Out this way for a drive on a sunny day, found on our way back home, Thanks for the hide, Miss_Direction, all is in good condition here
Watch out for spiders could also be a snake hole nearby so be careful. didn't see one just in case
Find number 2 of the day. Parking was a bit sketchy so it was a bitnof a hike back ti the GZ but found it easy enough once there.
Parking was a little sketchy as it was unusually busy for a country road. But we got there in the end.
Quick easy find .. tftc!
No pen and I didn’t have one with me so I have to improvise with photo proof ️

Miss_Direction I found your cache The Baker Wore Long Socks on 16/9/2022, 4:40 pm. This is my find 4213 and find # 20 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Alyce and I have hatched a plan to convert the caches in our area and slowly make our way north, so after dropping the kiddies at school we decided to stay in the area to knock out a few.
We missed the parking spot on the left side so we had to u turn and parked in front of the road sign, than wandered into the unknown to have a poke around and after a brief search the cache was in hand after dismissing this location at first.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Our baker had a horse and cart. The horse kept walking slowly while the baker ran back and forth making the deliveries. The bread was always fresh and still warm because the storage on the cart was insulated and he got regular top up deliveries along his round. We always pinched the face of the loaf where it broke in halves - much to mum's displeasure. TFTC.
Finding somewhere to pull over was the hard part. Other than that nice easy one.
Sybil is making me go to the country house for a holiday ‘for the good of my health’. I grew up in the gutters of The Shades. This city is in my blood.
On our drive through the area we stopped here for a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while driving in the area thanks for the cache
I have a very vague recollection of milk being delivered... but not bread... and that’s a very, very vague recollection...
After being amused by Woodyrothwell’s log, this was a quick find thanks to the obvious feature... tftc... really enjoying my drive around the country...

To find safe parking was a lot harder than finding the cache. It only took a few seconds to find the cache when I arrived at GZ. Signed the log book and replaced all as found. TFTC
Back before Christmas Mrs Woodyrothwell scored herself a new Samsung phone for birthday and Christmas. I’m not sure of the model number but it never worked well from the get go and had to be returned twice. After about 2 months she finally got it back working only to drop it and crack the camera which she desperately wanted.
I’m not one to partake in the Apple vs Samsung debate because that old horse has been flogged too many times. I think we can all agree that Samsung phones are sh*t and if you own one you are a loser [Citation Needed - not the sh*t or loser bit, just whether there is a more apt swear word required].
That meant it was left to me to take photos of us on my skanky iPhone. I would press the button and a photo would appear first go like magic. I will admit that I did not have the artistic prowess to line up a good snap. The sheer fact that my phone worked and did as it should only adds weight to the Apple and Samsung phone debate and the geese that need their voice heard on the internet. I think we can all agree that the words of the prophet Steve Jobs speak for us all when he said, “Samsung’s are shit”. tftc

As a child I remember the bread man delivering warm fresh bread. These days I go to the bakery myself. I try to get there around 1:50pm. That way I have time to get my cake and eat at two. Heehee TFTC

Making my way back down the coast with hatzofff and RoddyC & spending a few days in the local area to do some geoart puzzles and others in between.
All hides were found relatively easy and apart from a few wet logbooks that we changed where we could, caches were in good condition.
Apologies for the generic logs CO's, thanks for placing for everyones enjoyment.

After a fun morning, my geocaching buddies headed for home. I grabbed a bite to eat, then sat and looked at the options for the afternoon. After much procrastinating, I decided to head to these puzzles that I had solved some time ago. As I approached Wamuran, I wasn't sure how long the rain would hold off. I detoured to this cache. The drizzle was getting heavier. I managed to find the cache and sign the log before the skies opened up. Not sure if it is a passing shower, but I will call it a day for now. TFTC

Having spent the day in Toowoomba with PPrime and Crew153 and surpassing our goal of 100 caches for the day, Fangsoki and I decided to up the score and continue caching on our return home.
We headed here in the wet and soon made our find.
Oh for the days of the old bakery and milk deliveries.
Thanks for the cache Miss_Direction.

Gentle cache owner, please forgive my generic log
Pprime, Crew 153, 1MinnieMoo and I undertook to get a large amount of caches in one day. We did this in the the Toowoomba region - starting with Brother Colin's SSE series. After returning to Brisbane, 1MinnieMoo and I continued to find caches until late.
We enjoyed all the caches and appreciate the effort of creating and maintaining the various finds we made. TFTC

A lovely drive this morning around the country roads bought us to find this cache. All good here. TFTC
I've taken the week off as the the geomonsters are on school holidays. Fortunately Sandra had booked them into vacation care for the day, so it was either do some work in the peace and quiet or go out caching.
A slight detour from doing the Agatha Christie series. This was a nice quick find. Onwards...
Thanks!!

Quick find on a lovely quiet road! Thanks for bringing us out here. Beats urban caching any day!
Perfect day to head north and log a puzzle series and snap up a few more on the way...
I can never remember a time when bread was delivered but I lived in the outback almost until high school. Do recall milk being delivered in bottles in Canberra and every time the German made bottle cleaning machine broke down, the capital went into lockdown and it made the front page of The Canberra Times When the machinery finally went belly up it was with some reluctance that Canberrans switched to milk in plastic bottles. But it was still delivered to the door. By the time my children hit adolescence we were up to several 2L bottles a week, mostly as it comes and a couple of litres of the chocolate stuff Fruit and milk. That’s what my children got for having a gym rat as a single mum

Out with wombles to create a few more smileys on our maps. It didn't take long until wombles discovered the beasty. We left our scribble and replaced as found.
I don't remember the baker or the butcher or the candlestick maker. I do remember riding to the corner store for one cent lollies though. Those were the days!

Out and about with nyssaflutterby on a rare Thursday escape.
We wondered about the title of this one on the way. I don’t remember having a bread man but we did have a milk man and a dunny man. I don’t recall their socks, I think the dunny man wore thongs!!
The cache was quickly located in the obvious spot.

Growing up in South Africa we had milk delivered to our house in the early 70's. We had to put a token by our entrance gate and in return the milk would be left in glass bottles. Orange juice could also be ordered. The tokens were pulled off a little stick and were different colours depending if you were ordering orange juice or milk. Thank you for the memory Miss_Direction! Quick find here
I grew up in the country so we never got a delivery of the bread but we did get milk in little bottles delivered to the country school I went to. It was awful except when heated and milo added to it in the winter. We had our own milk on the dairy farm.
Found the cache and signed the log.
Returned to where we found it.

Today I am taking a bit of a drive to gather up a few caches that have appeared since I was last in the area. I had my youngest offspring for company [^]
More back roads driving [^] A few cars came through here, and I wonder what they thought of my very yellow car parked up just at that corner No problems making this find. And I do remember the Buttercup baker delivering bread every day back in the early 1970s The loaves came wrapped in wax paper. TFTC, Miss_Direction.

I travel down this road regularly but have never had the chance to stop until today. I found a safe place to park Gerty and wandered across the road to make a nice quick find. Log was quickly signed and picked up a deadly duck.

Had to pop out to Kilcoy for some maintenance decided to grab some quick collections on my way.
After leaving Dulcie's park empty handed being chased away by a frustrated landowner (wondering why so many people are visiting this private property lately) - we briefly explained geocaching but she was on edge apparently due to recent break-ins in the area, so we left peacefully to ease her mind. (I notice now that the cache has been archived)
Glad to find this particular gz deserted - parked across the road and stepped into the bush to find a well hidden from the road but very bright container.
We don't remember any baker's delivering or wearing long socks for that matter - must be too young!
Took army tank, left pink bracelet & 7 Deadly Ducks tag travel bug.
