The RFS will be burning off in the area next week so I will be removing the containers this weekend. Also, I need to re-route the walk between #9 and #10 to bypass the now private land.
Out doing the wv bushwalk quick find on to the next one Swaped the bushies pathtag for one of mine
Taking the chance while the weather is a bit cooler before it heats up in the bush. A nice stroll to pick up a few caches with Rosie. Can you spot her in the photo? She is a great help. Nice hide.Left a Bushies path tag All good. Thanks HappyUke for the hide.
Found it.
Enjoyed the bush walk with Robyn60 & andysbs68, thanks for the series.

Good walk in the bush to find these. Will have to come back to complete the rest. Thanks for placing them here HappyUke.
Enjoying the bush walk with Geospark62 saw a wallaby. Quick find signed and replaced as found. TFTC HappyUke.
Nice bushwalk with dog on a sunny day, to find the nine caches, on the walk. Found 8 of them, but failed at finding the final cache, number 9, climbed right on top, but could not find the cache. The other 8 at the start were trickier than the later ones. Thanks for the great area to explore and find caches. Tftc
Did this loop before getting into the daily grind. I’ll be back when number two is resurrected but today was a lovely stroll along the trail. Really enjoyed my time out here today with the Hume Highway humming along contrasted against the bush. All caches were found quickly and I really appreciated the 5k steps that I picked up. TFTC
The "REMOTE" series was published yesterday while I was at work, and this morning I was surprised to see FTF still unclaimed. Lockdown is no doubt having an effect - it's certainly been a quiet year of caching so far for me. But with no other plans Charlicorn and I made our way out here to try and find them. Afterwards we did the "VW Bushwalk" series as well, of which I'd only found #1 and Charlicorn hadn't found any. On the way home we grabbed the "This time I'll get it right" puzzle I'd solved recently and a couple of nearby traditionals. All up 6 FTFs for us, 18 caches in total for me, 19 for Charlicorn, and all from the same CO. So, thanks to HappyUke for a great day out! With state-wide lockdown being declared at 5pm as we were finishing up, it seems we timed our day out perfectly - it might be a while before we can go caching again.
Another quick find by Charlicorn here. TFTC!

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the NSW Southern Highlands for a short midweek caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Mittagong Caravan Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas around Mittagong, Bowral, Mount Gibraltar, and Box Vale. Hoping to collect a variety of cache types, including some Earthcaches and Wherigos and previously solved Puzzle caches, and to also complete some of the Adventure Labs in the area. This was our 13th find of the day, and 13th find of the holiday.
Continuing along the trail this was the next cache we came to, and it was yet another nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. It's very peaceful out here this afternoon. TFTC HappyUke.

4th in the series done and still enjoying the walk! We can see the terrain starts to decline severely so it will be interesting to see where the walk takes us. Thanks for the cache!
Not far to walk off the track for this one which was nicely hidden. Thanks for a good hide.
Catching up on logging all my finds since i joined in July. This one took a few minutes but we got there in the end tftc!
This one took us a moment as we were searching the wrong area of this structure. But of course after a little more exploration, there she was. Tftc!
Another quick find, a nice stretch of the legs on the way back to Canberra

Found -- 11:41 am -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *HappyUke*.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.
Signed log and returned cache to its hide'y hole. OCW the usual other legs in tow. Loving this bushwalk, and I have to say that even though I took the opposite direction the incline through here was very nice, not the actual walk up the incline, but the scenery and the terrain up through here. I actually didn't mind the incline, geez, thats a first. The view at the top was pretty.

With the Oz Geomuster in our backyard, Team MavEtJu and I took the opportunity to pick up a few caches before attending the event at the Cataract Scout Park.
Another straightforward find in this peaceful piece of bush.

Driving to Canberra for the Queen’s Birthday long weekend. A beautiful day to be driving around the slow route there and enjoying the sights and caches placed in the countryside by our awesome cache owners. This is great Cache walk In the Willow Vale area. TFTC HappyUke.
Out on a morning of caching with Bonfire7. Thought we would attack this series. Slightly overcast and quite chilly but a perfect day for a stroll. TFTC
I cracked up here as the geotrail shows everyone's else's gps must all do the same thing here.
A quick find after walking the circle

Having negotiated a 4-day weekend I took the opportunity to head to the highlands for a spot of geocaching. Most of my finds for the day were done on the bike and with such good weather there was no better way to get around.
Did this series on the bike and really enjoyed it. Managed to ride the bike down to #5 and pushed it up from #8 to #9.
Thanks

Walked the start of the WV Bushwalk series today to get a sense of the terrain and time to make the loop. Grabbed #4 and mentally noted the others for future reference. Easy find, TFTC
Parked behind another car near #1 and thought, what an usual place for someone to park. That is until I saw all the geocaching stickers on it! We must have been close on Jackscruff's tail for this series (we did eventually meet her).
What a great series for the kids. I'm hesitant to assume sole adult responsibility for bush caching with 3 geokids under 10 but this series was a great and fairly safe (only a couple of fall risks and any falls weren't going to be from accidental slips). Even the caches were easy to find and didn't require going off trail. I'm so impressed at how kid friendly it was.
#4, geo 7 yr old run off up the trail but was searching in the wrong spot. Geo 9 yr old walked around and had CIH much to 7 yr olds frustration - 'I knew it would be there!'.

Along the track from #3 to #4 there were dozens and dozens of small birds.
I spent a long time in this area watching the birds, many Spotted Pardalotes and mostly honeyeaters. I really enjoyed this section of the walk, such great bushland, and was so busy watching the birds, my other hobby, that I overshot the mark for the cache and had to retrace my steps to GZ.
Soon had CIH, SL and then spent some more times watching the birds.

I love this hide series - perfect for little kids - just the right amount of caches to keep them interested and some danger elements to keep them (and their parents) on their toes - thank you so much!

Came out for a nice walk and checked on cache... yep it is still there
Hint: don’t leave any log unturned

On our way to a week in Callala Bay. Beautiful scenic drive brought us here with geo mom and dad, Strandlopers. Nice easy series, loved the walk! This specific cache is not here! Must be lost, we were at exact co-ords and the cache is not there. Thanks
Three things happened today....public holiday, sleep in, kids still had to go to school....perfect conditions for fitzy_1965 and I to take a quick trip up the highway for some afternoon caching.
Next was the Willow Vale Bushwalk series. We thought about only doing a few if it was too hot but ended up doing them all. Meet with some overactive puppies on the lower section and saw them again later when the finished. Apparently, they (and their owner) go for a walk down there everyday and aren't used to seeing other people so aren't always on leash. They are all bark if you happen to run into them.
Anyway, all caches were found quickly now we are on the actual track!. We really enjoyed the walk. Thanks HappyUke!

17,706. Found during a short Canberra Day Holiday Monday trip up to Mittagong with minniek.
Gotta love an ACT holiday - kids in school leaving us to our own devices. What to do? Let's go caching ! We headed up the Hume late in the morning to do what turned out to be a 'HappyUke' caching experience - with 19 of the 20 caches found belonging to this CO. We concentrated on the 'bike ride' series (which we walked/did by car) and this WV series (which we of course walked). Next find of the day. Continuing along the gentle trail we soon came to this one. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks HappyUke !! All good ! Nice gentle walk...

This was a much needed cache for getting our increasingly inflating ego back in check. Having seen that all caches to this point were easy finds in the obvious spot, when we didn't find the cache easily in the obvious spot here, our minds straight away assumed it was gone. After realising that had we approached this cache with no prior knowledge we would never have assumed it was gone after checking only one spot, so pulled our socks up and actually had a proper look and what do you know, there it was. TFTC
Agree with previous log about taking longer than it should have as I looked in the wrong spot first! TFTC
I had the idea of finding the caches in this series early this morning after the new year's celebration, but decided get some sleep first.
Now a bush walk in the heat of day.
Thanks for the caches.

Found on a very warm afternoon. A nice series in some great country. Found OK.

Thanks,
Was actually only going for a run in Camden, but while sweating and driving home I somehow found myself on a detour via Picton to the highlands and picked up a few caches on the way before visiting the event at Lake Alexandra. As I had the bike in the car I needed to do a few caches in this area as well to save bringing the bike next time. Had set myself 12 pm as a limit and only shortly after I finished the bike and walk series around Breamar. Stasrted to drive home and couldn;t resist in doing the Red hills caches as well, all good and easy finds, thanks!
