Sadly the sculpture remains bend and distorted. I’ve relocated to a nearby tree until it becomes clear what’s happening longer term to the sculpture.

01-Oct-20
Sadly the sculpture has been bent in half. I’m disabling until it becomes clear what the council are going to do.

A random bit of art Smile ...muggles every where on a sat

Quick and easy find - opened it and it was empty! Turned around and logbook had blown out onto the ground. So we put it back inside. The bag is a bit ripped. Might need some more sticky tape!

07-Jun-20
Poor sculpture still got a bad lean but I’ve replaced anyway since it doesn’t look like the council will fix.

30-Apr-20
Council seems to have been preoccupied roping of all parks and haven’t made any attempt to right the fish man yet. Fingers crossed they will action his repair soon else I’ll need to find elsewhere to relocate.

26-Feb-20
Our suburb was in the firing line of the storm. Unfortunately the fishman was damage. Until repairs are carried out by the council, the cache is disabled.

24-Feb-20
No idea what the maintenance request said but container in place and paper fresh.

Find 6 of 18 with one DNF on a pleasant bike ride around Yokine, Mount Hawthorn, Coolbinia and surrounds.

Enjoyed reading the explanation of what the artwork is supposed to represent. I would have struggled to guess otherwise. The cache was a quick find.

23-Feb-19
Woke to the pings of caches being published, but when I checked my phone, they were my test notifications for Japan. Razz Went back to sleep before being woken up again an hour later to pings of caches in Perth. Quickly changed my attire, brushed my teeth and headed out the door.

Despite me visiting at possibly the worst time to try and find a cache here, a Saturday morning, I was able to find parking and stroll up to a rather (surprisingly) deserted GZ and make a quick find. Thanks KB! Big Grin

23-Feb-19
Interesting location. We found the cache without any problems. No need to bend for once. Woohoo.

A quick find
Thank goodness there were no spiders

11-Jan-19
Had some time between finishing work and other commitments so took a very indirect drive home to pick off a few random green dots on my map. This was one of my stop offs Smile Pulled the car up and then had to wait out a muggle playing with her dog near GZ. Didn’t take long but as soon as she headed off I nipped straight over before anyone else came along. Cache was a very fast find, so was in & out in just a few minutes Smile Big fan of Scuptures by the Sea, not so keen on this one though, lol. Great it’s out on display though as some people will love it Smile Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC

Out for my morning run grabbing the new caches in the area. Coords seemed a bit out but I think it may have been my GPS more than anything. The description made it easy but I still Had to feel around a couple of time before I found it. I don't know how many spiders are up there.

Finally catching up on some logging from caches I found with B12 some time ago.

25-Nov-18
A mini adventure today took us to the northern township of Guilderton with the goal of picking up Peaceful Purgatory on Diamond Island, a couple of kilometre kayak up stream. I put a call out on Facebook a couple of weeks ago and managed to get a very good turnout for the day with 9 kayaks on the water, and a couple who were let down by the local hire place!

Started off bright and early picking up a couple of caches along the way that I had previously missed and metup with the crew in guilderton before moving the launch spot to near the blackrat cache which had ampol parking.

A good kayak upstream where we found baggys bag and then made our way to peaceful purgatory, a very aptly named place. Could only get a couple of kayaks into the hiding spot so a few of us waited while others searched for the cache.

On the return journey we stopped to climb the dunes to grab the earth cache and a nearby traditional, thoroughly enjoyed seeing the solution pipes and mr ooh yeh provided some interesting info on them. Some great views of the river from there.

Continued along to grab two more caches that were a significant bush bash to get to before making our way back to the launch spot, and back home via some caches in Yanchep.

Thanks to everyone for a great day out and the COs for their caches.

25-Nov-18
Headed out early to grab some puzzle caches that the hubby had solved a while ago, a multi and a few traditionals whilst the hubby was caching in guilderton. Ended up with a couple of DNFS and a few caches that took quite a bit of searching to locate. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches
