Here for a shower before I go skiing. It was getting dark, but I could still see the sign which revealed the box. TFTC
After setting up the motorhome out the back and a delicious lunch, we came out to look for the local caches. This was quite a few meters away from GZ by our GPS but we finally found it. Definitely a fav point from us. TFTC
After camping here one night I saw that there is a Cache hidden at the pub. Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Our first visit to ACT in that time.Moving today from Canberra to Bredbo. We stopped at Historic Michelago Railway Station for a looksee. Once arrived at Bredbo we unhitched the caravan so we could explore the local area. Ahh yes a nicely placed cache. Definitely worthy of a FP. Looking forward to our dinner here tonight.TFTC Smokie5054

1/4/2024 Find #6957Day four in Canberra for KBreeAHH, Captain Terror and I. Today was our second biggest day of caching, not having really pushed it too hard this trip. As we were driving along I was having a quick browse of the map and noticed this one. Well we just had to make it a stop - KezzBear will be jealous for sure!We parked up and wandered over aware of a local sitting out front nearby who seemed a little quizzical of newcomers. But we headed over to GZ and checked out the information and made our find before grabbing a couple of pics. Of course one should never let Captain Terror use your phone to take photos of you and a friend - ever the clown! Thanks for the cache Smokie5054.
Find 10 - On the Road to Canberra for Capital Geobash 2024. Clever hide, took a bit to find GZ as there were many muggles enjoying the warm weather and a cold bevy. Thanks Smokie5054 for setting up and maintaining this cache.PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me on my great caching adventures this morning.
Headed back toward Canberra for the mega and needed to stretch my legs. This was a good stop for a cache. Its a nice day for a road trip. Thanks for the cache!
Passing by on our way to Canberra, we stopped off and located this cache. It was a bit early in the morning to imbibe, so we passed up on the offer of a free beer. Nobody else here at this time either. Thanks for the clever hide, Smokie5054
Heading to Canberra with ConnieandRick for the mega and this was our last stop prior to arriving. Nice hide, had us tricked for a while. We were on a tight time schedule so had to pass up the generous offer. FP.
Last stop on our long journey tiday to Canberra with Wombatwandering, a great hide.

Simple but clever .had a marvellous free stay at the back of the inn...slept very well after a long drive, now time to get to Canberra to cache prior to the Mega.
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Ll
An impromptu road trip to the snowies allowed me to stop along the way to grab a plethora of caches. This was one of many finds I made for the trip.Thankfully I had the outside to myself and was soon able to locate the cache.TFTC
Found on the way home from The Mile High Event at Tantangara Mountain. Took a couple of minutes to find this one, previous logs helped to narrow it down. Great hide at a nice location. It was quiet here at 4pm on a Sunday. TNLNSL. TFTC Smokie5054!
Had it in my hand after finding the right sign from the past Did an Overnight stopover behind the inn on our way to Jindabyne
We had Billie the wonder dog as extra cover for retrieval and return. Cool cache, tftc!
I had an audience from my companions, so with a stroke of good luck, my hand went straight to this! Now that's how it should be done! Very nice hide.Out for a short road trip with Tankengine and dty73 to Cooma. With cache maintenance as the priority, it also proved a lovely way to escape the heat being so much cooler! We visited the Cooma railway museum which was quite interesting to explore. Talking with the manager, they have great vision and are doing their best to protect the railway history, as they have with the lovely old railway building. I have great memories of travelling railway as a child. There's something about rail I do enjoy and look forward to!We did of course find a few caches, find a few hidden points of interest, and enjoyed a nice lunch. Stopping at the Christmas barn in Bredbo a first, also worth a stop! Thanks for the cache!
Baristayan hauled this one in fairly quickly once she’d honed in on ground zero. Great hide!
Quiet Saturday morning in Bredbo up this end of town, but the pie shop was pumping as always. Thanks!

Stopped here on our trip to Cooma. [@trodectus](https://coord.info/PR8JTE0) suggested this one and we eventually found after searching for a bit being careful of nearby Muggles. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We drove from Canberra to Cooma and stopped in Bredbo to visit the Christmas Barn. After spending the afternoon in Cooma, visiting the rail museum, having lunch and a wander around the town, we stopped again in Bredbo and tried for this cache. We were wary of a family of muggles who kept returning to a car parked nearby. After some minutes we looked in the correct spot and had CIH. Log stamped and we left a trackable, before replacing the cache once the muggles had left the area again. Then we drove back to Canberra. TFTC.

After a visit to the Christmas Barn it was time to find the two nearby caches before continuing our trip to Canberra.
This was a sneaky find about 4 meters away from posted GZ.

Fantastic hide!
Settled in for a pie and a ginger beer on the way to Cooma and tried to subtly survey the options. After not too long made the find - great hide! Always good to read up on the history of places I visit. TFTC and an FP from me.
Introduced to Bredbo Man from Snowy River geocache when having dinner at the pub. Daughter had fun finding it & signing book
After getting muggled out on our way to Jindy the other day we stopped on our way home. No one about but we took awhile. Finally C8 found it in a great and apt hiding spot. Have a FP. TFTC
A cache trip to the mountains for a big hike around blue lake triggered by some events in Jindi. A number of caches planned for the drive down and some more for the way back (if I have the stemina for those).

This cache: An awesome hide. I think I was only lucky to find it quite quickly being observant of some old log picture. A ver nice spot for a cache and a FAVpoint from me.
Thank you Smokie5054 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Day #1 [14-2] of 5 for my trip away. Today, I headed down to my overnight pit stop in Cooma before heading into Merimbula tomorrow. Yes of course, I am going to Geocache the whole way there and back apart from visiting the beach. The caches I found today were mostly quick and easy finds with a couple of DNF’s or NA’s due to factors like: road quality, unable to find them or I was starting to run out of time to get to Cooma. The focus for the finds were caches that fitted into one (or more) of the following categories: For a self-imposed challenge, historic cache (pre-2010), a quick park and grab along the way or part of the Kelly Road Powertrail. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to finish this trail due to the road conditions but I did manage the start couple plus the last one of it. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTC’s
P.S. Sorry, about the generic logs. I will endeavour to edit them at some point in the future for the extended story. This is when I have more time on my hands.

Didn’t have our geocaching brain for 5 mins as we had a lovely lunch at the Inn. But eventually regrouped and soon had cache in hand TFTC it’s a lovely pub.
Initially gps wanted us to head back into the pub, where I'd had a Very good pie and pint for lunch. Then the wife after reading the activities made a quick find.
Nice location had us thinking where could it be for a few minutes. Now off to find a couple of other local caches
Thanks for the cache

That was a good search with happy ending. Not the happy ending that some might expect. Free beer is always going to get a favourite point.
We took in the history of Bredo while we were here.

Stopped here for the night. Shame it wasn't open. I was looking forward to a pub feed and beer. I also wanted to wander in and say "Its all goin' on around 'ere now ain't it". I went to high school with a few of the locals. One of them living in/near Bredbo was often heard saying that phrase when he'd show up to somewhere a small crowd has gathered. I thought it had a lot of character and 30 years on I can still be caught saying it myself every once in a while.
Loved the hiding spot.

Finally!!! We stopped and managed to get this very special cache. Well worth favourite. Yftc
Haha this was hilarious the guy was kinda confused at the start but after we explained he understood
We couldn't find it today. The barmen even tried to help he didn't know geocaching even existed in Australia, he thought it was only an American thing. Pies were delicious though. TFTC
