Logs
Reperio 18:53Travelled towards Canberra today with my Miss Vitruvius for the upcoming Capital GeoBashMega event, and we spent the majority of the day chasing geocaching series and power trails. We managed to replace a few containers and logs in different places, but for most of things, the caches were found in good condition. Find Beck couldnt sign the log pin when cooperate. Man, the grass is deep here. Holy smokes! Thanks for the fun!
found on a day out geocaching. finding part of the Tarago Series and surrounding caches with Whiteman98
As JennScho said; a log but no cache. Log is wet too. I’m visiting from interstate and don’t have supplies with me, could the next person maybe help out? Thanks ALL7.
Found. Unfortunately there is no longer a case for this cache. Found the log in its ziplock bag. Have signed the log and put pack in its spot. Sorry no case available ro replace the missing one
Needed some numbers in the lead up to my next milestone. Teamed up with 154Crows to complete half of the Tarago Series. We had a successful day outdoors. TFTC!
Out on a brilliant morning picking up a few caches in the Tarago area. I think we snagged around eighty on the day without breaking a sweat. Thanks for all the caches.
Finalf29 and I are on another caching road trip... woohoo! So good to be out with my bestest bud
Getting a bit hot... the breeze is much welcome! Thanks

The grass is riz and wet, paddocks are very green and there are heaps of big trucks on this road. TFTC
Went for a drive to the country and find a few caches on the way between Bungendore, Tarago and Goulburn.

We are travelling to Millicent for the Easter Mega event and enroute we have found plenty of caches to keep us occupied for quite a while. What an awesome selection of caches there is in Canberra and surrounding districts. Today we found your cache. Thanks to ALL7 for arranging this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Having met up with Three Kings at Maccas, we are having fun on a busy afternoon caching aiming for Bungendore before dark. Thanks for all your hard work putting this trail together ALL7.
Great afternoon with the WEEO. Good company, coffee and caches and we had a ball. Thanks heaps ALL7 for setting them up for us.
Took the back way home from Goulburn, picking up some of this series as we went. Foul weather howling wind and some rain cut the fun short... TFTC.
One of the many geocaches on the annual Stumble's trip to Canberra (where we stay in NSW) but this time travelling from Goulburn to Queanbeyan via Tarago (pub grub and service is GOOD) and onwards through Bungendore.
Of the 241 caches attempted, 225 were "Finds" and 16 were DNFs. All caches in good condition but generic log due to the sheer amount of how they blend into each other after a while. TFTC!

This weekend represents The Stumble's annual Canberra trip. We travelled from Goulburn through to Queanbeyan via Tarago (food and service is really good at the pub) and Bungendore.
Out of 241 caches attempted, 225 were "Finds" and 16 were "DNFs". All caches, unless otherwise stated were in good condition. Cache locations varied but those prickly trees were the WORST!! We did encounter a few unique hides which we have awarded FPs for.
We left a lot of swag along the way for the kidlets and deposited a couple of TBs that needed moving on.
To all the CO, TFTC and the (at times) challenges in finding them. Apologies for the generic logs but 241 caches blend in to each other after a while!!

See previous logs. Confirm that #25 and #26 have been chewed up by recent roadworks along here
Finally catching up on logging caches that I had missed logging when we were in Australia. After arriving in rain yesterday it was good to see the sun, albeit cold day for some of our team. Thank you for putting out these caches. We are on a numbers run today.
Signed KCC or KC for Kiwi Caching Chicks (Infoferret, Jude_E, NosyNel, thedbees, Graciesgpsfun and me) who are Australia for the OzMuster. We are now on a road trip for 7 days. TFTC

Out in car number 2 for our big finding day with the Kiwi Caching Chicks. We are GraciesGPSfun , thedbees , Ethness, Infoferret , Jude_E and me Nosynel. We might sometimes sign the geocaches as KCs or TKCs. TFTC.
The kiwichicks have started working on this series and other caches in the area as part of an epic cache run which saw some of us grabbing over 180 caches on a bitterly cold day. We managed most of this series (a few were DNF's, others we missed as we were unable to park safely, and had heaps of fun!)
I was in the car with Nosynel and Jude E. When I signed the log it was written as Kiwichicks (Very occasionally KC if space was limited).

We are on a geocaching holiday from NZ following the Ozgeomuster in Wollongong. Six kiwi caching chicks (KCC) are having fun exploring NSW and VIC. Needs new container. Only the log remains in the replacement hint item. The original is lying in a paddock. Have tried to leave it so it will not blow away. Thanks for the hide.
Thanks ALL7 for placing this geocaches 7479 find for me. We six stayed in Canberra last night. Today is all about numbers. We are setting a challenge to see how many we can find on a day. We started out at 5:47am. 6am was the time we filled the car with juice. We changed the driver 3 times.
The time has finally arrived for a massive Australian road trip with The Kiwi Chicks. We are GraciesGPSfun , thedbees , Ethness, Infoferret , Jude_E and me Nosynel. We might sometimes sign the geocaches as KCs or TKCs.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

The start of a long road trip, an unexpected detour and a few extra stops were allowed.

We had come to this mega with the intentions of just socializing and catching up with old friends that we haven't seen for awhile.
Somehow or other over a few drinks the idea of getting an early start and trying our luck on some of the local power trails seemed to override the urge to socialism so we joined forces with alansee, gonefishen07,zobo4,muzza,the Drovers & Andarka and headed off for what turned out to be an extremely enjoyable day out with fringes old and new and a reasonable caches were found to boot.
We realised the effort that goes into placing and maintaining a series like this, we don't mean to belittle the effort at all with cut and paste logs(we really appreciate it) but when you find so many so quickly to remember what was what for each one to write a log just doesn't seem to happen
To save room in the logs we signed as Tc7 (The Crazy Seven)
Thanks ALL7 for the cache.

I had lots of fun, met some nice people and found some great hides.

Headed down from Sydney, through the unexpected traffic to Goulburn where we could turn off onto the Braidwood Rd and hopefully some easier travelling. Team Mavetju and I (signed as E+E) enjoyed this trail for is sensible distances between caches and site appropriate containers. Thanks ALL7 for placing these caches, we look forward to collecting the rest soon.

Headed down to Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega event over Easter with steeba. We set ourselves a goal of bolstering our find count by doing some of the numerous powertrails that dot the surrounding area.
We did this trail by night which made our traffic movements rather easy. Most of the hides were straight forward, even in the dark. Thanks to the CO's for placing the caches we found.

10:10:00 AM. After setting up camp at the Mega yesterday today we were out for numbers. I had checked out this series before leaving home in Qld. We drove to the start to work our way back towards camp. We ended up breaking our record for finds in one day. There were 3 caches that we couldn't grab due to roadwords and having the lane closed. Thanks for the effort that went into these. All logs signed. Sorry about the cut and paste. Thanks ALL7 for the cache.
On holidays. Decided to take a country drive and try to complete a large chunk of this series. Some of the parking was a bit difficult and had to keep a close eye on speeding trucks. Coordinates were spot on and caches were all of a good size. Thanks for the series.
