Sadly this cache has been destroyed. Time for it to go. Thanks to everyone for the great logs and favourite points.
Found at 4:17 PM GAFF2 at a distance of 12 metres. This cache was very clever, however it took us a few minutes to find. We saw the likely hiding spot on arrival but dismissed it due to it being way out of the GZ fence. We sort of knew what to look for but were over excited when we actually found the hideThanks to heymissjoFeedback: This cache set up helps jaded cachers who have seen just about everything perk up and go - "so this is why we go caching"!!Feedback 2 - no TB in the cache. Explore Minnesota has disappeared, unless it has fallen out of the cache container!
I happened to be at a camp nearby and was sad that due to an injury I wasn't able to complete all the activities that everyone else was. I was walking along while the other camp members were riding the bikes around and decided to look and see if there were any caches nearby as it's certainly a cache worthy area. I was surprised to find one less than 100m from where I was standing and even more surprised at the quality of the hide! This was one perfect, a beautiful location with a spot on container and theme. My only struggle was returning it to its hiding spot but a nearby stick enabled me to do so.Thanks for the great cache!
After knocking off some chores in the morning I joined OzHockeyChick out in the east for some afternoon geocaching. We targeted some new caches as well as some 2023 caches. As I looked at my map the name of this cache rang a bell. Im sure I had heard someone mention this before, in fact I think it had been in conversations with the CO.Since we were so close we took a wander. The initial search was fruitless, searching here and there, weaving through bushes and trees. Then we noticed some mentions in logs m, so searched in a wider zone and sure enough the very clever hide was discovered, right next to the path. The very clever cache was retrieved as intended and all worked extremely well. The cache was in great condition and after signing the log, I sent it in its way.Fortunately there were no bees around today! This one deserves a favourite point for the effort and maintenance.A big thanks goes to heymissjo for taking the time to add Honey Pot to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Nominations for the **2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards** are now open and will close on **17 April 2024**. Super grateful for iTEEM saving the bees and replenishing the honey pot with some new treacle for future friends of Pooh bear to visit. Cache is good to go again.
Will need to visit and check on the bees sounds like they need a visit and some love. Hope to have it back on line soon.

Can see why this has FAVES - one not to miss for the work to create this tribute to the bees which incidentally were not a bother today. Just like busy bees, as I peered a very nice design process was apparent but there was a slight access hitch to the log. I'm in marvellous Melbs again on a multi mission and keen for a bit of nature out on the fringes. This one is definitely a surprise bonus given it was a spontaneous decision to end up in the area. TFTC and the FUn.

Great idea. Coordinates took me roughly 8mtrs away so it took a while for us to find ahah
Our gps definitely had us out amongst the bees on this one, but mister found the honey
Continuing on with my search for popular caches, I arrived at the GZ for this one and immediately could see why Pooh Bear would be happy here. What a lovely design for your cache. Thankfully no bees bothering me. Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful area. Another favourite point.
Thanks to the amazing iTEEM that has helped with maintenance on this little pot of honey! Cache is good to find.

Thanks Juzzmagic for your amazing log on my hide ‘Honey Pot’ on this occasion it is not an iTEEM cache but rather one of mine! (heymissjo) thanks for the compliments though!
Geokid 8 found this one. What a beautiful spot for a cache. I don’t know what the phone GPS was doing. It was way off.
Well, what to say without giving too much away. This is another awesome cache is our area. We are quite spoiled with the fantastic caches/CO's that are close to home.
Today was the third time I have been here. Once with a previous finder but no luck. Once with the grandies but it was hot and they were concerned about snakes so we didn't look for long.
Today, I decided to have another look with Papi4506 which paid off as he made the find reasonable quickly. This is definitely a favourite for me.

GT37 wanted to find a cache so this one was chosen as it was close to home. As it turns out, we both enjoyed searching for and eventually making a find. She had been here a couple of times but no luck so she was more than happy to now have the cache in hand. This is a really great cache and well worthy of a favourite point. Thank you for the work you have put into making this a great experience.
I was determined to visit this cache as I read the log about it on the Geocachers of Victoria facebook page, and it did not disappoint. It is just beautiful. It did take a little while to find though. I wandered around and around and then I spotted something, and quickly worked out what to do. Just lovely.
Forgot the pen, but found it much easier than expected, but oh it’s such a lovely creation thank you!
Life is full of serendipity. I accidentally discovered this cache about a year or so ago with my son, and initially thought it was an orienteering drop for the local YMCA.
Whenever we walked back past on one of our little hikes here, he would ask to take a look as there were often small trinkets in it. On a recent visit I saw the log with a geocache symbol and looked it up on google. Ahhh…now it became clear what we had found.
I downloaded the app and on our first geocaching adventure around Croydon a month or so ago we bumped into heymissjo and the welder who provided us with information about the geocaching community in Victoria.
Today I upgraded to premium and looked on the map. Guess what - the CO is heymissjo! So, I had to come here today and officially sign the honeypot log book.
Thanks for the clever cache that led us to the world of geocaching, and so fortuitous that we were also able to accidentally meet you as well.

Awesome cache and placement
GPS was a little out, not surprisingly due to the tree coverage
Fav point from my son and I

A very well-constructed and idea, definitely worth a favourite point. All in good condition. TFTC
Another find after my U3A Birdwatching Group walk in the reserve earlier today. This was a nicely constructed cache that nicely matched the cache name. Well worth a favourite point. Thanks to heymissjo for the cache.
Caching with echidna44 in the Mt Ev area. So cute, felt a bit like pooh bear eager for the honey
Out caching with pinnacle333 in the Mt Evelyn area in lovely weather at last.
A short search soon found the honey pot. Ingenious set-up, great design. A favourite point thanks heymissjo.

Another cool cache today. We have been so lucky today, thanks so much for the effort into the cache! Lovely walk too!
Maintenance completed (thanks iTEEM for your help on this one) and fresh log book included. Cache is good to go.
We found a log with a wire hanging from the inside but the thing it was suspending was jammed and wouldn't come down
Omg, co-ords putting here there and everywhere, it something kept drawing me back here to the correct location. What an awesome cache. Log damp, but is full, was going to swap log for you but mine was too big to fit into the honeypot. Awesome design idea
Very clever had me looking for a while for a more traditional style. Kids were amazed
absolutely brilliant hiding spot, fantastic cache design! thank you for the fun!!!
Wow, what a beautiful walk it is to get to the cache! I found this one with Crustyvarmint.
I dropped my son off at the local Scout had and had a few hours to grab some caches! Last time I was here this was broken but working beautifully this time! Brilliant cache, fave from me!
This is fantastic! What a wonderful find! By far the best we have found of late.......
We found this cache today on our late afternoon Montrose to Mount Evelyn Meander. A beautifully designed cache and we have now doled out 4 favourite points on the last 4 caches. We love days like this. Thanks from D & H B-A
A nice short walk in a park I have been to many times over the years, the gps pointed into the blackberries, I ignored it and went with an obvious location, it sure was sweet.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Cache all in good condition. Just a reminder to all cachers to please rehide the cache again so that it doesn’t get muggled. Thank you
It was our nieces birthday today so she organised a morning tea at Paperbark Cafe at the Nursery. We brought the gps with us but hadn’t looked at how close any caches were. After morning te GMelb fired up the GPs to discover the nearest cache was only 175m away. After finding a couple of caches there we continued up the road and into Tramway Rd. We found the first cache and then saw there was a heymissjo cache close by … well we just HAD to do that one even though it was getting hot lol We entered from the camp road (but discovered on the way back that there is access from the sports ground car park) Once near GZ the cache was a very easy find and we thought it was very very cool and cute. Will message you re this.

I never seem to do things the easy way sometimes.
A friendly wave to the guy that mentioned I was on private property and with my intentions revealed I gained free parking and general directions along with a ‘good luck!’
At some stage I have gained the strength to put the phone away when approaching a GZ. This helps me more most of the time.
The cache was found in a spot that drew my eye as I entered the 100 acre woods.
So cute and keeping the game fun.
Fav added to the pile.

Thanks heymissJo and I team for your maintenance, what a great little hide this one is. I didn't run into Winnie the Pooh but I did have a good chuckle on his behalf thanks and regards from Vic.
This was our adventure today. Climbed moved a gate (shouldn't have), went bush and found knotted rope to climb down, found two fallen trees trunks in a T that took us to the correct path. GPS led us astray and geogal found a leech. Back to the path and soon located the clever cache just as two muggle girls walked by and I was having a coughing fit. TFTC
Wow...what can I say!!
I have always been passionate about my geocaching and have loved the Geocaching community. But every now and then, I still get surprised and on this occasion I want to do a big shout out to Tim from iTEEM who has graciously volunteered to help me with the maintenacnce on this cache. I can't get to it during lockdown as it is more than 5km away - but he has reached and offered to help me... but more than help me - he has done a striling gold service on my honey pot. So very grateful <3 And so it is with great excitement I can enable this cache again.

Was due to due maintenance on this cache this weekend, but with Victoria in lockdown, it’s going to have to wait.
Disabling until I can check out the cache. Currently in lockdown and cache is out of my 5km zone. Will check when I can.

You can sit in front of the computer as long as you like, trying to solve cache puzzles, but ultimately it's more important to get out and look for them, otherwise what was the point?
To that end, and because it's been way too long since I walked some decent hills, it was time to get back to the Dandenongs for a Meander.
Way past time, in fact. It's been nearly five years.
This was where I entered the trail system after parking near the club rooms. Once the GPSr settled down and I trusted my instincts, the clever cache outer was spotted, more easily than it might have been, due to being slightly more in sight than designed.
Thanks, heymissjo. After signing the log, I cleared away some of the plastic baggies accumulated in the container, and hooked it up where it was obviously meant to be.

Thanks to Crustyvarmint for helping with cache maintenance. All, please be careful with the hide and replace as found. TB dropped
As a previous cacher said - ignore your GPS. I found it 10 m NE. heymissjo , the wire has come loose and you will have to recover the action. The honey pot languishes on its side on the ground. Pooh won't be pleased.
What a wonderfully constructed cache.
Worth a fav point.
Thanks for the cache heymissjo

With the easing of stage 4 restrictions being announced, I am enabling my caches. Please remember to continue to socially distance and use appropriate hand hygiene.
Due to the new Covid 19 restrictions geocaching is not a reason to be out so I am disabling my caches untill safe to enable again. Please stay home and be safe.
Out for some exercise and fresh air and to pick up a few caches as well. After doing a few caches nearby we stopped here for our picnic lunch and to find the cache, our last for the day. We spotted GZ on approach as the pen was lying on the ground, and it didn't take too long and we soon had the cache in hand. A very well constructed cache which a lot of work has gone into. TFTC and bringing us to this spot.
What a great cache. Thanks for putting in the effort. I loved this one. And loved this place. TFTC
This is by far my most favourite cache in the word! Being a 21 year old that absolutely loves Winnie the Pooh, this is amazing!
