Over in the area heading for Canberra to attend the Easter Mega with tmann421Tons of caches done while here and this was one of them.Enjoyed the touring around and all the containers foundLog signed tm/ww NZThanks for the placement and the effort put into maintaining these hides for us to find.
*In the area with woolwood9.* Weather caused some frustration with rain off and on again today with some heavy showers.Searching in many cases fairly unpleasant, with long wet grass and majority of caches that haven't been found for months! We managed to get the container found here! SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for the reason to stop and I appreciate the effort in setting up these caches!*

With a day off work, I decided to head to this series again to grab a cache or two. This one was in a great spot, and as expected, the cache is in good condition.

Today I managed to find 75 Caches for the day with my friend Sui_001 & Loci612. It was an amazing day of caching. We had 2x DNFs for the day. We spent a total of 12 hours caching before I had to head home to do daddy duties. One of the highlights for the day was finding some Persons Tree Frogs near one of the caches that we found. Lots of driving to find the caches today. In fact it was 636 kms in total. I love geocaching so much and the friends I have made along the way make it all worthwhile. Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache, but with 75 finds today it is hard to write a different one for each cache.
ALL CACHES FOUND TODAY WERE SIGNED DSD OR DARKSIDEDAN OR AB OR ADVENTURE BOYS. MOSTLY ALL CACHES WERE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH LOTS OF ROOM IN THE LOGBOOK UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. THANKS FOR THE CACHE AND THE ADVENTURE. I HAVE INCLUDED SOME RAMDOM PHOTOS WITH THIS LOG. THE PHOTOS ARE NOT ABOUT THIS CACHE SO NO POINT LOOKING AT THEM THINKING THAT THEY ARE A SPOILER PHOTO.
ADVENTURE BOYS FOREVER...!!!
I have included my one of a kind Geocache Poem with this log for future readers to enjoy.
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
I am currently writing more detailed logs than usual. This is because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author" Badge. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to write an average of one hundred words or more in each Found It log. As of 9th November 2020 my average was 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After 7600 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 160 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.

**Today:**
*ALL CACHES signed as " **AB!** " for Adventure Boys! which today included Loci612, DSD and Sui_001 to save time and space in logs, and also dated 21/6 at minimum.*
With a day off work, myself, DSD and Sui_001 decided on a daytrip to tackle a small section of the "TRLT" series, and surrounding caches. We left Canberra at 6am and got back at 6pm sharp making it a 12 hour round trip! I managed to bag 70 finds for the day, a huge amount can't remember the last time I got that many without being at a mega event anyway!
It was a very successful day, with only one DNF from memory and a couple others skipped due to having along strings of them. My favourite part was driving up Mount Macquarie with spectacular views! We visited towns such as Cowra, Woodstock, Lyndhurst, Carcoar, Blayney, Barry and Neville.
Thanks to all CO's!

"Food was cold, the burrito was so poorly wrapped that it looks like it was just scrunched up in a ball and it fell apart whilst trying to eat it. There were no serviettes to clean up the mess created by the explosion the bad wrapping created. There was too much garlic sauce that made it even messier to clean up. I felt that the burrito artist had very little idea what an actual burrito looks like and how it's meant to function in the whole fast-food convenience world. The one saving grace was that it actually tasted like a burrito. I will not be ordering from this store again for quite some time."
Do you think you're living an ordinary life? You are so mistaken it's difficult to even explain. The mere fact that you exist makes you extraordinary. The odds of you existing are less than winning the lottery, but here you are. Are you going to let this extraordinary opportunity pass?
At that moment he had a thought that he'd never imagine he'd consider. "I could just cheat," he thought, "and that would solve the problem." He tried to move on from the thought but it was persistent. It didn't want to go away and, if he was honest with himself, he didn't want it to.
She patiently waited for his number to be called. She had no desire to be there, but her mom had insisted that she go. She's resisted at first, but over time she realized it was simply easier to appease her and go. Mom tended to be that way. She would keep insisting until you wore down and did what she wanted. So, here she sat, patiently waiting for her number to be called.

Tftc Scenic Routers, another day touring this pretty area on the road less traveled. Thanks to all involved in creating and maintaining this series.
#492. On a geocaching day with meals 5. This is cache find #21 for the day. Thanks for the series and TFTC!
#5568- caching with thomo31 in the area. As we looked two dirt bike riders zoomed past. A short hunt and we had CIH. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Another short segment of the TRLT. And a beautifully scenic one. Didn't see another car or person all afternoon and all caches attempted were found and generally in good condition. Not always simple drive-bys and often took a bit of effort to find.
TFTC and for placing and maintaining this wonderful series Scenic Routers.

Spent a couple of days on the road doing a pre-lockdown pandemic caching run through the central tablelands of NSW. With cold nights and beautiful days I headed for the TRLT (The Road Less Travelled) and the scattering of caches in the towns nearby.
The recent wet weather made the roads slippery at times and many of the caches had taken on some level of water... Thanks to all the CO's for your hides.

Final day of our long weekend to try and finish off the remaining TRLT series with Rapidlywild. Probably not the best time to go with rain and snow forecast, but we have never let the weather stop us before. So packed all the winter woollies, thermals, gloves and beanies and off we went.
We nearly got all the elements over the weekend even in one day snow, rain, fog, sun and wind but there was also some pleasant weather thrown in there for good measure. Roads in some places were a little hair raising but the trusty 4WD got us through safe and sound.
With permission from some of the cache owners we replaced saturated logs and on a few occasions caches.
All in all a good and successful long weekend away, lovely looking countryside and views along the way.
Thanks for the hide and adding to the fun Scenic Routers and thanks for another fun filled weekend away RWLD.

Last month, FFLL and I begun the tackle against the TRLT series and managed to get a huge chunk done. Well, we decided we wanted to get it finished so with snow on the forecast, we bit the bullet and packed the thermals and set off to have some fun. We had rain, fog, frost and even snow but it was an awesome weekend for sure We reached out to the cache owners of the ones we had to complete to inform them of our intentions and also advise that we were happy to complete replacement maintenance if required, so we came across a few that after extensive searches, we didnt locate, so we replaced as approved by the CO. A large number of replacement log sheets left along the way also to assist with the caches with soggy log books.
Lots of places visited across the weekend, including lots of old churches and old cemeteries across the land.
Thanks for the hide Scenic Routers And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

Amazing how the sheep are just wondering around the road here. A ewe with 2 lambs just stopped in the middle of the road and let the lambs suckle on her udders.
Thanks Scenic Routers.

We did some of the TRLT caches a while back and it was great to be back doing some more. Love the different styles of hides, some creative, some not and the quirky covers we discovered on some. The countryside is looking awesome and we enjoyed the rural locations and wonderful views. Thanks to Scenic Routers for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

We Have set up camp at the showgrounds to cpmplete another section of the RLT.

We did a very long morning touring the many country roads, very dry & dusty.

Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching. Today we journey to find more TRLT plus caches to the south west.
I really enjoyed driving along this part of the road, along the top of the valley below. We did spot the tower above the cache - see photo. Do we get to that soon?

This was our sixth and last day of seeking out caches on this mega long geocaching trail. The weather today was once again perfect, with hardly any wind and lots of nice warm sunshine. We did end up having to miss out a big chunk of the trail as just before GC7TRQ6 a halt was put to our progress on finding the forest road closed to all vehicles due to some very active logging going on (we had suspected as much on the way to the forest having become very aware of a large number of massive logging trunks both entering and leaving the forest). We therefore had to turn back and miss out the next big loop, instead picking up the trail again at GC7V5KD. Never mind, all worked out at the end of the day as we then got to do a chunk of the trail that we hadn't expected to have time to travel along. Once again we loved the scenery and the truly beautiful countryside the roads less travelled took us through. Who knows, maybe on a future visit to Australia we might get to travel along the currently "not yet found" sections of the trail? This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache at this great viewpoint and greetings from Zimbabwe

OCW frazerdaze and marj01. House sitting at White Rock for a week has provided an opportunity to do some geocaching runs around Bathurst - mainly TRLT series indispersed with a number of trads and puzzle caches. During the day we saw lovely scenery, lots of sheep and cattle, a few foxes and one deer in the forestry area. We even encountered fire persons doing a burn off which included two of the caches we were chasing. Please excuse the generic logs and thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment. For expediency all logs were signed OMF.

Thank you so very very much for this awesome series that is showing us around with minimal bitumen. Absolutely loving it. There was water coming up out of the middle of the road here so guessing there may be a spring. The views were spectacular today. Fields of emerald green broken by the yellow of the canola. Beautiful. Thank you for the cache.
It was time for a big weekend caching, so I was joined by Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for two days to tackle the new TRLT caches just East of Bathurst, This part of the trip went smoothly. I also managed to squeeze in a few more on the day after whilst traveling between the rain on Monday.
Thanks.

When we saw the new sections of TRLT Series published we made them a priority to do asap. Having cached around the region many times and knowing how beautiful it is we were really looking forward to it. Drove up Friday night and we camped at the Trunkey Creek Showground. Yesterday we found over 80 of the new ones then went back to camp. This morning after packing up we headed off to try for the rest of them. This was the next of many caches. Quick find once at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache and we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Scenic Routers !! We appreciate your contribution to this great series !

Completed the Mount Macquarie to Tallwood section of the TRLT. Good day for it. All quiet out here on the roads. Signed and replaced. Caches all good. Thanks for all the new caches in the area.
Life is still taking us on less travelled roads as we follow this new series of caches. It was a fun day today, except for the gale force "breeze", but we kept on until we reached the end of the caches on the selection list. Each found cache had its log signed and we were pleased to be near the lop of the list for nearly all of them. Thanks go to Scenic Routers for this contribution to the caching game and we are giving a favourite point for the caches in this section of the series.
