I found the cache but the top of the container is missing. Tried to find it but no success. It was either muggled or weather damaged.
After our last night based in the southern suburbs we are spending today cleaning up a few more solved puzzles before we move further afield.
This was one of only two Trads we added to our list today. We walked the ridge above Breaker Bay this morning and made our way to the Cone of Silence. Took a minute or two to spot the cache as we were expecting a different hide. Thanks.

School holiday mission to Miramar peninsula. Lovely walk to GZ. Quick find by junior.

Great hide! Charming.

Have been eyeing this one for a while. Decided to go on an evening stroll to check out storm damage. Nothing major. Cache in place too, although slowly losing its magnets... TFTC!
Another cache I thought I had enabled after our lockdown! Yikes! Enabled as of... NOW!
Disabling this while in level 4 lockdown as per guidance from here:
https://wiki.groundspeak.com/plugins/servlet/mobile?contentId=15503711#content/view/15503711
I will re-enable this cache once this region is at level 2.

Seems like a very popular track had to duck in between muggles to grab this one. My highlight of the day with this cache !!!!
A very clever cache hide that took a few minutes but soon spotted. Loved the pun in the title and certainly a Favourite. Now on ward to Ataturk Memorial.
Took a couple of circuits despite having a good idea what to look for and when I paused I realised it was right in front of me!
The system holding it in place needs to be adjusted in order to avoid potential damage to the host, and this is likely to be needed to be done periodically.

After a spot of plane spotting nearby, myself along with my geo-pal Demainiac set our sights on this one. It was pouring with rain as we approached GZ but that didn't stop us. We found the right tree ok but it took us a while to locate the cache. Once we did we realised that it is very cool! So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. We both really appreciate it. TFTC! This one gets a favourite point from me.
Our first ever, cache! Thank you very much, found this today with my kids 9 and 13 but we forgot to bring a pen. Thoroughly enjoyed it, such a great camouflage.
A fun cache with a magnificent view, afterwards walked a bit further along track and more amazing views to be had. All tucked away safe and dry again. Favourite point from me. TFTC.
Quick little perve to make sure things are as they should be, all looking good!

Ha! What a cool one! I must have walked past that a hundred times over the years
Out for a walk in the sunshine before I needed to be at the airport. Stunning views framed at game zone. And a cool hide. Thanks for the cache.
Wet walk this afternoon with Matagouri. This was the first of this style of cache I have seen so my eyes have been opened slightly more. TFTC
Took me a few minutes to spot this, great camouflage! Cache in perfect order. Tftc!
Tried to find this a few days ago but stabbed my head in the progress so gave it away until today. I feel sill to miss it the first time but managed today. The log is very dry and not surprising as there are 4 plastic bags protecting it. Fav point from us.
Good walk to site and nice quick find with woolwood9 today.

Fantastic cache in a stunning spot. Made me laugh out loud when I spotted the cache despite knowing what I was looking for. Definitely deserving of a favourite point. TFTC.
I had a good idea of what we were looking for, but needed to look up a bit more! Very clever design, well worth an FP! TFTC jerry_nz.
Last one here before I headed tot he airport to collect the boys. Very clever. An instant FP - despite it being a bit windy up here this evening. TFTC
I came up here in search of a puzzle and found this fun hide along the way. Managed to spike my head with a sharp branch but its all in a day's caching! Thank for the great hide jerry.nz - worth a favourite. TFTC # 14, 739
What an awesome cache design. Walked around the tree a few times, then read one of the comments from a previous find..took a photo to show my boys who missed this hunt. Thank you
Yay! The first day of daylight saving after work finished meant I had time to get home, changed into caching clothes and go for a nice decent evening walk - with the aim of grabbing a cache. It's been quite a while since I've walked along this track. Enjoyed the views and the friendly muggles also making the most of daylight savings time.
A little bit of searching at the GZ until I spotted a well constructed cache, which gets a FP.

With a couple of hours up my sleeve I came down to Wellington for a bit of south coast caching. This was first up for the day which I got to after a short walk on a very pleasant walkway. About 20m away from GZ I suddenly realized what the cache title was about and had a good idea of what I was going to be looking for. Sure enough after just a few seconds at GZ I spotted something which was excellently camouflaged but at the same time catches your eye. Another awesome cache from jerry_nz. +FP and TFTC!
Hasn't been found in a while so the kids and I double checked it today.
Very dry and lovely.
Please bring your own pen.

#6896. I was over in Miramar for a short visit dropping off my daughter and so had time to pick up a few nearby caches. I checked the path access on street view and arriving today it was clearly the best way to access this cache. Some nice south coast ngaio forest along this path, Once at GZ I had a quick circle around before I saw something a bit different but also fitting in nicely with the scenery. What an interesting container. Haven't seen one like that previously. Unraveled the protective layers and soon had the dry cache in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced everything as found. Thanks jerry_nz for setting up this enjoyable cache along a path way I haven't been on previously.
Had a bit of time to fill while we waited to pick someone up from the airport so raced around getting caches. Quick find, very nice cache Enjoyed the walk. TFTC
Temporarily disabling this cache after a report from a fellow cacher that the container is a little busted. Will fix this in a day or two and re-enable. Thanks!
A short walk along quite a pleasant track. Sure I've walked it before but can't remember when. Got to the final location and spotted the container pretty quickly. Nice container slightly different to previous ones I've found. Then it was a dash back to the car to head off to my next meeting. Cheers and TFTC
A quick trip out to a part of Wellington I rarely visit. Stumped at GZ looking 180° away. Took a moment to think and quickly spotted what I came for.

Cache # 4,755 - A nice easy walk to the GZ and an instant find there. Have seen similar hides, but none quite the same as this. Well worth a favourite point. TNLNSL. TFTC!

After being buoyed by the completion of one of my more memorable caching experiences courtesy of the same cache owner, I was looking forward to seeing what this one was all about. This time, my GPSr didn't take me to a hint object and I managed to kid myself into thinking there may be something tricky involved. Eventually, I returned to a site I had checked earlier and a better look second time around produced the goods, I had an idea about the nature of the idea and I was mostly correct. However, this is much better than others of the same category. I retrieved the Mr Construction Travel Bug that wants to go to Nauru; not something I can help with so I will look to soon place it elsewhere.
Walking past this one today and gave it a quick check. All good and dry. Pencil is missing so please bring your own.
Dropped a trackable in there also

Can't believe the 6 year old found it before me! I was starting to wish I'd bought gloves if you know what I mean!!!
We missed the turnoff to the suggested parking so approached from the other end. This took us on a path we hadn’t been on before and this together with the fine view at GZ and the very cool cache container earns it a FP from me. TFTC
I took my granddaughter (Missy B) out for a caching walk this afternoon.
A nice way to spend some quality time with her on the Southern Walkway.
I kept bumping my head but eventually I found a place to stand tall and spot the hide.
We both though that it is a very cool container.

Was looking at finding a cache today as I was having a break from doing some work around home so I decided that I would check my GPSr and see what was sill out there that I had yet to find. I saw this cache on my list of unfound caches and decided that this would fit the bill. Having being up here before looking for another cache from the same CO I knew where I needed to go to find the walkway to the cache.
The drive to the parking co-ordinates were quite easy as I had already being here before and as I made my way near GZ, I was able to find a safe parking spot not too far from the walkway entrance and from there I made my way towards GZ, having being on this walkway previously not too long ago I knew what to expect for part of the way. The walk was very pleasant, I even had a chance to take a few seconds to enjoy the views and managed to watch the landing of a couple of planes in the distance.
The walk to GZ really didnt take too long and I was soon there before I realised it as my GPSr gave me a beep and then it was just a matter of finding the cache, as I made my way around I soon spotted something that required a closer look and I soon realised that it was the cache.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where I found it. Thanks jerry_nz for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (14084). WOW that was another very well constructed cache and deserves a favourite point indeed.
Time to make my way back to the car and head home to continue with some more chores, was glad to get a chance to have a break.

Had a nearby dropoff this morning, and I didn't want to fight the rush hour traffic back into town just yet, so used my time productively by finding this cache. I did what the description said, and followed the GPSr, which made it a nice easy find. Cache all snug in its three layers of bags. -TB. TFTC.
(# 4827). Woke up to a still, dry morning so decided to grab a few caches around the south coast. A great morning for a walk. Really enjoyed the wonderful views. A quick find of a nice hide. Everything in order. TFTC
Sweet cache! Up here with the whole family for a walk in the sun. Wife was first to spot the cache as the kids got excited and thought they had to climb right up the tree. TFTC
I was in the Eastern suburbs this afternoon with a bit of time in hand so decided to go for a walk and have a look for this one. Fine, calm and warm weather with beautiful views along the way made it a very enjoyable experience. It didn't take too long to spot the cache, what a nicely done container! I haven't seen one like that before and I'm impressed. Signed log (that one isn't going to get wet any time soon!) - thanks for the cache and for bringing me here. Worth a favourite point.
I came for a walk along the ridge to come grab this one. I reached GZ without issue and spotted the main hint object. It took a while to locate the cache as I was misreading part of the hint, but once I took notice of what the cache name was referring to I soon spotted the nicely camouflaged container. Left a trackable I picked up at the Mega. Day 36 of my 50-day streak attempt. TFTC+FP
#750. Curses, beaten by huhugrub by 39 min for FTF. You can have the finger! Nice breezy walk on a track never been on before. Tftc -nice hide.
#10,457. {FTF} at 11:11 and first day find. A very nice walk on a cloudy Saturday morning – before the rain started later in the day. There were a few walkers and dog walkers on the track, which afforded very good views at various spots. Fortunately, GZ itself was pretty quiet when we were there. Found after a short search. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Good hide.
