Unfortunately it looks like the leevie bank built during the most recent floods is here to stay and as a result the hide location isn't as it once was so we are going to archive this cache.
Thanks to everyone who has visited and said hello to Alice and her friends.

Wow this was fun and muddy, thought the car was gonna get bogged so we walked some of the way, easy find thank you
Found It!
I'm glad this road is dry today, would be very muddy in the wet! A quick find as the camels watched on.

Love the camels! Kids didn’t like the smell though! Breeze was blowing the wrong way hahaha!
The last day in Mildura with BettyBoo3747.
We uncovered the deadly treadlies and road along the river picking up the occasional cache.
Some beautiful views along the bike track, and some good caches too.
The geo-doggies enjoyed their runs and traveling along in the bike trailer too.
Well, I had to lookup this song on the web (now I wish I hadn't)
I had not heard of Alice the Camel before.
Lots of camels here today, but they only had one hump (of course!)
Thanks, Robmc.

#18746. Our last day in Mildura on a glorious autumn day. Touring on our bicycles with the doggies in their trailer and enjoying a great ride along the trails near the river between Merbein and Apex Park in Mildura. So beautiful to be enjoying the river scenery and gathering some caches on the way.
As Rob mentioned we had never heard of Alice the Camel but after some on-line research we now know about her. There were at least 7 Alices here today, one was very interested in us wondering what we were up to.
Thanks ww2_nut

And there are the camels.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Spending a few days in Mildura, joined by the rest of the Goldy clan for a family getaway.
We've been coming here since our first visit in 2008, it's a Goldy family favourite so I'm excited for the opportunity to find a few geocaches here and in some of the surrounding towns.
I'm also looking forward to experiencing some different hides in another state, as all my finds so far have been in South Australia.
I won't be able to get to all the caches due to having other plans with family, family always comes first.
So a high majority of caches on the "to be found" list are ones where I can learn local history and ones that are relatively quick and easy.
I've been primarily eyeing off the turtle series geoart and adventure labs.
I could only take the car so far due to the road conditions.
So I set off on foot for the last half of the journey to GZ.
Cache was a quick find with all in good condition.
Final find of the journey.
Thanks to all COs for taking me places I would have never known existed.
Put my signature in the log book and returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Signed as "P.Goldy"
Thanks to ww2_nut for this cache.

Found during a road trip via Wentworth, Menindie Lakes, Wilcannia, Cobar, Bourke and Cunnamulla to Charleville and back over 10 days, camping out at some great spots along the way. Met up with e.gregory1 at Bourke and we spent the next four days caching around Cunnamulla and out to Eulo, Yowah and Charleville, before e.gregory headed up to Townsville and I made my way southwards towards home. I camped out next to the Murray at Merbein Common last night and spent the morning caching around Mildura before heading home on the last day of the trip. Thanks for the cache ww2_nut!

Popped in to check on this one today. Some space remains in logbook. Few dodgy items removed.. Please don't put face masks in geocaches!!
Easy find although gps is 4-5m off. Also love the content of the little box
Good one

I'm in Mildura for a few days, so what better to do than locate some geocaches. I roamed along the river today, and I logged this along the way. Thanks ww2_nut.

After a few days in Mildura with Happy pants, Happy Feet, The Empire, omegaman1971 and Rebel Acts it was time to grab a coffee and grab the last few caches before heading for home. It was a great time away with nice weather and good company. A good time was had by all.
SO - with the prerequisite coffee and car fueled, we headed back to grab the few remaining caches in this area.
Thanks for the cache ww2_nut. Appreciate your efforts.
Stamped log and returned as found.

My last day here in Mildura! After saying goodbye to all of my caching mates - Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet, Happy Pants and Rebel Acts, it was time to start to make my way home. Buuuut there are a few more caches to find in town before I head off. I also needed some snacks for the drive! Thanks for the cache ww2_nut.

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. There was many other hides discovered, with some really great containers and hides in the area.
No camel about today but a quick find at GZ.
Thanks ww2_nut for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Hello Alice. Thanks for leaving this cache here. If I had an apple, I'd give it to you.
Geocache. Sanitise. Repeat. A quick find with frmen1, after watching a car suspiciously do a u-turn at gz. Checked log for a finder for today and sent a msg. They turned the car around and came back. A quick socially distanced chat and best wishes were made. Alice didn't want to say hello tonight. Our covid permitted evening walk. TFTC
We got carried away singing the camel song and drove way past... eventually realised and worked our way back. TFTC
Probably should of searched for this one a day or two ago on Wednesday when it was hump day. Boom Boom! ohh such a Dad joke but I'm a Dad so its ok. Found with out too much trouble as l cached out along the river this morning. Thanks ww2 nut for the hide.
Tftc. Our 100th find! Thanks! Gorgeous afternoon after stormy weather. Nice, easy find.
