Out for the day to introduce some muggles to the world of geocaching. This one was a little tricky to locate but I eventually spotted this clever hide that impressed the muggles. Tftc Kloof73 ️
Tuftc. Beautiful place and super smart cache. Got a couple of nice photos too. I did need a TOTT to get it though. Log is full and a message to the cache owner will be sent.
TFTC from the Jester-kiwi and the Princess +
Getting to this one proved that a multi-tool is invaluable. The log was chock-a-block so we'll message the CO to replace it...

Had me fooled for a while but then noticed something slightly different. Nice spot. Tftc
A very clever cache and the perfect clue. As I sat and pondered the muggles around and wondering where to begin, “inspiration “ revealed itself and it ended up being an easy find.

I have been coming to the nearby coffee shop almost daily the last few weeks and this was my first time down at GZ! Fortunately there was only a few people on the nearby jetty whilst I scurried about taking inspiration. I found something else which appeared magnetic but checking with a previous finder that was not “it”. On further inspection it was located but couldn’t extract it . After a bit more wiggling and a stressful call from my boss, I got the extra to get it out lol . Sadly by then the coffee shop closed . Note to self for next time!!! Tftc
I was asked if I would like to go caching and I jumped at the offer to join with Hatsoff RoddyC, Snickersallen and Grannysmith47 so we headed towards Durack and Calamvale for our fun. That was very sneaky as I had my hand on it and didn't realise that it was the cache and I couldn't get the inspiration that I needed. Hatsoff eventually made the find that we wanted. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Yesterday, we decided the weather would be good today, so a quick shoutout by hatzofff, and we have a hunting team of 5 today.
Sneaky. Already been scoured before hatzofff found it.

Out today to continue a personal challenge I have set myself. Being locked up at home for too long, I needed to get out and see to beyond my front gate, so a drive to forest lake was the go. With a child at home who also needed to get out for some scenic adventure the lake at forest lake seemed like a good option.
We had enough time to grab three caches in the area before our plans were rearranged for us. We had to drive back for school pickup duties of the other child, bugger.
It was a nice walk around the lake collecting caches and enjoying the quiet of the area. Thanks for placing these around here, a couple had full logs and one was a little damp.
Another that little miss Charli couldn't see, wow back to beginners school for you, lol. i do love having her with me tho.

Very good hide... took us 2 attempts and an hour of scrutinising past logs to work it out.. and you're definitely going to need some TOTT
A bit mushy in places after 3 days of flooding but nature is quick to restore itself indeed.
What a tricky little blighter this one was ... almost missed it.
Nicely placed and easy enough to retrieve with just a bit of a wiggle.
Log nice and dry.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Ok, nice one. Very sneaky. Patience and persistence paid off in extracting the log. Everything is in good shape. Great hide. TFTC
I think GZ would be the perfect place to sit and quietly watch a beautiful golden sunset. It was afternoon when we did our loop around the lake, but a little too early to stop and watch the sunset.
With a little searching we soon had the cleverly camouflaged container in our hands and the log signed.
Thanks Kloof73

Today was another drive to the southside of Brisbane. Main targets where old caches. What I need is 2006 or older.
I was back here to find some more caches from Crew 153.
Later today I meet up with The Green Geckos, Muggle65 and Mummy Bear and her cubs to get the final for Love/Hate series. Yippee
Had a great day out.
I got 24 finds for today the breakdown was. 9 traditional, 2 mystery, multi, letterbox and 3 adventure labs with 11 waypoints.
Sorry for the generic log

Out and about caching today with joojoo57, IolantheK and T-Tech. Found many caches and thank you to all CO's for placing them there. We were successful in finding them all. TFTC
T-Tech and I spent the day with joojoo57 and Richmond Lad. We had a plan to tackle 12 caches and an AL in the area around Forest Lake. Happily there are now smileys everywhere!
The traditional caches around Forest Lake were done in conjunction with the AL and its bonus cache, thanks to joojoo's meticulous planning! Loved being in this area, and that was a very neat hide. T-Tech spotted it and I had to move to see it. Nicely done. TFTC, Kloff73.

A very clever hide that really had us searching until something was noticed that was a little different. Thanks and a FP given.
Out for a day of caching with joojoo57, Richmond Lad, IolantheK [^]
I have come to realise from IolantheK that joojoo57 is a good organiser and today was
no exception as we progressed from cache to cache with no DNFs to boot
Interleaving a Adventure Lab Cache with other Traditionals we finished up the AL [^]
We had a bit of difficulty finding this one (looking in all the usual places) instead of thinking outside the box.
Cache found, dry and in good condition [^]

i decided to come out with my bike to ride around this lake and collect some smileys and had a great time. There was only one section where a magpie kept on swooping and actually hitting my helmet before i managed to get a branch to hold up. I was thankful for the helmet. Once GZ i did exactly what the hint told me and after a little look i spotted this cache . What a clever cache. Thank you for all the fun
Fount this cache yesterday but didn't have my geo pack with me and a few too many muggles around so just did a walk around lake. Come back tonight though to retrieve it, bit later in the evening this time, less muggles but more mozzies. Signed the log, replaced cache and did my walk. TFTC #35
Lots of muggles around. Eventually spotted something out of place. Thanks for the cache
Took a nice stroll with geokid_tobias and geokid_madison. A lone pelican meandered by, pausing to check us out whilst we made our quick find.
Struggled to find another Kloof cache. Did a thorough search here too. Will try again
Came back again after finding the other cache. This one didn’t take long at all. Didn’t write in log due to how small it was but took photo for proof. TFTC! Pays to be inspired
TFTC I’ve run this lake plenty of times but not often just sat and stared out. Nice challenge. Thank you
Made an escape in the middle of nearby dance competitions to grab a cache. I thought I was going to have to give up on this one, but a bit of persistent wiggles and I eventually had the cache in hand. TFTC!
Very quick find . You will need pointy nose tweezers to get the log out . Lucky I carry some in my bag all the time haha. Thank you
Lid was not screwed on but managed to fix it. Couldn’t get paper out to sign though. Will send photo to co
Came to Forest Lake for parkrun, arrived a little early from Toowoomba so went for a wander to grab this one. Great little hide and TFTC Kloof73
Easily found but a struggle to retrieve. To the car for assistance. Retrieved and signed
Took the opportunity to have a lovely walk around the lake this morning. Too many muggles around on first pass but by the time I came back around the coast was clear. Found cache quite easily and had the right tool with me. Great cache!
I do love a cache that is placed in muggle central and in plain sight, but is easily retrievable. [^] I was pleasantly surprised to see GZ vacant given the number of muggles wandering around the lake this morning, so I quickly swooped before I lost the spot to someone.
In position, I immediately spotted the container and was pleased I had come armed with the right tool to extract the log. With that out and in hand, I added my name and tucked everything back as found. One more cache left to turn F/L back into all smileys.
Cheers Kloof73.

I thought thought surely thats not it! Sure enough, some pulling later. Lovely time of day
Found with tic toc. We had the cache in hand quickly but then spent 5 minutes trying to extract the log. Eventually I went back to the car for the appropriate TOTT. We really enjoyed being here just as the sun was setting.
Found yesturday! Sat and was speaking to my mum on a video call about how I was sure I wouldnt find it. Looked down and there it was. I almost passed out I was so excited
Came to the lake for a quick walk and a product info (Arbonne) meeting. Rain sent everyone scurrying, but nit me ... there was a cache nearby I had to find.
TFTC (couldn’t open it, but I have photo evidence of find)

As suggested, I sat down and inspired, expired, inspired, etc. Gotta keep breathing! Found the cache but couldn't get it open, so I retreated to the car for tools of the trade - jack hammer, angle grinder, stillson wrench, oxy-acetylene set, wheelbarrow, and anything else that would fit in the wheelbarrow. Then opening the thing was easy, and I didn't even damage it. Added to the log - nearly needed binocular microscope to write on the minute log. Replaced the cache, loaded up all the tools and retreated. TFTC, Kloof73.
Quick find by karicka. I was still enjoying the view when he retrieve the log.
TFTC Kloof73. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Sat down right next to the cache when first arriving at GZ. Took a couple of laps up and down the pathway to decide to look there again. Quite easily logged without too much obvious activity, even with all the muggles.

I spotted it but dismissed it... then came back and opened it... only to find no logsheet!
Luckily, I had a receipt in my phone I could sacrifice part of, so I did what I had to do. TFTC in a great spot.

Found with mnance101 and bennyboppers today, very tricky to pull out and get log out but managed to sign in as tm×3. Tftc
1.05pm. Finished the walk and a few moments to spot this one.

Wonder no more, it looks like it's me!
On one of those evening wanders picking up this n that where safely possible and this was a doable. Parked up and had a slow wander to pick the target and ensconced myself with a view over the lake in the dark. Still had to be very stealthy as there were muggles jogging past and a line up of them in the car park overlooking GZ.
I'd picked my target well and found the cache easily enough but gee, it was a job extracting it! Did get it out after going through my selection of TOTT and signed it EC1. Luckily getting it back was quicker and easier so I can move on.

We took a seat as suggested and were ‘inspired’. Very good!
Little fingers had no trouble getting the log.
Thanks for this cache Kloof73 - loved the walk. Beaut area.

After strolling down to GZ I looked around & saw something that look out of place. Pulled on it but it didn’t come free.. hmm maybe it’s not the cache? Then I tried twisting & it became clear it WAS the cache after all! Noticed that extracting the log might be a challenge, however luckily I had an extraction tool in the car. Quick stroll up & back, signed the log & was on my way Enjoyed this one & was my favourite find of the day so it deserves a FP from us TFTC
Found @ 8:05am after doing the Forest Lake parkrun
Went straight to GZ and spotted the cache. Hardest part was extracting the log without my usual caching tools!
Thanks Kloof73.

Wow this was wayyy more difficult than your other one by the lake. After a failed attempt yesterday geohusband found it today.
Found on return with wifey.
I think the coordinates were a little off, and had us looking in the wrong place again for a long time.
After spotting something a bit unusual, wifey identified it, and we triumphantly signed the log.
