That was a heck of a walk. Not sure about the parking waypoint unless you have a 4wd. Thanks for the very entertaining hide Smile

We are staying in York for a few days with ILT and ventured down to the hills area to grab some finds. Seems to be more like Russell Coight than Russell Crowe - pretty impressive garb too! Thanks John Smith

Tough mountain biking through this area. Weather wasn’t ideal either. Ditched the mtb when I got close and was startled to find Russell. Had to snap a quick selfie before signing the log. Thanks for the hide.

We are back camphosting at Mundaring Weir, so a good opportunity to explore some 4x4 tracks. We didn’t get this one last time so were determined today. Some heavy rain recently had made the track a bit gnarly so swapped Max the geoute for shanks’ pony. The walk in was good, past many grass trees then Russell was seen in the distance. I had not read the hint so investigated his attire before finding the cache. Walked back and made our way out, very happy to have this one finally. TFTC and a FP for the host and the adventure.

Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
Wow, is he for real? Can imagine he’d freak a few people out if they didn’t know he was here!
Strange memories of Rally Australia and doing the PA nearby way back yonder and boy those little rally cars have tutted out the tracks but managed to get Max the GeoUte fairly close after a few wrong turns.
Very happy to finally have met this one and can now add the yella smiley. Well worth a FP and thanks for the maintenance.
Thanks for the hide and Jon Smith.

A little creepy to come across Rusty! I was 'offline' while in this area: I was just following the navigation with no description, cache type etc. so this one made me laugh out loud when I found it! I appreciate the effort!!

While having a chat with some new friends and discovering they had heard about our little obsession; going as far as to even have download the app and join but no more, a plan was hatched for a little outing today to show them the ropes and introduce them to our, ahhhh, hobby.

This was the second on the list and wow, what a great cache! I could see something as we approached and thought no way, but yep it was the cache. Very cool.

TFTC Jon Smith, great adventure & cache!

FP awarded

NB Pic at GZ, please delete if you aren't happy to show it & no TB to be found?

We drove the Suzi up the deep rutted tracks to the marked parking place then walked the 100m in through light bush. Loved everything about this one. Thanking you for building, placing it & maintaining it. Well worth a favourite Jon Smith

Thanks Jon Smith for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.

Parked up around 200mt away after not wanting to risk a rutted out area here, soon found Him and returned to the car for the next. Have a Fav point

Headed East today to Celebrate 20 years of geocaching at JasenJanines event at Chidlow, we got up early with the plan of knocking off a few labs and some out of the way caches around the general area.

Great comedic value in this cache. Thanks for showing us Russell.

Out and about nice and early today ahead of the event out at Chidlow. Decided to knock over the nearby Deadly series by TeamBarritts. Eventually ended up at the event, which had quite the turn out. Enjoyed a snag before attacking half of the newly published cache series. After visiting the pub for a well deserved frothy we headed out to Bakers Hill for a bite, and to attempt the Refractory cache we DNF'd at two weeks ago, but muggles made that mission a non-success. On the way back to Perth we grabbed the second half of the new series before touching a few odds and sods. Pizza on the South Perth Foreshore for dinner before calling it a night.

Filling in a spot on my publish date finds grid. Only three more dates to fill after today. Cheers Jon Smith! Big Grin

Out and about early morning to make the most of the glorious weather we are currently having, with Mundaring the destination today we decided to have a crack at this cache. We made our way toward GZ, we could see Russell from a distance, once we had made our acquaintance with Russell we then continued on the task at hand, a quick search we had the cache in hand and are very happy to come away with a smiley, this cache was one of the highlights of our day so a favourite your way TFTC

Cool *FTF* with DangerMouse09 at 6.50pm Cool

Had just finished work & noticed that some new caches had been published. This one took my eye & after picking up the kids asked them if they we up for an adventure [?] Much to my surprise they we up for it, so we headed home to get the geo-pup & changed into the geo-vehicle!

Having been to the first instalment of this cache, we easily navigated our way here & made it on dusk... With around 30m to go DM09 spotted Russell patiently waiting, must say that the kids were a little spooked & taking a photo was a mission as they did not want to go near him lol Twisted

They did change their tune & then went hunting for the logbook which they found was blank. We happily added our names before saying our goodbyes & rushing back to the car before dark.

TFTC & the adventure Jon Smith [^] Well Done on the construction... We appreciate your efforts!
