I visited this earth cache in a day with spectacular weather. The wind was blowing so strongly I couldnt hear anything else and the sea was angrily grasping both onto the shore and quite a way out to sea. This is a beautiful place. Ill have to visit again one day in calmer weather. TFTC
Great morning to be out exploring. Visiting from the blue mountains spending time with the fam. Glorious weather at the beach. Answers sent. Thanks for brining us here. Tftc
I usually struggle to do Earthcaches as Geology isn't my strong point. But we really enjoyed this Earthcache! We headed here to do some birdwatching, but the birds were elusive. However, an earthcache with a birds name is almost as good!!!Good information boards made part 1 easy, and I sent MrT to do part 2! A really pretty area, and we did see some Satin Bowerbirds, so got some birdwatching in Thanks.A fav point
Answers submitted for this great little cache. We have been travelling to and staying in this area for over 25 years and spent a lot of that time on Swan Lake so we are very familiar with its changes over time and the opening and closing of the entrance. We have never stopped to consider the timelines or realised that acid sulfate soils were such an issue in the area though so we really enjoyed the chance to do so here! The Lake is pretty much as full as we have ever seen it, lots of areas where we took photos sitting on banks or sand a decade or so ago are under half a metre or more of water at the moment.
Lovely place to visit. Enjoyed a bbq while we were here. Thanks for bringing us to this spot.
Having a poke around this neck of the woods today so snuck in this one.
Nice part of the world.

Just a little while ago we Headed down the coast with my GeoChauffer for some time out, staying at Bawley Point again...
I am just now getting to log this cache as I lost my notebook with the answers to the cache I completed while down there, sorry guys...
The weather varied while there, some days were nice spring days others where terrible middle of the nastiest wintery days, like being in a blizzard , however the break was great.
There are some great cache down here including this one, they bring you to the coastline and show you what you have down here to play with.
Thanks for sharing this with us all...

Day 13 of our 2 week road trip south from Brisbane. After overcoming floods, a bogged car and vehicle electrical issues, we finally reached Canberra to spend a few days with relatives before continuing south for a loop around the Snowy Mountains. From there we headed towards Eden to commence the run north towards home following along the coastline.
After staying the night in Mollymook I headed out early this morning to visit a couple of local earth caches before moving on to a stroll around the One Track For All. Continuing our journey north I called in for a visit to this earth cache. I ended up reading a couple of other signs before eventually finding the right one. Then back in the car to head over to the second waypoint. Followed a couple of muggles walking along the beach to reach a point to make my observations. Another great beach along the coast. TFTC

Took a break from the beach for a few local caches. Parking conveniently I wandered over for a quick gather of the required information. Plenty of muggles about enjoying the great weekend weather. Answers submitted to the CO. TFTC
A very nice walk in the sun before the clouds arrive today ^_^
Loved logging my first ever EarthCache here because it's just around the corner from where I grew up - my parents live on Cudmirrah Avenue ^_^ Knew exactly where to go to find my answers even without the GPS

I enjoyed visiting this Earthcache on my trip along the coast this weekend! The two waypoints were a good idea, bringing me to the different sides of the inlet! I was also thankful for the relatively easy questions at WP1, nothing I hate more than Earthcaches with questions I cannot understand due to having very limited geological knowledge! But this was easy to read and easy to understand so I enjoyed the overall experience!

Sent answers to the CO. Hopefully we obtain a pass mark. Traditional caches, unless they take you to an interesting location are boring. Earthcaches make you read and think and learn. TFTC
Drove South early this morning to drop of the daughter at the St George basin scout Hall and started caching from there working my way further south. Getting warm quickly while walking to the lake entrance via the beach. There is a lot of sand to be moved before this opens again!

It is always good to have an excuse to come to Sussex Inlet and have laksa for lunch at the local club. Since today was International Earthcache Weekend and there was an unfound earthcache at Cudmirrah, the stars aligned perfectly. A nice earthcache, a nice lunch and a nice win on the pokies. Perfect!
We visited GZ, read the signs and watched some folk swimming in the lake. Then we drove to Cudmirrah beach and walked along to the entrance to make our observations. Answers have been sent to the CO.
Thanks Muppet95 for the cache.

Found and questions answered and sent to the CO while on holidays at Berrara. Such a nice part of the coast.
Had to be in Sussex Inlet for a work meeting this morning, and Juno rode shotgun.
Afterwards we made the time to come over to this part of the world that I'd never been to. We did a little exploring and logged this cache with the owner's permission.
Cheers

Really enjoyed my little visit to the lake. Such an interesting little inlet that appears mostly closed. The sand dunes are pretty big to. Very unexpected.

Heading north-east with PacGirl on a Easter roadtrip, we had no real target other than walking up Mt Kosciusko on the way to wherever we were going. I love these unplanned roadtrips where there isn't much of an agenda!
By this stage we had hiked around the top of Mt Kosciusko, made an impromptu visit to the Queanbeyan Mega, and ended up exploring this stunning part of the NSW coast. Sussex Inlet was our turnaround point, and after staying there last night we started heading back towards Melbourne following the coastline as closely as possible.
Started the morning with some hiking, and then explored this inlet a little more closely.
Beautiful sunny morning to be out and about.

Drove down this morning to escape the heat of the inland. A cool nor-easter was most welcome. Visited each site & took notes. Went for a walk on the beach near WP2 where a few hardy souls were just starting to pack up. I have seen the lake open, once only. Quite some distance to travel despite being within the city so did some Waymarking & found a couple of Geocaching Australia Locationless caches. Thanks Muppet95 for an interesting Earthcache, an attractive location & the cool breeze.
After talking to the owner at an event recently, I thought I must stop in on the way next down the coast. Top spot- we saw an echidna on the road on the way in and then two kangaroos just across the road from GZ. In the confusion trying to also find the traditional missed the information but realised before it was too late. Then it was off to WP2. Answers sent off. TFTEC!
I have done a cache here at Swan Lake on a privious visit. Today another visit and gathered the information for this Earth Cache.

Back in the area again and seeing a new cache decided to try it out after work. A bit wet with the rain but we managed to get the info and move around. Logged with permission. **FTF**. TFTEC
