jumped out and made a quick find. Covered up the cache with natural camo as requested by the CO.
I stopped to collect this one the previous weekend while on my way out to NorthWest for dinner but were foiled by way too many muggles in the area, so I came early this morning and made a nice quick find.
When this cache was published I was all tucked up nice and warm studying for an upcoming test. As it was pouring outside at the time, and after a few seconds consideration I decided that I didn't want to go out in the cold and wet even though it was quite close to home.
So instead I chose to save this cache for today to log on the International Geocaching Day. I have to admit this wasn't such a quick park n grab I thought it was going to be, only because as I approached I was distracted by a large bag of toys and junk dumped nearby. After a good look, I soon moved on and spotted something that was actually the cache.

On the night that this cache had been published one of us was out of town on business and the other had already made a find for the day. So she was not at all tempted to dash off in the pouring rain. Checking out the Royal Reserve was kept for another day - and today is that day. Arrived in the carpark and walked over to GZ. Had to wait while another carload wandered by, then moved in to make the find. Thanks.
Checked it out yesterday. My first visit here. Plenty of activity in the area but no trouble collecting the cache. Tftc
We were just passing Royal Rd after dropping off a dishwasher to a tradesman when I got a txt from Merlot asking if I'd seen the new cache notification. No I didn't, and by the time I had, we were nearly home. So we decided to grab the hounds and a torch and head straight back from where we'd come from. As soon as we had the cache in hand, we saw a set of car lights and a torch.
' Nice Evening for it!' I yelled sarcastically to what I thought was another ftf'er in the pouring rain. The figure behind the torch froze and asked 'is this your dog?' waving to Pazza the geohound.
"yes" I said, and the Security Guard carried on to check out the building nearby.
By the time I'd signed it the guard was racing off out the park and beginning to close the park gate to lock up? Luckily for the guard, we got out in time or he would have had to face Geocchi's wrath !
Thanks for the Ftf Supernannny. In fact the very last cache I got before this one was another ftf cache of yours! Dropped off a ftf tb coin.
