Found our very 1st cache today. Well not me exactly but the hubby did. Son was busy taking pics of massive pigs and the two dogs were trying kill themselves via wild flying hawks. I was the one with the phone busy working out coordinates and suddenly it was all over. Hmmm. Was very exciting nonetheless. Unfortunately the paper was too wet to write on. But I have evidence. Stealth was definitely a requirement.

After finding the multi cache at the nearby cemetery we headed over to look for this one and felt a little awkward as we had no dog with us but decided to boldly enter the dog park as if we did.
Fortunately there weren't too many dogs and their owners around and the few who were there were busy playing with their dogs so we walked along beside the perimeter fence and largely went unnoticed except for one muggle and his dog who were quite close to GZ and came over for a sniff (the dog not the muggle).
Once at GZ we soon spotted the cache and signed the log before returning the way we came.
A young boy who didn't look much older than 12 months was in the process of shutting the gate for his dad and proudly held it open for us to let us through for which we thanked him very much.
There was a coffee cart in the carpark and the lady was just packing up but we got to her just in time to buy an ice cream.
Thanks KayGeeDee for the cache.

I this was a fun little thing to find I walked past it like 4 times but I found it in the end if you are going to find it bring a pen to sign your name bc someone took it.
An early morning stroll around the dog park with out a dog...but found a cache. Thanks
Its a dog park with absolutely no dog poo. So well looked after by all who use it. I had a good idea where it was based on the clue but the placement was awesome. Really enjoyed my little wander and got to say hi to a furry friend on the way back to my car. TFTC!
Found it this is our 1st one. Family of 4 plus dog living in leamington Cambridge.
It has been a long time since Team SEAC did a numbers day, so we jumped on the chance to join when Keylev initiated this day. We started at 8 am and got home around 11 pm, and attempted most caches in Cambridge, Te Awamutu and finishing with a night cache in Huntly. On our mission today was Keylev, UncleSamNZ, Liverkiwi, Draffin, B4Dawn and HeMaLuDy. Caches were signed with SEAC to save space.
This is a well used park and we felt a bit conspicuous entering as a group, without a dog. Especially when one of the dog owners approached us and asked if we were geocaching. She had spotted us earlier in the day in another part of town - she had done a small amount of geocaching in the past so knew a bit about what we were doing. We headed to GZ, made a quick find and sign and headed on our way (having another quick chat to the lady on our way out again.

My first full day with Team SEAC! Very excited and a little intimidated! Very fun!
Very nice dog park, without a dog... nothing suspicious here!! Tftc

It had been quite a while since Team SEAC had been on a caching road trip together so a plan was hatched for a day trip to clear out Cambridge. It was a long but fun day, as we cleared out Te Awamutu as well, with the promise of not leaving it so long before our next roadie. All caches were signed SEAC to save space.
This was find #21 for the day. On our way to GZ we were asked if we were geocaching... the lady had seen us earlier in another part of Cambridge. Clearly our stealth skills need improving. Cache quickly located at GZ, TFTC!

Like the Willy Nelson song, Team SEAC were On The Road Again. It had been quite a while since we had gathered to go on a road trip, so a trip to Cambridge was organised to clear out that town. All logs signed as S.E.A.C to preserve log space.
We were all rather impressed with the number of areas around Cambridge for dogs to get their daily exercise. As we were heading over to GZ a member of the public out exercising their dog, came towards us and asked if we were Geocaching. Apparently, their son had been into it when they were younger but has now lost interest. We offered that they join us, but they declined as they were with a friend.
Once we made it to GZ, we found the cache rather quickly and signed the log. We wondered how many of the dog exercising muggles out there thought it strange that a group of non-dog exercising people were in their domain doing strange things.

A number of Team SEAC banded together for a road trip day out targeting Cambridge and surrounds and ending up with a night cache. As per usual there were laughs, dramas, cache finding and a generally fun day!
No dogs with us today although by the end of the day we had seen so many dog excercise areas (just a little envious as they are really good). Met a lady who had spotted us somewhere earlier in the area who knew about caching and asked us if thats what we were up to....oops. Quick find and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache.

I didn't expect to find a KayGeeDee cache here today!
Really like the outer container and the way it works.... Fave Point.
Interesting past history too.
I don't have a dog photo so here is a Jan photo....

A lovely sunny day in Cambridge.
Grounds very quiet.
No one playing rugby and no dogs.

Roadtrip time, day 2.
Seeing as this is Easter weekend, I have taken 4 days leave next week to get in a driving tour, hoping to get as far north as 90 mile beach in order to seek the recently published PWGT caches throughout Northland, as well as catch up with 4 different sets of friends.
Seeing as I was visiting friends in Cambridge, I used the opportunity to find some caches I haven't previously looked for. My friends are avid Pokemom Go people, and there is a location nearby that they often visit which gave me a chance to walk over and look for this one.
No problems finding the cache, and no issues with the log etc so once signed everything was replaced back exactly as found.
Thanks for placing this cache.

On a belated Xmas break with family in Cambridge. No dog, so approached across the rugby fields to avoid attention in dog exercise area. All good. Tftc!

I had known that this cache was right opposite my sister's new house in Cambridge and so today was the day to make a find. However after driving down from Waihi Beach I was quite tired but my nephew's and niece still wanted to go find it. So with very explicit instructions I sent them off and watched from the house - they said Aunty said my minions can go find the cache for me. We biked there and it wasn't the corner Aunty told us (bad aunty) it was the other corner. Miss A said they found it easily enough and Master L said it was quite hard but loved finding the log. Thanks for the leg work young ones
Thanks for cache. I'm out and about enjoying Cambridge after working here this morning
Long weekend, staying at local holiday park. Saturday evening after dinner, wandered over here. Just getting dark, wandered across the rugby fields. No dog for company tho. Soon spotted, then the clue made sense. Got the log paper out, it is quite new. Signed and replaced. Nice way to finish the day. Have an FP. TFTC
Last one for today. Nice find. I was running like crazy acting like a dog because we didn’t bring our dog. -Today we found 10/10
Supporting the wife with a women’s squash tournament at the nearby club so had some time to come past and find this one. Nice quick fine but had a muggle close by making it slightly harder.
Short trip away with woolwood9.
Nice find for us today.
*Thanks for giving us a reason to visit!*
Signed log: **tm/ww NZ** (may be a black smudge on plastic logs)

Nice quick easy find to start the day. And not too many 2 or 4 legged muggles.
As we are going to level 2 at midnight which allows for geocaching to start up again I am enabling all my caches. It is still level 2 so we still need to be careful out there. Please take precaution when handling the containers and think of your fellow cachers. Use sanitizers where possible. So take care and lets go caching again.
I have decided to disable all my caches because of the covid-19 level 4 lockdown.
I have noticed that there is still a number of cachers out there that are finding caches that are not within their "Local Area". I am sure that whilst they maybe taken all reasonable steps to ensure their safety they are not adhering to the rules of "remaining in your home" Therefore I am putting all my caches on Hold until the government lift the restrictions.
No logs will be accepted during this period and apologize for any inconvenience.

I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #935.
Great cache. Of all the times I've walked my dog here and haven't done it as iIkeep forgetting a pen so today made a special trip to get it without my dog.
Tfgc!

Raining today so no muggles. The clue is good. Careful though could be deceptive.
Heading home from Rotorua and there is always time for some more caches so a few in Cambridge seemed like a good way to pick up a few more. Nice wander across the grassy field and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks
I have no dog so I also came through the rugby club. I don't have any little ones playing rugby either so it was a fast walk to grab the cache while parents were out setting up for today's games. I signed both logs because I could, now I wonder if I can claim two finds.
No dogs at nite, floodlights from the rugby ground and phone torch helped find it. TFTC
