Heading south and homewards to Sydney after a short casual geocaching visit to the Mid North Coast. No luck for us today although we gave it a good go. Enjoyed being close to the ocean which was a bit stirred up this morning. Cheers Gaztek
Great hide, Log almost full, yes you have to be on the right angle to see it, thanks for the hint, TFTC
Found after about 10 minutes and much previous log reading. Can't believe this has been here 6 years and I live in Lake Csthie. Been putting it off and off. Anyway, pretty muggle free at 4pm on this lovely afternoon before knocking off for the day. Thanks for the cache and cheers from Browngang
Tftc Paul and Lou travelling with Savannah from The Blue Mountains NSW.Weather a bit crazy, GPS off a bit, but the clue does work.
Outnabout for some solo caching. Great views here. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC Tatt2squaredFor anyone making Geo plans, do yourself a favour and visit Australias only current Geotour at Ballarat while it lasts: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/ballarat-victoria
Find#5809Nice hiding place What a nice road trip to Sydney and surroundsThanks for the cache
300!!!! What a great view at a perfect time of day, tftc!!!! Thanks for joining me for the adventure Portstevo
Feel like I lucked in on this one.Read the last post (and the hint) of course and found this sneaky hide immediately !Yes the gps was showing 7 meters out at GZ.Log is super tattered and heading towards full, probably needs an update by the end of the yearTFTC
We have been staying on the coast at Harrington to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
We are now heading north and grabbing a few more around this lovely coastal area.
After the last log, I wasn't holding much hope to find this but I was happy to take a bit of a look and it is definetly there, nowhere near the fenced of area. It was a tricky container to find but spotted from the right direction.
Thanks Tatt2squared for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

The area was cordoned off for maintenance by council, so I couldn’t get in to have a look
Found with nissan65. Thankyou for the cache and your contribution to geo caching. Cache in good order. Well hidden
The lookout area that we assume the cache is on, is closed to the public.
Have messaged the owner.

Visiting the folks from WA and definitely need to catch a few caches while in the area. Beautiful spot, not many muggles around early on a Sunday morning so had the area to ourselves.
This one had us stumped for a little bit but pretty soon had the prize in hand!
Thank you for placing and maintaining Cathie Beach Views Tatt2squared!

After initially searching the wrong area, we expanded our search area and spotted quickly. Log looks like may have been wet in the past and was a little ratty but still usable. May recommend tweezers to retrieve the logbook next time, sorry! Found with Lauries4. TFTC
Finally after multiple attwmpts my keen eye daughter found it. Very proud.
Not near coords but still here.

Excellent weather for muggleless caching... raining, windy and water everywhere. The beach was deserted and not a single person was seen during the search. Most likely the reason we found the cache fairly quickly. But finding it was one thing, getting it another. TFTC Tatt2squared.
Couldn't leave the others to find the cache without being a part of it.

Returned to this location today to avenge my previous DNF of a few days ago. Armed with additional clue, the cache was quickly located. Why didn't I look there in the first place!!
Now to sign the log, dammit, my pen has broken and I only have the case. Back to the car to grab another before replacing the cache and continuing on our journey homeward.

Took forever, had to ask the CO for a hint! Clever hide! Took a while even with the extra hint. Found it south of the GZ.
Now that the restrictions have eased around the state, time to go caching again. Stay safe everyone... remember to enjoy the little things.
Disabling until socially acceptable to continue with caching. Stay home everyone, stay safe.
We followed the hint after failing at GZ and not finding it there, returned to GZ to try harder.
I have to admit that we were sprung looking for this about 5m from the cache and told were it was. We were all looking in the wrong place. The new Geocacher walking her dogs and we invited her to the Event. She didn't turn up.
Clever.

Thought we drop in for a quick find, but No, seached our GZ's then widen the search, even checked the geotrail, with 3 sets eyes, we were blind. A new geocacher asked us were we geocachers, she point in the a direction, then Bruce made a quick find, very sneaky hide, had a nice chat with her. Signed log and replaced. Thanks to Tatt2squared
Nice outlook, tricky to find. Thanks for the cache. Fav point for the great view.
Well... As I was driving out the car park, Who should I pass but the CO. Hahaha.
Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction. Turned out I was looking in the wrong place. Watching the CO retrieve it, I wondered if I would still have ended up with a DNF had I tried looking there. It was well hidden.
Well done guys. It was great to (briefly) catch up again. I hope you are all doing okay with the fires in your area.

As it was windy and cool the beach was deserted. This made looking for the cache easier without any interruptions. The looking before finding this cache took some time. Searched where my GPS said but no luck, so shifted south by 8 meter and continued. Still no luck and with some new work having been done recently, I was thinking that it had disappeared. But with yet another look at previously searched areas the persistence was rewarded. Although still had trouble retrieving it once found, but eventually succeeded. Thanks for placing this cache and bringing me to this location.
This was my closest Detective in the 'Museum Mystery' game cache, and taken a while to get here, and then another 10+ minutes to track the well-hidden cache down.
Found about 8m SW of GZ, by using the hint - GAFF3, at 1450.
Logging on the mobile, so I can see where I need to go to next.
Thanks Tatt2squared.
Will edit and add Trackables brought through when at home.

Used the GPSr to get started with no luck after a while, then consulted the hint and Geowife zeroed in on it. Sourced a tool and had it signed before long.
What a lovely spot, TFTC

Wow that was tricky. Had to call in a Fav from CO to help as 2x phones had us everywhere! Must remember to not forget GPS next time we go out. Tfth tatt2squared. Lovely pretty beach.
We decided that a couple more caches were in order before it was too dark to see clearly and this was the next closest. We were unable to locate the cache where the GPSr was pointing so we looked at the hint and realised that it must be elsewhere. Thankfully the lo angle of the sun allowed us to locate the cache quite quickly once we changed where we were looking.
Thanks for the hide Tatt2squared.

We spent a long time looking here as the GPS seemed to be a little off. In the end, with the help of the hint we managed to locate the sneaky little bugger.

relatively quick find.. thanks for the hint.
had to find one up here at lake cathie as "your licence at work" beat me.
a muggle caught me and started asking me what i was doing.. turns out she was a police officer and thought someone had left me drugs. i had to explain the what geocaching was. she was amazed and was so relieved to know the truth. i dont think she a threat to destroy the cache.

Pulled up for lunch on our way To Port Macquarie and noticed a few caches were in the area quick find signed and replaced tftc
Today we headed south to find the a few caches we had not looked for previously. An overcast day ment very few people about, luckily for us as we spent some time at most locations searching for them.
This took some time to locate, searched in going up, but later read this was not the right area. Eventually spotted the container, found a natural object that was lying around to encourage it from the hide.
Found numerous caches types & an assortment of sizes in some great locations.

Having come down for the multi nearby this was close so headed over. The GPSr said one way while the description suggested another and with two of us looking the hide was eventually found. We added our names and re hid. TFTC
Found it. I used a different GPS and had no problems. Once we got into the correct location the geowife spotted it. However we needed a tool to get it out and an extracter tool to get at the log.
Found while visiting the beach. A short consult with the CO and a sneaky hide was found. TFTC A favourite point for the location.
The cache is gone.... we have placed a new one one... just got to get home to update the co-ords.
Found at 10:30 AM GAFF1.
Another fantastic spot to watch the surfers on what had to be the best waves we have seen along this coast.
A tricky hide that was very well camouflaged - but eagle eyed c-pprass was onto it in a flash
Thanks Tatt2squared.

Great to see some new caches popping up in the local area, our initial plan was to save them for the International Geocaching Day souvenir, but our curiosity got the better of us.
After having no issues with muggles at the previous caches our luck changed, true to the description there were muggles everywhere, so after waiting them out which seemed like an eternity we began our search.
After a few minutes something caught our eye, a very well concealed cache, worth a FP
Thanks for the cache
