The cache has been taken over by someone sleeping rough. VERY rough apparently. The place is trashed and a complete shambles. Its not safe to have a cache there. The cache will be paused until the area is safe to visit again.Apologies! B^M
Yes. Your hide was even in the news last night. Sad really, so many doing it tough.
This area is trashed and caravan is in the midst of it. Didnt feel safe as the GZ appeared to be in amongst the residents things.
Found during a caching foray around the greater Gawler area for the morning before heading home through the hills. This spot has been totally trashed with litter everwhere. I think I found just the lid of the container amongst the garbage. Thanks for the cache BritishMeat!
Feeling hungry and decided to wet the appetite with doing this trailOut with Weredunn4 munching through this series.TFTC SL
Tackling the Meat trail with Wayne APN this afternoon. A fun track to traverse. Cache found and log signed.
TFTCOut with geo hubby Animal62 on this the last day of 2023, collecting a few smiley faces for our maps to mark the end of the year.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - British Meat [^]
Found! Not even 9am I was amazed to find I was the second finder of the day! TFTC
Clocking up cache finds for the September Wheel of Challenges, whilst working toward other challenge goals and milestones!
I sighted this cache upon arriving. I went to commence walking towards GZ, however read the previous log. Brown snake. Being on my own, that was a big NOPE!
After the CO came to my aid for The Meat Trail - SMILE cache, followed by taking me to a few other caches of theirs, they dropped me back to my car, and they pointed me in the right direction of this cache. I sussed out the pathway I could take to get to it, and sure enough I deemed it snake free enough Cache retrieved and log signed

Out and about finding caches for this months Wheel of Challenges souvenir.OMG... it's exactly 10 years since the start of geocaching for me. I think there is some awesome art under bridges, hidden in tunnels and along concrete walls. I'm a fan Thanks for placing/maintaining caches for our enjoyment .
Having started the meat trail some time ago it was time to do a few more while in the area, managed another five of the trail today for dark clouds loomed on the horizon, quick find on this one today

I found this one at 14:51. I'm sure this would have been better if I had ridden a bike, but at least Luna got out for a bit of a walk and a sniff around
Cache WILL be back up and running in 3 weeks time. Everything is ready to do a full trail makeover.....
Cache is in need of major maintenance. Not sure when i can get out there but i will try and get it fixed over the next few weeks. B^M
Thank you another in the meat trail completely rather randomly. cache no 601 for me.
While staying nearby in Gawler Belt we wandered along the rail corridor on a beautiful, cool January morning.
As others have said the cache was trashed so after our walk we drove the car back and added a small cache with a new log book and hid it under the upside down old container
Many thanks for the hide BritishMeat

Easy find. Achieved our 4 seeks this morning, shame we didn't find 1. Will be back to try it. The sun is out, the walk is great, why wouldn't we smile. TFTC
Doing these in a haphazard order; this is second to last. I suspect the art has changed over the years? I have picked up the TB. TFTC and series.
Out and about with my walking buddies on a nice autumn day, enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the countryside while chasing a few caches. What can I say.... just living the dream

Nice quiet day to do a cache in Gawler. Thanks BritishMeat for this trail.
Came out today with csaba! and SupaOrange. Hit the trail with bikes. Great series. Turtle Out
Hitting the trails with SupaTurtle and Csaba!. Great fun zooming up and down parts of the jumps. Great caching. Tra La Laaa
This was an enjoyable series and our main target for today. On Mt. Bikes we headed north collecting a fantastic range of caches. All hides were in great condition. Found with the Supa's. Thanks
My 2000th non-Lab find!
Had this on my watchlist as it also ticks some challenge cache requirements. A quiet Easter Sunday was the perfect op to grab this one. Replaced exactly as found. TFTC

The cache is still disabled. The whole trail is getting a good check and overhaul with 2 new caches added. Bare with me and we'll have this trail running from the start in a few weeks

Found and signed. Cache was vandalised and contents everywhere. Rebuilt best we could and placed back near coordinates. Jones Family
Today was Gawler Day. After doing all my chores I headed off to Gawler on the new road which makes the drive much shorter.
Had a long list of caches to tick off but a later than anticipated start coupled with some hideous hay fever meant I didn’t get as many finds as I’d hoped for. Just wasn’t having caching feels today.
I didn’t have any dnf though which was good and converted one prior frownie into a smile which was also good.
At the end of the day had some fab food at the very well patronized Geocaching day event. Not quite Seattle where I should have been today but still a fabulous event and was great to see so many fellow cachers. After tea found a final 3 caches with JJ52 and then took my pollen infested head home, still suffering the Wattle side effects the next day.
Found this one out in the open with the contents strewn everywhere. Log book very wet. Reassembled and replaced in obvious location. TFTC BritishMeat

Up at my old Home-Town again to visit an event this evening to celebrate International Geocaching Day and eat lovely Chinese food! [:p]
A quick find but the log book is still wet [:o] Fortunately the pages are just dry enough to place pen on without tearing them.

Thanks British Meat for this series, had been watching it for some time.
This cache is wet, great book but sodden. I carefully spread the pages and signed in the right place. Great stuff, thanks again, OZGrumpy.

Found good hide!!! Left a digger, a car, ooshi. TFTC. Tool an eraser and a 2019 pin. Little diggers loved it.
Out for a morning of caching with The White Dog Gang, Freddo, Trail06, and Davidwazza.
All caches we found were in good condition and only a couple caused us any grief.

Out and about with Felixll today gathering a few of the unfound caches around Gawler. We dropped the boys off at the first cache of the series to ride their bikes along the trail to the last one. TFTC BritishMeat, we appreciate your efforts.
This cache was found on our Geocaching road trip from Perth to Millicent for the GeoVenture2020 Event.

Out for a fun day of caching with Dr Owl, SA Sewer Rat and JJ52.
Another quick find to clear this series (mini power trail?) from my unfound list. Yes, we never do things the right way but we get there in the end.
Thanks for the cache BritishMeat.

Last one in the series and driven to from a different angle. Those blocks are not designed to let in the more generously proportioned cachers, but persistence paid off (after much laughter!) Thanks for the series.
Another day caching out north with Doctor Owl, sushilord and SA Sewer Rats. It started out quite cool but by mid afternoon it was quite warm and I even worked up a sweat at one cache. [^] A fun day travelling on some great back roads with lots of beautiful scenery and plenty of interesting banter along the way.
We tackled the Meat Trail first before heading further north. All were reasonably quick finds with some interesting hides. [^]
Thanks for this series BritishMeat.
