Thanks Diadem for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, Tassie Zodiac Trail - #5 Leo, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #2007 at 09:24 on 15/9/2024. FTF: Found with: selfWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Ive been working on finding caches in different LGAs for a challenge and I only need a couple more. This one didnt seem too far from where I was staying so I decided to drive out and get it. Little did I know I had to follow a bitumen goat track!! Im sure the locals dont think that, but I believe if a road isnt wide enough for a white line in the middle, its no longer a road Once at GZ it was a quick find.TFTC DiademKeep smiling
One of sixteen finds today while caching with Zozetta. We began the day at Glenlusk, doing the Tassie Zodiac Trail in reverse order, and finding one other cache on the way. After that we did a bit of the Montrose trail, where we found three, and then finding two others on the way home for a total sixteen finds and no DNFs.
We enjoyed this series and the scenery along the roads that it went along, although there was a lot more traffic than I expected! All the caches were in good condition. A quick find, though the log was very wet and couldn’t be written on, we added a new log with another plastic bag to protect it.
Thanks for the cache Diadem & TaurusSix!

TFTC! I love discovering interesting spots like this recycling centre… Log was wet and bag ripped. We added a new bag and index card but it needs some maintenance.
**Total find count: 1276**
A week away from the stresses of reality. a new state for the geocaching stats.
Cache was found with Crzymelly & TeamPQS.
A day out with the family, exploring some new roads for us.
An interesting location for a hide, however parking can be a little challenging for some of the finds in this series.

Log soggy and very wet unable to sign and didn't have anything to replace it so unable to sign but thanks for the hunt and hide TFTC
Found but not signed as the log is unfortunately soaked through, thanks for the cache!
After a few dnf’s in the Tassie Zodiac Trail series we thought we would do a maintenance check on all twelve caches.
Leo appeared to be missing so we replaced with new cache container. All good to go again.

This series of hides were decided on after turning a blue face upside down at Tynwald Park and grabbing an Iced Coffee to appease my taste-buds
I have never been on this road in all my End-Of-Year visits to Tassie since 1990 so today i thought, not only will i grab this string of hides but also see another part of Tassie with great views. This small village is lovely and the freshness in the chilly air was like velvet to my lungs [^]
Parked safely and made the find and sign at 12:09 on Thursday 24/6/21.
The cache and contents are good and dry.

Today we decided to head to New Norfolk and surrounds and find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A great day out, not too cold, sun out allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors.
This was great trail, we started at number 12 as we were staying down south. Great co-ords led to easy finds and allowed us to park nearby. We enjoyed the scenery and going on a road not travelled before.
Cache and contents were in excellent condition.
Thanks Diadem & TaurusSix for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

This was a lovely place to stop with very picturesque views of village life all around. The cache was at the co-ordinates and was spotted easily .. and really fun hide.
Winding our way home from Mount Field the back way. Been up and down here many times whilst working for the council. Anyway all good today.

This trail looked like a set of easy drive bys and so I started at one and made my way along. It was very dodgy in spots and getting parks next to the caches was almost scary especially if you had little kids. Found all but 2 though and will return when they are fixed up
Today I headed to Hobart to attended the celebration event in the evening and decided to make a day of it and find some caches along the way, around new Norfolk, the CBD and lenah valley . A great day out with around 60 finds.
Thanks for the cache

We have been doing a lot of walks lately and felt we need a day off but still wanted to cache so this drive by power trail ticked the box for us. We found all the caches quite easily although we did find that it was best to drive both ways along the road as the parking was sometimes best in the opposite side.
There was a sign at the New Nolfolk end of the road saying that the road wasn’t suitable for motorhomes or caravans but no such sign at the opposite end.

Spending the Xmas break at Mt Field National Park, took a drive into hobart today, and decided to take this old back road and find a few last caches for 2019. Not sure if it’s quicker, but it’s definitely a more scenic route.
Cache was a quick find.
Thanks for placing the cache

Having turned back for Leo and a quick find we turned around and continue the trail.
We decided to do this trail this afternoon. The plan was a circular route back home via New Norfolk Road but we ended up missing several due to difficult parking and volume of traffic. We changed plans and returned along the trail finding the ones we missed earlier. TFTC

Hi Diadem, This is a lovely trail even if the day was a touch cold and the weather drizzly in patches. Found most of them with ease but as I was in my work clothes decided against doing #8 Scorpio as it required a bit of a climb up. All GZ's were dry, containers still look new and most had swaps for the littlies. Thoroughly enjoyed it took me a good hour and a half but had a little detour up to Collins Cap for a squizz in the process and did #12 last week. Thanks again Diadem for the enjoyment.
Leo (Don't Have any extra special Leo people in my life)
When I got to this cache their was a few people in the park nice to see the locals have somewhere to go.
Cache was an easy find once I was looking from the right side. Thank you.
Thanks Diadem & TaurusSix for placing this group of cache's and keeping it on the geo- game board.
What a great road and nice to find larger caches, I was looking at this group and noticed that they were all large so I had them marked to do late afternoon when eyes are tied at looking for small ones so started this trail at 4pm and soon ended in the dark. I have never driven this road before so thanks to Geocaching I seen some great things, I enjoyed the rock faces on parts of the road and the little creeks.
Picked this one up on a weekend away to Hobart all by myself so was able to find 44 caches including some lengthy multi caches. Also got to see my favourite comedian, some family and friends and a spot of shopping. Just what this girl needed!

On our tour trough Tassie we come to this area. When we see, there is a series, we were lucky and would catch them. After a short search we can find the cache.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi
