Muggle65 and l have 3 days in WA to grab as many of the caches on our list as we can. Naturally our list is too ambitious but isn't that every cachers norm?Muggle65 made quick work of this one while l was totally in the wrong place. Thank you for the fun

At the beginning of my caching career, GreenGecko1 laid out an agenda of caching each capital city. I'm happy to report 6 states down and only one to go.This weekend was our allocated visit time, unfortunately it arrived on the back of the recent Dunedin Mega epic.Arriving in town Thursday night at 11pm, we grabbed our hire car and set off south.Tiny little bugger this hide was and I was soon glad to spy this one.Caches signed as either Muggle65 or M65.

Having organised the right sort of transport it was time to put it to us on these tracks and of course pick up some caches along the way. Some sandy and well rutted section but no issues. Some great views along the way and generally short searches. TFTC

27-May-23
I popped out to grab a few caches today in the more remote parts.

I wisely decided that the Hyundai i30 hire car might fall short on this particular track. I was surprised by the amount of 4x4s that went up and down as I was walking along. I have to confess, if I was local, I would probably make this part of my daily commute.

At GZ I searched in the obvious places even though previous logs said that it wasn't there. I knew that it was small and sneaky, then I just spotted it

With the relaxation of the COVID rules and regional boundaries, it was decided that a brief Geocaching trip was in order. After meeting up with richlink we headed for a 4WD drive along the 3 bears track. We found this cache hidden in plain sight view a couple of meters from GZ. There were only a couple of names in the log so presume we found a replacement cache. Thanks GeoHuntorz.

19-May-20
After a previous dnf we returned today with iluvtrekking and made the find. Co-ords were pretty good but there were only a couple of other names on the log so this was probably the replacement mentioned by a previous finder. Thanks GeoHuntorz

I am currently travelling around south-west WA after leaving Adelaide three weeks ago. Most of my time has been spent re-visiting old haunts, exploring new places, catching up with friends and family and seeking out caches that interest me along the way.

Last night I camped out (in the rain) near Greenbushes and headed down towards Busselton for the day.

After completing the challenge cache series near Dunsborough I still had some spare time so I slipped down to Yallingup to do a multi then headed up to do this one that I had on my target list due to the D/T combination.

At the the exact GZ according to the GPS on my phone, I found a common type of cache hide location, but there was nothing there. I hunted around a bit and eventually spotted the tiny cache hidden with no cammo in plain sight about 2 metres away, but so difficult to see. Its quite a good hide really.

It appears (see photo) that the logbook, and possibly the cache itself, was replaced prior to the find by cashulater in April this year and subsequently found and signed by The_Sobs later that month. However, there is no entry in the logbook by angeldust76 who logged the find online on 17 July 2019.

This cache was my main target on this 4WD track and I didn’t have time to continue any further today, but it looked interesting. I might return to complete the track sometime when I have more time.

Thanks GeoHuntorz for the cache.

We had intended to do both 4wd series today but too many cowboys whizzing along the track and not appreciative of anyone stopped along the way. Found all but 4 of the Goldilocks series - will return when its not holiday time and the track is quieter. No luck with this one despite an obvious cachers trail to gz area. Thanks GeoHuntorz

27-Dec-18
The weather wa a bit iffy this morning and it actually rained quite a bit at times, which dampened our enthusiasm for caching. Along with ilook4geo it was a team effort, but so many times we just did not managed to locate what Goldilocks had hidden and was protecting. So it was only a mediocre result for this run. GeoHuntorz still get our thanks for this interesting run of caches. It was also interesting negotiating the track and dodging the many vehicles out for the fun drive today.

27-Dec-18
This was a fun drive, but we did have some misses along the way with goingplaces2. The hides varied and the containers were different as well. Despite the less than usual success rate we still had a lot of fun. TFTC.

When we were up at Cape Naturalist we had a call from parkacruz asking if we would like to join them on an assault of these series......we did not need asking twice, so accepted their very kind offer, jumped in the car & met them at #34 on the Dunsborough Tracks. TFTF parkacruz & TFTC GeoHuntorz

Had a bit of spare time today when I wasn't needed at any of the events, so popped out and grab a few caches with SeabreezeOZ. Neither of us had done this series so we thought we would grab as many as we could before I had to get back to work. Started at the furtherest ones away and worked our way back, searching for caches between showers. Managed to find all that we tried for too. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series for the rest of us to come and find GeoHuntorz. Not as many whale sightings today as two evenings ago, but still the odd splash out there. Bonus!!

I was still travelling out and about with maccamob and our aim for the day was a few caches before heading to the CITO and then an afternoon of fun doing the 4wd tracks.

After a pleasant morning caching despite the weather and attending the CITO of hardly any rubbish we joined force with Crank1, Everlasting,Varuna & Baby & Mrs Gopher to start the Dunsborough Tracks & The Goldilocks series.
It was a great way to spend the afternoon with beautiful scenery, varied cache hides and excellent company.
We seemed to share the finds between us all, some being easy and some challenging us all as well.
To save room in the logs we signed as "3 States"

Thanks GeoHuntorz for setting up this fantastic series.

Travelling Australia since March 2014 now we are in the west for a visit with family.

We headed out this morning with the aim of grabbing a couple of caches before registering at WAGB, and then teaming up with TheMachman and Spatialriq to tackle the 4wd series of caches.

Lucky for us the rain held off most of the day. some great views and wildflower spotting added to the enjoyment of these caches. We bumped into so many other cachers on the trail which is always fun.

Woohoo !!! Found it !!!

After a late start, I finally made it to WAGB18 just after 1pm so a bit late starting.
After registering I was off to tick some caches off the list and turn them into smileys .

With time against me as it was a late start I had to get a move on as bad weather was forecast for later in the arvo.

Had heard & read great reports about this 4WD series so off the beaten track I go. Had a great time doing these with some harder finds mixed into the series.
Magnificent views & great coast line in this series.
Why would we even consider living anywhere else, WA is the best place on earth.

Sent Mr OOH YEH back down south on a very early morning caching trip. Picked up a pile of caches plus a 4X4 caching run which saw him pick up some new caches that had recently come out. All caches were found with a few that took a bit of searching. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches

A huge day out caching in the south west of our beautiful state with Cravo10. We planned to leave Perth early and head down to Bunbury to cleanup a heap of caches before attending the CITO event hosted by Rach2/Dimor before heading further south to Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River/witchcliffe.

Leaving Perth at 515am we made our way into Australind and got eaten alive by a bunch of mozzies and enjoyed a lovely stroll out along the groyne to the new cache out there before finding a couple of multis and then attending the CITO.

Whilst at the CITO we got chatting with JackyLegs44 and agreed to cache our way into Dunsborough before meeting up with one of his mates who had access to a serious 4wd for the new goldilocks series, which despite the terrain ratings should not be attempted in anything less than a serious 4x4 unless you want to be rescued. A great ride in the back of the troopy and some neat hides and some needles amongst the hay stacks. Was also nice to meet falcon351 and ringtailposs on the trail who we cached with for nearly the entirety of the goldilocks trail.

After completing the series we hit up the cockatoos dinner puzzle before heading to Witchcliffe to complete some of the newly published puzzles down there. Managed 4 of the puzzles before calling it quits for the day as we had to be back in Perth at a reasonable hour.

Thanks to the local COs for their hides. A great day out. Thank you.

Headed down to Bunbury and Busselton today with Barnzy12. Had the CITO on the list for 9am however making a full day of it we, well I was up at 4.30 and picketed up B12 at 5.15. A pile of caches on the list to find today from Trads to multi, puzzle, letterbox, event and even an earth cache. Making for a very busy day good thing it’s spring and the sun was out with a mild 21degree day, Thanks to the CO’s for the placement and maintenance on all caches found today.

23-Sep-18

Wow - glad that there’s a phone tower nearby.
A nice little email came through after we had found the last Goldilocks Cache and about to head out via Hemsly Rd.
Checked it’s location and a change of plans to retrace our trip in.
Spotted the little one and a bonus FTF came up trumps.
Thanks for the series, a great drive whale watching as another bonus today.
