Logs
Drove from Mangawhai to Whangrei today, stopping to pick up just two caches along this walkway. Didnt find this one at the fenceline but thats where we left it after signing the logsheet. #8030. TFTC.
Staying close by so stopped to grab this cache. Cache becoming quite visible with camo wearing of. Tried to cover it a bit. Tftc
Find #706Found while walking Te Araroa - new Zealands long pathway from Cape Reinga to Bluff. Thank you to all the cache owners who place and maintain these caches, and thank you to all the people who help me and others on the way. Love the camo, took me a minute. Cache is in excellent condition here though part of the camo has worn off. Signed log as LBB to save space
Another great addition to the series and something different than the previous three to keep us on our toes.Hides like this aren't usually our favourite to find but this one is an exception because of the nice camo. So effective that we almost overlooked it.Only two more to find.TFTC.
Unfortunately, we didn't manage to find it. We don't know what mean "eclipse" and "GL"
On our way to Auckland TEMBO! and I made a stop at the "Waipu Cycle and Walkway #4 - flagstaff". We found the cache after a quick search and logged.
Thanks to Nicholson_family for hiding and maintaining the cache.

Out for a bit of an adventure with the family. This one took a few minutes to spot, but trusted the GPS and eventually got there. TFTC.

This cache was easily located and we can see perhaps why the gardener keeps removing it. Tried to hide a little better. TFTC

Stopping to do a couple along this trail, unfortunately we won't have time to do them all but collected the numbers for the bonus in case I'm back in the future. Clever camo, thanks Nicholson_family

A bit naughty but we're just stopping for the park and grabs along this walkway on our way past - sorry. Very effective camo here. TFTC # 18,346
No luck last visit , so had a good look today and cammo spotted after careful check. Tftc
Not easy - looked and looked. Got the better of us this one or wonder if the new wood under the fence has disturbed this geocache??
Lots of work done here to beautify the area. Cache replaced. Natural camo - read updated hint.
Cache area has had new mulch added and a spruce up. Cache gone walkabout again. Will replace in next few days.
This area has had very recent landscaping done, in fact we chatted to one of the landscapers for a while. Area has been replanted and heavily mulched. Suggest more owner maintenance, sorry!
Maintenance has been done on the garden and cache was removed. New cache has been placed. Eclipse - Natural camo.
Had a try today. No luck and looks like some work has been done at the site. Will keep an eye on reports.
20 June 2021 14:25. The last of this series for me, as I need to get the hire car back to AKL. TFTC.
We set out early to find a few caches before returning home after a weekend in Whangarei. We had to pretend to be on our phones, as just as we were about to look for the cache a vehicle was exiting the nearby driveway. Once the car had gone, we zoomed in for a quick find. TFTC
Today I decided to venture out of Whangarei for the day to reach caches that might have caused problems if I had my snail shell in tow.
I decided to go for a wee walk along here. About 10m out.
Cheers for the cache.

We were in the campervan today but we figured we'd have a go at getting some of these cycle trail caches as we explore Waipu.
Plenty of room to park here and a very straight forward find.
Thanks for setting this up for us to find

We decided to drive to the rest of these, but this procedure hairy in a 7.5m motor home. This one wasn't too bad as long s we were quick. Thanks for the cache.

#1020. Day 27 of walking the Te Araroa trail and the 20th cache I found along the way.
It was surprisingly hard to work out what side of the road to be on but once I worked it out it was an easy find.
Signed a blank logbook! But no FTF here today - just a replacement log.
Thanks for the cache!

Thanks P n E for letting me know about cache. Looks like the cache went through the mulcher when the gardens got a makeover - will need a replacement ASAP. Anyone doing the series can still obtain the bonus cache as only 5 of the 6 is needed (use checksum).
muched into a million pieces with the tree it was on - will replace. **See note below**
Took a while to spot this one, couldn't really decide which tree, but Mrs Sp8 eagle eyed it out in the end.
