As we head quickly toward the end of 2024, we decided along with fellow Victorians Suscoe, to make an effort to tidy up our cache finds and the appearance of our geo-maps before we begin setting our goals for 2025. A trip to Wagga Wagga was arranged and we thoroughly enjoyed finding a range of different caches, many very cleverly created by CO's.Our last day in Wagga Wagga and temperatures forecast into the mid 30's, so the same strategy as previous days - caching in the morning and then mostly did Adventure Labs in the afternoon, with a few passing caches chucked in for good measure. This was one of the caches we found today as we worked our way around the geo-map cleaning up Lab caches and the occasional Bonus cache.**FEEDBACK TO CO:** The log here is full and unfortunately we did not have any replacements of this type. Our thanks to 'Roostaman' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.38474*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
A sunny and hot day followed Suscoe today as we cached with our great friends Phetlern. We had a most enjoyable day together. We headed to the Charles Sturt Uni area of North Wagga and surrounds and then back across the Murrumbidgee to find a few more Ad Labs and caches on a hot afternoon. We left our joint sticker on the log sheets as well as writing our names on a few logs.Thank you to all the cache owners for the work that you have put into the caches that we found. We enjoyed the effort put into the containers and the locations. Thanks to Roostaman for this cache, a pretty good view and cache. A favourite.
That was a tricky little hiding spot . . . luckily the gps was pretty accurate here. Still took some time to find it though. A fabulous view over the town and surrounds on a lovely sunny winter's day. As is often the case here in Wagga hats off to Roostaman. tftc.
A lot more success this afternoon with a clear sky and no rain. I didn't count my first attempt as it was abandoned due to the approaching storm.A sneaky hide but GPS is spot on so it only took a short search.TFTC
Today we explored Wagga Wagga and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We enjoyed travelling through the countryside and visiting new, to us, locations. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty.A sneaky hide, all is good at GZ.Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
This is an amazing little park here!! Will definitely be taking my kids back here one day!! A quick find today! Tftc!
My son had a training day at the Scout Hall so I had a day of geocaching to occupy my time (we travelled over last night). Was an interesting day with floodwater, snakes and mosquitoes adding to the challenge. Has quite a few DNFs (expected with urban caches) but still made 19 finds (and 14 AdLab waypoints - 4 started but only 1 completed). Avenged a couple of DNFs and travelled around a lots of parts of town that I have never visited.
I have avoided these two in the park as they looked too hard. But thought I would give them a crack even if no finds. As I wandered to this one I did think I had no hope. But this took 30 seconds - literally the second spot I looked the familiar hide was spotted.

First of the day during a trip to Wagga. No one around on this beautiful morning while signing the log at 6:30am. Not a hard find due to having the time to do it. TFTC and bringing me out here.
Mr Ski was on his own for this one as Mrs Ski had wrenched her ankle yesterday and the terrain looked a bit rough. He said this was an easy find, walked straight up to it no problems!!
Not quite true. Took a bit more effort than that
Once again we are on the go in Wagga Wagga. We come here semi regularly as our son and his family live in Tumut. The boys attend swimming lessons and play soccer in Wagga, so we often do a few caches before or after we watch the boys. This is the first time in several years we have spent time here on our own, and have really enjoyed getting out and doing some serious caching.
The quality of many of the series we have done and the hides we have found is outstanding. Each day sees us finding a wide variety of cache types, which we are enjoying. We believe that a mix of both rural and urban locations contributes to the variety. Well done Wagga Wagga, you obviously have an enthusiastic local group of geocachers.
TFTC we appreciate your effort in developing, hiding and maintaining this geocache.

Well worth the difficulty rating of 4. A solid 35 mins. of searching finally yielded results. Far too many hiding places in this area, plus, wet shoes and socks.

I woke up in the morning not even thinking about going to Wagga today, but unfortunately, my chair decided to brake, so I made a quick trip to Wagga to get a new chair. When I was at my brother's house and about to leave Wagga to go home, JohnoMawbs thought that I should find some caches on the way home, so, we went to Explorer Park, which is not that far from my brother's house to get these caches. It was a long hilly walk to GZ, but great scenery and a quick find. TFTC!
PS: I also wanted to go on the flying fox, but it was way too hot to go on it.

Seeing the D rating we headed over. Given the conditions, we let the GPSr settle and began our searched before finding the appropriate bit of cacti. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Took us a little while as we waited for gps to settle. Lovely to fibd it. And great view of Wagga
With a long weekend looming plans were hatched to go and do some caching in Wagga
Wagga. So Rapidlywild and only the monkey half of the FFLL team hit the road on Friday after
work.
A lot of different caches were found while driving around the area enjoying the views and
the lovely weather.
After completing the two trails we picked up some caches on the way to get a bite to eat.
Made short work of this one, signed and we were on our way.
Thanks for the hide Roostaman and thanks Rapidlywild for a successful weekend away.

With a long weekend in Canberra, a geocaching trip away was calling us. So FurfacesLL and myself made plans to hit the road and revisit Wagga Wagga to do some more caching. A large range of caches were collected, many terrain and some lovely country views enjoyed.
This sure could be a difficult find if we didnt have a rough idea of what we were looking for. Fortunately FFLL made short work of locating the cache, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the hide Roostaman And thanks to FFLL for another fun weekend out and about the Wagga and surrounds region

Suoer easy find. Found with zqx and loci612 signed dsd or DARKSIDEDAN depending on the size of the cache thanks for the cache and the adventure
Found with DarkSideDan (the path tag man) and Loci612.
We were returning from the St Arnaud mega. This was the last cache of the day for me. It was Loci who made the find.
Some good views from this park.

**This Cache:**
Not too much trouble on this cache today, but mainly because the coordinates had me spot on GZ. There are lots of nooks and cranny's to search throughout so it certainly could be a challenge if you start in the wrong spot!
Thanks Roostaman
**Today:**
Day 4 of the St. Arnaud mega with DSD and ZQX!
It was time to head all the way home today, via a completely different route, in parts of Australia that none of us have ever visited before! All in the name of grabbing some counties! We went through Northern Victoria up to Echuca, and then over the NSW border to Moama, through Deniliquin, Finley, Jerilderie, Narranderra and finally Coolamon and Wagga Wagga before heading home to Canberra! A very productive day collecting counties, with a few high D/T caches mixed in, and even a bonus virtual!
It was a long day with many km's and about 15 hours total on the road, it was good to get home and crash for the night!
Thanks to all the CO's for making it possible

Continuing me stroll through this great little park,
I too noted that the 'native sheep' have eaten all the grass ... and weeds
So past the slide, the flying fox,
I found the cache amongst the rox

Went for a walk in the Explorer Park and the sheep have eaten most of the grass
leaving all the big rocks exposed, which made it interesting to walk through.
A good hide for the location. Signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Roostaman, for us and others to find.

On a glorious morning on our way to Cootamundra orienteering we had to stop at this one, given the 4 rating. Glad we did; fantastic little park, or will be once it settles in. Bradman drive is the best entrance; we strayed into someone’s driveway first off! Thanks
Completed the closest cache to the geo-truck and then headed for the dreaded Roostaman cache in Explorer's Park. We were near the binoculars so I had a look and there was a little cache in the distance!
Too easy Roostaman! A difficulty 4 needs to be more of a challenge than that - took less than 3 minutes to locate! Ladybug was grateful as she was expecting a long search. Maybe the geo-gods were smiling on us.
Enjoyed the walk in a great location not far from where we are staying.
We think this is our #2100. Thanks for your cache.

I found a nice carpark in the new estate that put me close to the cache, a short walk and it was soon found. Thanks Rossta for the cache.
This is a really nice park except for todays weather. It was drizzling on and off and we could see heavy rain approaching. The wind was really strong and bitterly cold. We had already looked where we eventually found the cache. Thanks for showing us this park and playground and for placing the cache.
We weren't sure where to park for this one but as the weather was closing in fast, we found a place in a yet to be developed estate and jumped the fence. It was rather odd as the path finished at a fence. There were no muggles here today as it was mighty cold as you went further up the hill. It is a very nice park with some great equipment and art work. Definitely fun for the kids while you look for the caches here. This was found fairly quickly, which we were both grateful for. Thanks for showing us this area. Have marked it down to show the grandkids.
Wagga Wagga March 2019 trip. Day 3. The day started with and event and ten took me North to Coolamon to make a start on those caches before finishing in Wagga with the water pond caches. This is an interesting park on the hillside. It will be great for the locals.
Thanks.

Out at Explorer Park today on a mission to help out [@AngusnmumyAdventures](http://coord.info/PRRD6GG) with a little job. So while out here it was time to do some exploring and why not find a cache .
We did come here before Christmas and have some pictures of the kids take for pressies. At the time we sussed out some good areas for caches, which are now out of the question as they are to close to this one, oh well first in, best dressed.
This park is a nice little walking park with an adventure area for the kids. It does have sheep roaming around in it, I guess to keep down the weeds. However there are lots of bindi out there growing all over the paths, the council need to get out.
It is a lovely area just to go and sit and have quiet time, read a book or do nothing. I did find it, with some xx help. Signed the log, replaced it back in its secret little spot, then back to our other mission.
Thanks for this cache Roostaman, Lil Donna

Happy Monday, I got an early morning call from JohnoMawbs asking if we would like to join him to do some local Geoing.
We had nothing planned for the day so Agreed to meet Johno and do some caches around town which some were missing or too many muggles about, We then Enjoyed a yummy lunch at the Plam and Pawn in North Wagga before I had to take the grumpy 2 year old home for a rest.
SL TNLN
Nice nifty hide, definitely worthy of a D4... The boys even had a play in the nearby playground... lol
Thanks Roostaman for placing this cache for us to enjoy.

With a 3 day weekend on hand, what better way to use one of them as a day of caching. I started my day off by asking [@AngusnmumyAdventures](http://coord.info/PRRD6GG) if they were able to come and they agreed to meetup and come along for the ride in the morning. After the morning of caching we had lunch at the Palm & Pawn over in North Wagga and then we went our separate ways mainly because Angus needed a rest. I then went to get some things from the shops and afterwards went to find some Trig-Points that have been on my to-do-list for quite some time. I quite enjoyed my day out. TB visit on all caches and I would like to thank all CO’s for placing the caches I found today and for the enjoyment they brought me.
Today’s Totals:
3 GC Finds
7 GCA Finds
3 Revisits
My second revisit of the day. This time I had AngusmumyAdventures with me. After arriving at GZ they got started searching and after a while I gave them a few small nudges and not long after they had the CIH. The hide has changed slightly since I found it back in November but still has the same difficulty as before. Thanks again Roostaman. On our way back to the cars we stopped off and had a play on some of the play equipment and looked though the binoculars at the top of the park.

8259 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1210. There are 2 ways to get to this by the streets, both from Farrer road. Our streak continues. SL Tnx Roostaman.
This very evil, nasty despicable cache, too us much tooooo long to find. Luckily for us we were meeting the CO at this cache as we could not find the street where he is living.
He stood by & watched our futile search, then had to give more hints.
We are feeling generous today as it is Bill's Birthday so a FP given
Glad to see the Difficulty rating higher.

Difficulty updated, it appears to be more difficult than first expected,
especially considering a very experienced team had much difficulty here.

With another day off, I decided to hit Wagga for my #1000! After a few failed attempts at making #1000 on other caches I wanted it to be, I decided on letting it become ‘Boring’ (GC1H5YN). It is very worthy for #1000 and a FP is heading its way. But before that I needed to make 3 finds (997, 998 and 999) as I only had 996 finds before I started the day. So I had 4 finds today (and a DNF) which ended my quest on making 1000 finds! All this and some more Christmas shopping lead to a great day out. TB visit on all found caches today. I would like to thank Fred6603 and Roostaman for the caches I found and for the fun while finding them.
After failing to find another one of Roosta's caches (as it was confirmed to be missing), I still needed another cache to be found. This one was the one as it helps with my 'Jasmer' Grid. After arriving at GZ I found a likely location but it was only 25mins later that I made the find for this one. It was quite a challenge. TFTC and bringing me to this park. I will need to return sometime to explore the area.

**FTF** After a good 10 mins I was close to conceding defeat on this one. Had the place to myself. Not even a muggle sheep was spotted. Phone in hand off I went poking and prodding and moving things around. Finally revealed itself to me in a spot I had missed a few times over. Doh! Cache guardian wasn’t home but I did upset the nest. eeeppp. First FTF for us in a while! Nice one. Now back to work. Haha.
