This one has its own pencil. But with the magic of a hot pocket, I managed to get the old pen back in action. Will make sure I drop by the first one on the way back to the car.
If you have to cross the train tracks youre on the wrong side. Doable just check both ways beforehand. Easily located cache, thanks.
Found a throwdown but not the original cache. Same size and in place so it can stand in for the moment
20:27Working off dinner at the pub with a walk back to the station, I still had twenty minutes to spare... so how many in this series could I find in the dark without missing the train? Two, it turns out. I'd have been pushing it for a third, and there still would have been one left, so discretion won out and I'll be back some other time. Thanks, _BFMC_.And so, after ten klicks and a fine meal with Bushfire and friends, it's back to Southern Cross I go.#7944
I was in Geelong waiting to catch the Spirit of Tasmania late this afternoon and as had found one of this series during my last visit I decided to attempt the other three. This was a quick find Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for our challenge and enjoyment.
Over 2 years ago I started this series.
Time to put a smiley on the rest.
Nice little walk to all the GZ's.
The suv came handy for a park!
This was another quick sign and move on.

This was third on my stroll near and along the bike path this afternoon. I went a little high at first but once at the right level, I soon spotted the stash at 17:05.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks _BFMC_.

The end of a days caching in Geelong, and I decided to finish in the area with this little stroll. No problems with the first four...they were all found without issue, however number 5 eluded me. Log here was signed and I was soon back on the path and heading towards the next one.
Thanks BFMC....cache here all good.

GMelb had a meeting at 96three FM yesterday morning so we decided to make a mini break out of it and stay a night here. After checking out of the nearby accommodation this morning, it was cool and overcast so we decided to head here as it was perfect weather to be doing a walking series. We decided to do them in the orrder 1,3,5,6,4,2 so that we would be stopping for breaks both ways lol So this was the last one for us in the series as we had felt that #9 was just a bit too far for this trip as we wanted to do the DoTW challenges and then get to Bellbrae, Bells Beach and Torquay so we turned around at #6. Cache was nice easy find

We visited Mr Dromaniax, ex PA, providing her with some paperwork from our previous business and wanted to find a cache while we were in Geelong. As we were in the general vicinity, we thought we would find another cache in this series, but only one today as we want to keep some localish caches until we start travelling.
We parked near the end of the boulevard and walked our way to this cache.
After a short search, we soon had the cache in hand.
The cache is in good condition. Thank you for this cache _BFMC_

On our way home with BogongHazy we decided to bypass the bypass and make a few quick finds along the bike trail. Thanks to BFMC for placing this great little series
On the way home from our little break on the coast this morning with Littleboss2, we couldn't go past this great little series. Our thanks to BFMC for placing these to bring us along here.

We are scheduled to finally come out of our household COVID induced ISO early next week. While replacing missing caches from the series we will check on this one.
Found with McAdies and Jelly_Bean14.
I had a great time out here finding these geocaches.
Thanks for hiding this geocache for us to find today.

Started hassling hard for the last one along this series as I felt a cheeky raindrop or two and knew we were waiting for some mad rain.
Swapped my phone with the cache so I could actually see and log the book ( sorry guys took my phone back)
Was a great nighttime stroll, very easy and pleasant as I didn’t see a single muggle at all.

I wish I was able to get out about today to enjoy the beautiful spring sun but was unfortunately bunkered down in the home office working....BAH. I felt like i deserved some outside time so a night cache it is. I've been wanting to hit up this series for a while but I'm never over this side of town. Heaps of rubbish around, I guess it's all blowing away from the building sites close by...maybe a CITO is in order.
Cache was found enough Thank you

Found 1-6 today on a leisurely ride down Baanip bvd.
Traffic was rather light considering the current circumstances! Lots of building and construction going on in the area

I had to change my expectations for this one but the coords took me to it and the clue helped. TFTC
We hadn't put the bikes on this morning due to the weather forecast, but its not all that reliable Anyway we drove the length, stopping as we went to grab this little series. Most were straightforward finds that didn't give us any grief. Thanks _BFMC_ for your work.
We haven't spent much time in Geelong size we were married in 1978, but Mrs Ski spent many school holidays here visiting her grandparents and extended family. Gran was part of Geelong royalty being a Hickey and cousin to Reg, so her family is passionate Cats supporters. During our time here this week apart from all the caches we have found we have caught up with family, revisited lots of sites dear to her memory, and marvelled at all the changes. Her last visit to the Waurn Ponds Hotel was when it was in a paddock, her aunties house now has 4 modern units on the site instead, and the tiny little farmhouse on South Valley Road where her grandparents lived in the 1960's is now an extensively renovated large family home with inbuilt swimming pool and granny flat over the new garage. Its still on a double block on the corner of Nelson Ave, (mum's maiden name) with Cobden Rd on the other edge of the family land.

Cache had water inside and logbook too wet so replaced the container to a slightly smaller one with a new logbook and replaced it where we found the original one.

With The ring of Swiss cheese coming down we could now catch up with our Metro Mates, so once again I teamed up with Omegaman1971 and headed to the Geelong area to do some of the many labs and several caches in the area. We had a great time exploring the area. Today We started in Geelong but got a little frustrated with suburban caching so we headed to the Brisbane Ranges to do the Fun for kids trail.
This was one of the caches we found today. No bike riding for us just walk to them all, a few of the logs were a little wet.
Thanks BFMC for the cache.

Really enjoyed this series, great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Was a shame that some of the logs were water damaged.
Cheers for the cache

So good to get out doing caches again. Glad we didn't attempt this in Summer. The grass was very high and we got wet feet. Dog got wet too. Thanks for this series that helped us getting virtual wonders souvenirs. Water in the cache but the cache was dry.
Took a few minutes as it had obviously been misplaced since it’s last find in May.
We replaced it where it obviously belongs.

We traveled along this route today with ilook4geo and looked for all the caches along the way. We found and signed all except two, which we will have to DNF.
This one was a nice easy find and the log was soon signed with two more names, before we moved on to the next hide. Thank you to _BFMC_ for this nice little series.

Out to do some caching today with goingplaces2 and had a fairly good run. This was one of our successful finds which did not take very long at all. Log was signed and replaced. TFTC.
We were out an about on the bikes with RedGeoDevil and thought we thought we could tick this series off our list. Awesome little hide, Favourite point from us. TFTC
DNF first time past but gave it another go on the way back.
Nice simple series of cached. Will have to finish them off next time.

We continued our walk along the path to cache number 2. We enjoyed the explanation of the name of the path even so Mrs Y'stassie still expected to be nipped on the heels by an enthusiastic sheep dog.
We have seen these containers used for caches in the past so spotted this one from the track. This container, like others we have found, was full of water and as the plastic bag protecting the logbook was not closed the log was very damp and it was difficult to sign our team name without tearing the log paper. We put the log in a new bag.
Thanks for this cache in the Baanip series _BFMC_ . This cache is in need of urgent maintenance.

Today I headed out on a bit of a road trip to Beaufort and then Geelong for a couple of events as well as the new musical note Wherigo caches with jascat, biggles1024 and buhfuhguh.
With the Wherigo series and both events under our belt, we decided to give this series a crack before heading for home.
All were fairly easy finds except one which had us going in circles for a little while.

Ah, what a day, after an early rise this morning I drove to meet up with Stemicmitsar, Biggles1024 and Jascat for a day of caching out west. With our main goal being 2 events and some musical wherigos. A rather big day nevertheless. With us finishing our hunt and me getting home from the trip at 2am this morning. Thanks for the cache and being a part of a great day out caching.

Find #3624**
**Traditional Cache Find #2452**
The day dawned fine and cool. SteMicMitSar, Jascat, Buhfuhgah and I headed over to the other side of the bay to attend two events and to find a number of new Wherigos at Beaufort. We were now on our way home but still looking for caches of interest. We looked at the map and spotted this series which looked like it would be a series of Park 'N Grabs. That's not quite how it is, but with a nice, wide and flat path, we decided that walking was the best way to do it, with Steve bringing up his car at various intervals.

Hunting for Museum clues with my rubber boots on today before lunch. The log was damp here which is a bit funny as it probably shouldn’t be. Thanks BFMC.
After recently being upgraded to a detective to help solve a case of some missing jewels, I picked up detective DAB to start our case. It was a wild, wet and windy morning just the way we like it as it meant civilian muggles would not be about to damage the crime scene. Thankfully the very old detective mobile's heater was working. We put on our flashing lights and went off in search of a few caches this morning. For some strange reason only one of our finds today gave us a clue? I'm not sure what geocaching is doing about the others. At this rate I'll never solve the mystery...
The GPSr played havoc here putting us forward then back then we spotted something we had both seen plenty of times, aha! Got you. Log was quite damp in this hide.

We have been wanting to do this trail for awhile now but things just always got in the way. Today we thought the weather was going to be one of those 'things' that just stood between us and Baanip, but no, we were able to walk the trail with some afternoon sunshine, enjoying the various hides, rain free.
We had heard a rumour about this type of hide from the CO, so we were not surprised to see one here sitting in a logical spot.
Thanks BFMC for placing some caches along the Boulevard for us and others to enjoy.

It was a nice day so I decided to go caching and this was one of them. An easy find today. Slightly different.
I was heading for the Creation Celebration event and targetted a nearby puzzle cache, but failed to load my calculated guess into the GPS so couldn't search for it. With a lot of other puzzles nearby, I bypassed them and headed to this series. Quick find, spotted from some distance away.
Thanks for the cache, _BFMC_.

Crack'n'LeeLee asked if I would be interested in joining them along this trail, I replied "certainly ".
Then had to decline the offer due to an unforeseen meeting which was then cancelled, so a quick message back and the walk was on again.
An enjoyable walk along this trail with the threat of rain in the air.
Log signed and replaced as found.
