Goodnight. Farewell you've done your time. Clear the map for someone else to have an opportunity.
Heading north for another New South Wales family holiday. This time for a week with the entire family. Means the car is fully loaded and no room for ladders and other TOTTs.
Start of Day 2 and still heading North. This had an attribute I need for a challenge, so it was a quick stop to collect and stretch the legs. Son2 found this quickly and it is a bit wet but still signable.
Thanks for the cache Throsby on Church

Night find at 2126 on route to Sydney. It took awhile for Geo-Rabbit to zone in on this one. Good hint. With the log signed, the cache was placed as found ready for the next geo-adventurers.
Thanks goes to the CO for bringing us to this location. Cheers.

Finalf29 and I decided on another Goulburn raid (and some more curry). This time the weather was a lot nicer and we managed an Adventure Lab, multi, lots of trads and a lovely bush walk. Thanks to all the CO's for a wonderful afternoon spent with my "bestest" geobuddy.
Grabbed a couple on the way home... tried "just one more" a couple of times on Finalf29
The hint helped. Thanks

Thanks Throsbyonchurch

On my way to Sydney for a medical appointment, I sought out some geocaches to break the journey. This cache was a straightforward find with the assistance of the hint, being close to the coordinates. Thank you Throsbyonchurch for installing and maintaining this cache.

The sound of the trickling water here made me need to go, you know? As soon as I was back in the car I was fine (without having “gone”). Loved seeing the water flowing through here, such a peaceful sound. As for the cache, got it, once I sorted my sense of direction out - had the right idea but initially in the wrong location.
Travelling up the Hume, ensconced in smoke from the bush fires, I stopped for a rest at the nearby rest stop. As I headed off I located this and signed the log. Tftc.
Today is a mission to get the dog to relatives in Wollongong so we can head out of town for Christmas. Although there are plenty of caches I've not collected on this road, today my aim is to collect pre-solved puzzles and those that fit into a series of "spell the month" challenge caches - this one covers a missing December cache.
Good spot to water and wee the dog and time to find a cache.

Off on a geomission to earn the rest of the Mystery at the Museum souvenirs by grabbing a swag of caches and attend an event at Marulan. Freezing cold but thermals and thick clothing took care of that!
Swung by this one for the quick park and grab on the way to an event at Marulan. Cold fingers meant it took a little to get the log out. Lovely area around here!

#296 On my way home from Sheepvention in Hamilton, VIC and stopped by this one for a quick break. TFTC
I spent the day working on clearing some of my 50km radius. There were a handful of caches in the Marulan area, so I decided to venture out this way. All caches found in good condition. Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.
Thankfully the hint lead me right to the cache and it was under the first place I checked. TFTC

Trekked to GZ (according to my GPS directions) which had me going under the fence (and ending up with some mud on me). Couldn’t see anything then looked at the hint - only thing that seemed to fit meant going back under the fence. Turns out I was a good 10 metres away! Log signed (eventually). Another find on the way to the geomuster.
After camping at Gunning for the night we set off for the Wollongong mega with ilook4geo, but had to pick up just a few caches along the way, of course. This was one of them that was found successfully. The log in each cache was signed with two more names before being put back as found. Then the drive continued and we reached the event late morning. Thank you to each of the CO's that placed the caches that were found today.
Found while on the way to the Wollongong mega with goingplaces2. Picked out a random selection of caches to be found along the route we were taking. No problem with any of them. It was a fun day's travel. Thank you to each CO for making the day a fun one.

On our way to the Oz Geomuster 2019 - The Gong! We left early on Friday morning, traveling along the Hume all the way to Wollongong. We found a few caches, here and there, along the trip to break up the drive.
We were getting tired now - so we started to find more and more caches. Being a little ways from home, they were more frequent so we skipped some - we'd never get to Wollongong at this pace! Thanks for the cache Throsbyonchurch.

Day four of myself and MrSmith00's 3rd (almost) annual geocaching trip.
A confluence of outside forces had us head to Canberra for the first ever test match at Manuka oval, rather than the more extensive Adelaide journey.
Days 1,2 & 3 saw a total of 24 finds as well as two entertaining days of cricket.

#8914 - 11:35; I was headed north with Sol de lune to attend an event in the Hawkesbury and we stopped off for a few caches along the way. The day was very hot and peaked at more than 40 degrees, so the chosen caches for today were all located close to roads. This was one of the drive bys we collected on our way. TFTC Throsbyonchurch

This weekend is the annual camping trip to Wingello State Forest 'Lets Wing it at Wingello' and is thew first time I have been free to go. It was a fun break and a nice cool damp evening to break up the unrelenting VERY HOT weather we have in Canberra all week. I have done a cache further up this road and was happy to get this one much closer to the highway.
Thanks.

Rapidlywild had to head to Sydney to collect a new canopy for her Triton and wanted some company, so as FFLL #1 is still off work, she decided to tag along for the ride. After dropping off the car, we collected a few around the area. The drive home was broken up with a few other caches, this was one of them, our last one which we found quickly. TFTC Throsbyonchurch
A journey to Prestons, NSW was planned last minute in order to collect the new canopy for the Ute, and as it was going to take them a couple hours to fit it, I decided to check the maps for some caches. Fortunately for me, there is a whole series of caches in this area that could keep me entertained for the time. I decided to reach out to FFLL#1 to see if she was interested in a drive north and a few caches and she agreed to come along to keep me company
En route home now after getting the canopy and picking up find # 9000. This one was a short detour off the highway and took a few minutes to locate. Once signed, it was time to head home, thanks for coming along and keeping me company FFLL #1

So grateful for this find tonight. I swear the Zombie apocalypse has hit Goulburn. Car parks and full and there are shoppers everywhere. Eftpos machines are breaking down across town making lines even longer and someone ran into the back of me in the maccas drivethru!!
Time to get out of town and head camping!
At GZ I manage to scare a giant hare, a black kangaroo, and a rabbit. Then watched a crow be chased by 6 angry little birds. Maybe the apocalypse has already begun to spread.. beware!
Thanks for the great cache.

Yup, it's a cache. Interesting choice of container in this sort of setting and hide, but a quick find nonetheless down a road I haven't been on before which is a bonus! Thanks

**The Day:**
Day 1 of an extended weekend caching trip, and a family member's 50th up in Sydney!
Started off from Canberra at 7am and reached my accomodation in Moss Vale at 6pm. Then cached for another hour between 7-8pm! Today consisted of a few short stops to grab new + missed caches on the way to the Southern Highlands region, and then a big sweep of country roads and towns, picking up every cache I could and using some specific caches to guide me around. Visited some excellent locations today and also found some very creative caches! Found a total of 78 caches for the day!
Thanks to all the CO's! See individual log about each cache above ^^

A busy weekend of activites interspersed with caching. The day started with 6 caches requiring a kayak, finishing with today's event. Then it was caching my way to a 5 hour night rogaine. Slept in the back of the car then up early caching my way to Kowen Forest for some MTB orienteering, followed by some caching by mountain bike.
