Were we originally on the wrong side of the creek? YesOnce that was rectified, quick grab and sign on the log bookTFTC!
A rare fast find today thanks to a generous hint. Nice taking my fish for a walk around here (!).
TwoEms have started to grow a variety of foods in our veggie garden that cant be found at our local supermarket; like inky black carrots with deep purple cores, and watermelon raddish with bright green skin and vibrant pink flesh. The yellow yam daisies look so pretty and the thick tuberous roots so tempting. Were curious to grow them and find out what they taste like. Well keep an eye out for them at our local nurseryperhaps the sweeter Microseris walteri to plant in our garden next autumn. However, now is the tail of winter, and we were here to look for another tuberous looking thing, that after a good search gave us a whole new meaning to geo-bush tucker food. Thank you for the cachevery well hidden.
Love all the info about the local agriculture. Makes for a lot more interesting find. We arent just out for a walk, but thinking about the impact colonisation has had on this land and its ecosystem. CreatureKid diabolically sent me into the wrong spot while he scooped up the find!TFTC!
I didnt notice the cache upon first inspection, but after a 2nd look it was found. Log signed, TFTC Mister Doctor
Did another event and thought while I was in the area would do a little cache finding. Thanks
nice and easy. was not sure at first what the bottle cap tube was but I do know now thanks for the cache
Suscoe arrived in Box Hill and after a cuppa Mr S headed out on the bike for a trip around the pathways along the creek. The day was starting to cool down but it was still pleasant. So many people enjoying the space with their dogs, jogging, walking, riding and even paddling in the creek. Thanks to Mister Doctor for this hide, still lots of dogs, walkers, joggers and families out enjoying the end of the day. Time to head back now.
Great find. Very clever hiding spot. Check the areas closely, youll be surprised when you find it that you probably overlooked it.- BLCMgroup
I wanted to try and at least find one cache today, in order to continue to work on the last [Wheel of Challenges Challenge](https://www.geocaching.com/play/souvenircampaign/wheelofchallenges).However, I had very limited time today after work and so I decided to filter my search of possible caches to only fairly low D/T traditionals. So I opened up [Cachly](https://www.cachly.com/) and filtered for possible caches, when I saw this one.*Ooo! An unfound [Mister Doctor](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=7d33975e-dd45-4386-8e04-c1988ca4e720&wid=26e89729-b5c8-484a-aff1-63792d75d0f5&ds=2) cache?!*I instantly knew I had to make this one the target for the day.So after work I hopped into the geomobile and made my way over to the [recommended parking coordinates](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/wpt.aspx?WID=14775c05-1099-47ce-94ed-04ddd82c0bdc&RefID=26e89729-b5c8-484a-aff1-63792d75d0f5&RefDS=1).It was than a shortish walk over to GZ. The weather today was absolutely perfect, nice and sunny. The weather was warm and it just felt amazing as I walk towards GZ in this beautiful pocket of nature. Unfortunately, every single muggle and their dog had the same idea as I did and the area was very busy with lots of walking coming and going. I was luckily able to spot the cache fairly quickly once I arrived at GZ. Unfortunately, the area was so busy that I couldn't retrieve it without drawing attention to myself. I think I read the nearby sign and the cache page so much as I waited that I almost had the thing memorised! But eventually there was a break in the almost never ending stream of muggles, which allowed me to quickly retrieve the log, sign it, and replace it before the next doggo came running past. A big thanks goes to [Mister Doctor](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=7d33975e-dd45-4386-8e04-c1988ca4e720&wid=26e89729-b5c8-484a-aff1-63792d75d0f5&ds=2) for the fun today. I really loved reading up on *Microseris lanceolata* today. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container was in good shape. The attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
One of those ones where getting a 360° view of a particular area helps! Surprised these aren’t found by more muggles but suitable camouflaged! Really enjoyed my walk today in the reserve! TFTC
Out and about on a beautiful Spring day. I had just arrived and was checking out the area when a passerby asked what I was looking for. I explained geocaching in 100 words or less, then explained what I was looking for here. Ten seconds later she said "I can see it" and then pointed out where it was. Thanks muggle for your help.
Thanks to Mister Doctor for the cache.

Upon arrival at the posted coords, Redcb spotted the little fellow almost immediately. Signing the log, we both agreed that we had experienced a wonderful afternoon of clever hides.
Thank Mister Doctor.
Thank Mister Doctor.
Our afternoon continued...I did enjoy walking this park. This little guy was spotted fairly promptly and signed. Thanks for the cache Mister Doctor
A nice stroll to find this cache, the area is very popular with dog walkers.
Thanks Mister Doctor for the cache.

I was a little annoyed at myself when I found it because it’s just in plain sight!
Today we decided to spend our afternoon completing the caches around the creek trail, with the ultimate goal of finding the 'fish' multi.
After waiting for some passing dog walkers we dived in and retrieved the cache. Wait for some more to pass by, then dive back in to reset.

Finally found it after several attempts. Was looking at the wrong side of the track! Made it harder than it actually was. New Whitehorse heritage trail sign in area.
Found it! So much water in the creek today!! Didn’t see any yam daisies today. Not the time for year for them yet. This was a quick find. Took a bit to get the lid off but I managed. I noticed the last person to sign the log sheet was back in January! Seems some previous finders may not carry pens or don’t know they should sign the log sheet! Anyway TFTC SL the cache is in great condition!
Find#71: my first back to back finds in a long time. A bit of moisture build up on the log but managed to sign it. 1st found it 6 years ago before my kid was born. Tftc
The last cache for today after a walk around an enjoyably deserted campus fulfilling the requirements of the proximate whereigo cartridges.
The cache was found somewhat in the open so I tucked it next to the most convenient static point consonant with the hint.
Although it was a very pleasant walk I was a little surprised at the colour of the creek. It looks like it could do with a good flush.

Found by Mary and David at 11:45. After your marvellous Event, we walked a circuit of the lake doing a couple of caches and starting the Gardiners Creek Ad Lab. This cache was close to the second stage, so we just had to include it. D crossed the creek at a large network of stepping stones, and found the cache after a brief search. A FP for all your research and cache notes. Can't understand those who don't read the notes, because we learn so much that way. Keeps "the little grey cells" active - at our age, every little bit helps. Our thanks to Mister Doctor.
After attending the **Community Celeb'n Event - Gardiners Crk (Deakin)**, I pottered around the general area finding a few caches before calling it quits when it go too warm to be comfortable...
My map showed me that I had one cache to collect on this side of Gardiners Creek and three on the other side... so I thought I would visit this one today and leave the others for another time. I parked as suggested in Kilsyth Avenue and wandered over to this cache... for a nice easy find.
Thanks **Mister Doctor** for putting it here...
