Walked all the way out here only to get a Did not find. How am I getting so unlucky with this geocaching ? Searched high and low, but no luck this time.
Nope, cant find a thing, but have left a happy trinket in place of where it should/could have been
I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to two months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES!
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Anything interesting from my day will be added here - don't hold your breath.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
The area around GZ today had quite a bit of standing water. The other problem was someone had destroyed the gate at GZ, scattering pieces ev erywhere. While I checked what I could I didn't tun up the cache - and I wasn't willing to trawl through the water.
Needs a check.

Found after dark while staying at the conference centre. A quick find was made with the assistance of the hint. Thanks Team MavEtJu.
I had been meaning to get to this series of three caches for sometime but with the added bonus of an Adventure Lab to the south I tackled this one as a through walk with the eldest geokid today, with a pick up at the other end.
This was the last one and on a warm day and 9km under our belts we were glad to be picked up back at the entrance gate. TFTC!

We walked around the edge of the Conference Centre and onto the path under the power lines. A quick find, then we continued South after climbing over a gate to the next ones in this series. TFTC
Out for a walk to clean out the last few caches in my thirty km radius. Saw a lot of birds.

Definitely can't avoid private property here, but I would recommend walking through the conference centre instead of parking waypoint otherwise will be in someone's yard.
Parked outside the conference centre and walked through the northern part to get this one. Might attempt the other two from the track near boomerang golf course. Thanks for the nice walk. TFTC

Headed for an afternoons caching in Helensburgh with some SES friends after seeing an influx of new caches appear over the past few months.
On what turned out to be a warm afternoon we grabbed all the quick ones around town before setting out sights on the multi and a few walks in the Stanwell Tops area.
Thanks for the cache.

Set out today to knock off these 3 caches in stanny tops, found this first one after a couple of minutes looking, signed the log tftc
Mrs A and I got out early this morning to avoid the heat. It was overcast as well which helped but humidity was high.
Well now...….how do we get to the starting point, so many private property signs. As we parked a couple emerged from the conference centre track walking their dog. I asked if they could direct us to the walk to the dams. We eventually found our way in and made it to the first GZ.
Signed the log and headed off to #2.

We struggled to find a way from Stanwell Tops that didn't involve walking past private property signs but we've explored a lot of this area before and accessed it from near to the golf club at Maddens Plains without a problem. It was a nice morning walk with Pipes Down Under, Brewmaker, and Delloro before it got too hot. TFTC

After grabbing the new multi, this gang of 4 headed to this new trail nearby. At the parking WP, we were concerned about encroaching on private property with so many signs about. We eventually found a way in a few blocks away, but still felt we were trespassing. Finally a fence was hopped and the path to GZ was found.
A quick find once there, then more fence climbing (this time with barbed wire) and onto #2. It seems everywhere we went there was NO TRESPASSING signs! A good morning walk with The Hancock Clan, Pipes_down_under & delloro before the heat got too much. TFTC

No question that this one is on private property. A nice walk though with some great mates.

Out with a geomates on an reasonably early morning before the heat of the day.
As mentioned, there are so many signs for Private property and no Trespassing so finding legitimate ways in was a challenge,
We forged on and found our way in for an easy find.
Sad to think this will be the last geotrek with The Hancock Clan for a while.

Almost a drive by here, had to leave the other two for another time due to lack of time. Also had been to the nearby convention center a few times already for different reasons.
