When I took over this cache from Bushfire he said it was on it’s last legs as cache kept going missing as it has again so I have decided to archive ????
Good grief, Bushfire's cache's for the most part recently have been giving us a hard time! We searched up and down in and out, thought we knew what we should be looking for but didn't happen upon the exact location. The 16 year old has decided this one is crazy so we're going to the next one ... Better luck next time.
Our second find for the day. GeoKid had it in hand pretty quick, but we ignored it, looked everywhere else and went back to check the unusual container. TFTC
While in the area I checked this guy out and found it in full view so rehid it a little better so should be ok for a while.
Tricky one because it was lying right in the centre of the structure with a bunch of coke cans. A lovely local kid told us to stop making it complicated and just look I've stopped handling this kind of thing because it's never the cache but it was this time!
Find # 6520
Nice quick find. Very interesting structure.

We found this one really quickly, the only problem is we didnt know we had. After 10 mins of head scratching we turned back the thing we handled at the start. And on closer inspection we realized the error of our ways. Nice one Bushfire.
Came back and found it straight away! definitely don't know how I missed it last time! TFTC!
In the area today so dropped by but all good but replaced the log so will be good for some time as the last time I was close by just before the latest lockdown checking on my other caches in this seaside location.
With so many new cachers I am going to increase the difficulty rating as it is not an easy find and you cannot see it by looking along the ground.

Have been twice in the last week, at one stage there was 5 of us looking! no luck, will try another time!
The day turned out to be a good one when the fog lifted ........ eventually. So it was decided to go out and do a bit of caching with ilook4geo. We found a variety of cache types and various hides, which was enjoyable. Nobody was in the area so it was not a problem to make the find of this hidden cache and the log was soon signed with both names. All was then put back as it was found. Thanks go to Bushfire for placing this cache.
A good day to go out caching with goingplaces2, do we did. This was one of the caches we had on the list to do. Found this cache OK. No muggles around at all so it was an easy find. TFTC.
Popped over from the nearby park, found this straight away as it was poking it's nose out. TNLN, pushed it properly away.
Explored Barwon Heads today as we didn't have time on our last visit. Very nice park here and a quick find. TFTC

Stop 2 on our little adventure after a brief detour via the playground. The junior cachers played some pokemon go for a bit before ditching that in favour of hunting down this cache which the eldest eventually spotted after a bit of hunting both high and low.
Thanks Bushfire for placing this Small Traditional - this is find 1889 for BFMC

Last day of the holidays and we thought we'd spend it down relaxing in Barwon Heads. We couldn't help going by and noticing the Geocaches around town so we thought we should pick them up. Thanks Bushfire for the cool cache... never been much around this area so you've bought us to some where new . TFTC TFG5
Thanks for the cache! Kids loved the explore walk surrounded by statues. Cache was covered in snails ewwwwww
Our 4th find, a quick walk from the playground nearby. R found this one pretty quickly. TFTC bushfire.
We were in the area walking and counting and what a great walk it has been. The cache was quickly found and our name is now in the log book. SL TFTC
Meandering along the path I could have completed the caches out here in barwon heads much faster but chose to walk and enjoy the peace and quiet here. A really enjoyable afternoon. Thanks for the effort in your caches here Bushfire.
I had to sit on one corner. Aysen sat on the other. I don't know why. He just told me what to do. I was happy to do that and sit and sign the log.
Very deceptive, we circled the structure a few times before both of us spotted it. TFTC SL
Geokid10 found it after a brief search... whilst battling the mozzies
And finally got to drop off a Trackable here too.
TFTC. Great spot

As we were busily counting things for a multi OHC says .... Wouldn't you put a cache around here? Looks it up ... why hello green dot. As I was counting and finalising numbers another smiley for our wonderful day.

Spending the day with the lovely Mrs 4B Ninjas, cruising the Bellarine Peninsula.
Working the nearby multi, we nearly left this one behind. I spotted the cache as we approached.
Cheers Bushfire

After spending the morning in Queenscliff attending a Lego show and finding some more caches in that area, it was time for an ice cream and some caching time in Barwon Heads.
Last find of the day and the light was rapidly fading while we were here. Needed the torchlight from our phones to locate this one, we took a few circuits of the structure but got there eventually.
Thx Bushfire for a great afternoons' entertainment looking for your caches. Cheers

Well luckily after we got back to the car after The Mews, the rain slowed down to virtually nothing by the time we arrived here! Cache was a nice easy find by JMelb. We were to revisit this spot again later unbeknownst to us lol

A lovely morning wandering around Barwon Heads to find a few caches. Had to look carefully here before spotting this one TFTC bushfire
Another, rather unexpected, fine day sees us geocaching yet again. This is our first find of the day.
We hadn't been caching for a while. So, decided today (before the heat arrives tomorow) would be a good opportunity. That, and the promise of fish n chips for lunch in Barwon Heads ticked all my boxes.
Great location and very apt title.
TFTC Bushfire and your maintenance of it.
Quick grab for she who must be obeyed LOL.

Here with many little helpers Found after a bit of a search by one of the little ones whose made her first find
As we walked to this cache we couldn't get the 'my hat, it has, three corners' out of our heads! The little bunnies were very helpful finding snail shells but the big bunny got the cache. Glad there was a pencil inside as we forgot our pen! TFTC

Out doing a few caches in this area today. Discovered TB. Nice quick find amongst the many cache guardians of the slower version. A few muggles walking past but we made light of the time.

In Geelong today with 08151605, feathertop and 6hinemoa2 attending the annual Christmas invasion. Signed as a team cache 608SF to avoid the logs running out too quick.
Met up with Misschief 18, chook and wozzle. Feathertop quickly had the cache in hand and signed. Thanks Laurie

Our team (608SF) caught up with Chook'n'Chunk and friend here working on other number problems. A quick chat followed by a short search meant we had what we wanted and we could get out of there.

Caching buddies: Yin~Yang and leafotwind
Joint {FTF}
While the struggle was on to open the geocache next to the event, yinyang hustled for me up join him and get the ftf on this one instead! So we sneaked away from the group and I brought LOTW along... Running in thongs, cache was spotted, signed and just about returned when other chasers followed our trail to be 2tf!

After watching a number of people suddenly break off from the nearby event at almost the same exact time I knew exactly what the rvent had morphed into, a FTF hunt!
After a cast of somewhere between 10-20 cachees had descended on GZ without anyone having any luck, I began following a cacher whi has a happy knack for being in the right place at the right time when in a group. She in turn was following her travelling companion for the day who had the right idea.
Joint {FTF} here with ADI and yin-yang. Very satisfying especially as I watched the faces of at least one other team who had had the remarkable luck in being FTF to a number of caches up in my neck of the woods whilst they reside in Geelong. Nice to be on the other side of the equation this time.

Once again at a Bushfire Christmas event near the end of the event the gathering spread out far and wide as there where a few new caches to find.
After the first find near the event, I then headed out with Chris (The_Tritonz) and Flynn23010, we walked to this one and as we were arriving the FTF group were just taking off.
It was a quick find before heading back to the car to head off to the others.
**Thanks to Bushfire for placing this cache.**

It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas!
The Wyndham Lights (GCHB4Y) are twinkling, Geelong's Christmas tree is afloat, a great opportunity to catch-up, chat, and of course do some caching during the 6th Geelong Christmas Geo-festivities.
After the lunchtime fun joined many others in the hunt for some newly published caches.
Thanks to 'Bushfire' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

A quick walk to 3 corners with stemicmitsar and Flynn230103 from the event site found the FTF hunters just heading away so with a quick find and sign we headed off to chance our luck with another one.
Thanks Bushfire for the hunt.

My navigator lead me astray as we approached this one and took me down what looked like a lane way. Oops that's a walking path now. Better sign the log quick before we upset the locals.
Lucky it was an easy find and with our names in the book we got out without any trouble with the natives thankfully.
Thank you Bushfire for the hide and smiley

Found by Mary and David at 1405. Just love the bollards. The spanners could be an indication of their trade - what about Naval Engineers? A nice quick find. Our thanks to Bushfire.
I was down Geelong way for the 3 Christmas events and picked up a few caches between events as time allowed.
After meeting up with Alansee and Muzza at the event we went off in search of the new caches just published in the area.
Walked along the path and came to GZ and met up with Crack’n’Leelee who didn’t realise that they were sitting on a cache as they were busy doing the multi.
Each person picked a corner and the call of found it soon rang out.
Thanks Bushfire TFTC.

Found in the company of Wozzle68, Misschief18 and ExplorerNan, on a daytrip to Geelong and surrounds for the Christmas events.
Well we were interested in the bollards as they were part of the multi in the park, and we found ourselves sitting on top of GZ as we were struggling with our calculations. Then when others kept turning up to look under our backsides, we figured we would have a break from the multi and find this cache as well. TFTC Bushfire.
