Beautiful silo art, but no cache. The area had a good clean up in recent times.
DNF. Is this cache still there?? Area looks like it’s been tidied up and trees trimmed recently
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
Off to the west coast for a Holiday. [^] Holiday Sal Style that is. We are sightseeing - if there happens to be a cache there - great - get it. Luckily caches are in really interesting spots anyway.
Day 7: Coffin Bay to Port Lincoln via Cummins and Tumby Bay - As you do.
So much silo art to see. A quick stop and a quick find.
***Thanks mitch_0018 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Managed to find a tiny bit of space to sign.
A new log is desperately needed.

Stopped in at Tumby Bay for diesel but all was closed. On our way our we saw the silo are which we didn't know was there. So we stopped for a look and a photo, and for me, to find a cache. Yet again it's hubby to spy it 'is this it?' and yes it was. I signed the log and placed back. TFTC!

Quick find once the muggles had moved on. Nice bit of silo art, and very impressed with the effort gone into the viewing and parking area. Well done Tumby Bay.
A quick find once some muggles moved on. A great effort has gone into the area and the art. A top tourist draw for sure. TFTC
What a fantastic silo art. Love the beach and can see me doing that off the jetty. TFTC
We are staying in Pt Lincoln for a couple of nights on the first leg of our trip to WA and today we were visiting friends in Lipson for lunch. On the way back we stopped in here to look at the silo art and find a couple of caches for another LGA off my list.
Cache was quickly found while admiring the artwork.
Thanks for the cache.

Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So then it was down to the Eyre Peninsula to see the sites down there Venus Bay, Coffin Bay National Park and Lincoln National Park were some highlights and I will come back again to have a better look around.
So after nearly 2 weeks spent on the Eyre Peninsula it was time to start heading back to Victoria but another lockdown in Vic has just occurred so now to change my plans again.
So Port Germaine was my next target for the night.
Another morning spent driving in the rain as I have not had the best weather on this trip what ever happened to summer.
First port of call was here at Tumby Bay Silos, I have down a few silos in the past few months and each one is very individual and all of the artists have done great work on there canvas.
I soon located this one and added my name to the log and now to continue my journey.
Thanks mitch_0018 TFTC.

On a road trip around the Mid North and Eyre Peninsula, geocaching as I go. Predominantly targeting old caches, solved mysteries and grabbing some interesting looking traditionals.
Another quick find. Really impressive artwork here. Thanks for showing it to me.
Thanks for the cache mitch_0018.

Finding caches along the way as we headed to Lincoln National Park for a few days .
Great location, but we're a bit surprised this cache survives here .

As H423L said, some more nice silo art added to the collection. Indeed there seems to be a lack of non-painted ones now in famous spots such as this. A few pics included. Martin did a great job [^]
Thanks to mitch_0018 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Another solo art to add to the collection. This seems to be an ever growing list and it is always fun to spot another one. TFTC
Found it ,Great container Love the location .I think this size should be micro was smaller than expected .
TFTC, checked out the silo art what amazing talent and was sceptical about finding as hasnt been logged for 2 months, alas there it is and found

Brad has injured both his hamstrings when a scoundrel tried to steal his bicycle. The thief was caught and when last seen was being loaded into a Police car to head off to the Poice Station to assist the Police with their inquiries.
As a result of these injuries Brad is quite limited in his movements and may be for some time. With well over 500 draft logs sitting waiting to be caught up on that has provide the excuse to got back and deal with some of these outstanding logs. They do go back some time and with 500+ it may take a while to get through them all. Apologies to any CO where Brad's detrailed memory of the find has faded a little.

Well that was front and centre! Great art

Went for a drive across to Coffin Bay today, and although geocaching was not the main item on the agenda, managed to collect a few caches along the way - an assortment of caches with high favourite points, ones to fill gaps in my DT grid, old caches and a few fandoms that happened to be near where we pulled over for a break. All caches were quickly located with most in reasonable condition. TFTC
A 2 week tour of the West Coast started in Streaky Bay, then to Coffin Bay, then to Tumby Bay and finally a couple of days in Whyalla.
All caches were in good condition unless I've posted a Needs Maintenance log.
A windy day as we toured the back blocks of Tumby Bay.

This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a trip to Eyre Peninsula, primarily visiting Port Lincoln and its surroundings. We saw its famous marina full of trawlers, and we also ended up visiting Coffin Bay and enjoyed fresh oysters. A nice weekend with weather, and certainly a great vicinity to see.
Today leaving Whyalla, we headed down the Lincoln Highway, passing through Cowell, Cleve, Arno Bay, Port Neill, and Tumby Bay. Just prior to lunch, we also completed the *Cleve Cleaver* geoart trail. A rather long day of geocaching numbers, but the inland and coastal towns were enjoyable to visit, along with the various picturesque beaches along the way.
This was really cool silo art, and it's great to see Tumby Bay promoting the photography of this silo. Sunset wasn't the best time to come here though, and sunrise would be best. It didn't take long to find this cache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks mitch_0018 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Stopped by this one on the road, a quick find was made cache is all good
Today davidwazza and I made our way from Whyalla to Port Lincoln as part of a weekend away to clean up as much as we could. Today was filled with some good and bad times, plus a few car issues along the way but all in all a great day out and 105 caches found in total.
Thanks for the cache

Enjoyed driving many country roads of the Eyre Peninsula, looking at the crops, great views and finding caches

Loved this one! Was tiny! The silo art is beautiful too, well worth a visit! TFTC
Love the art, nobody around so we could have a good search - spotted - it is not a solar light ! So be careful not to pull it apart like we did. Left a lucky heart shaped Chinese Year of the Goat token. This gave me a tick for Tumby Bay LGA in the GCA LGA Challenge. TFTC. 2BluFish
Great silo art. Need to walk to the end of the path to see the painting without any gaps.
