Find 18 of 35 with five DNFs on an extended, warm bike ride in virgin territory for us, taking in Orelia, Parmelia, Kwinana, Calista and Medina. A good mixture of hides and really pleasant surrounds.

Still waiting for my wife to finish her appointment, and a visit to the nearby big green building at the shopping complex complete, I came here to see if I could clear a previous DNF.

Lots of people out on this magnificent day but all focussed in the other direction. So arrival saw me scratch here and then there and sure enough a cache appeared. Not sure how I missed that last time!

On the MTB and cruising Kwinana for some urban caching. I would prefer to be in the hills but was surprised how good the bush and parks were in K-Town.

After sheltering near the Adventure Park, the rain stopped and off I went.

A big random dog appeared out of nowhere and followed me for a while. Then the owner on her BMX yelled at it to go home while she was going shops. It didn’t. It followed me to the lights.

While I was completing a compulsory work seminar in Vic Park, geo-hubby met up with iluvtrekking for a day caching south of the river. This was one of the many finds they made. Thanks Ooh Yeh

Have the grandsons again this weekend so to get them outdoors I decided to find the caches around the area that I’ve yet to find. Nice quick find here but we took up the last 2 spots left on the log.

School is also out so all the adults are waiting to pick up kids. I was worried the cache was going to be near the park bench which was crowded with mothers but it was exactly as described in the hint week away from that location.

Stopped here at this park and while getting the info for the Wherigo grabbed this one. This is a great park.

Today I am out with Kapelula trying to clean up a few more cache finds in Kwinana. This one took us a few minutes but we got there in the end. We must have looked a bit strange to the council workers that are trying to clean up he park. Tftc

Happy to have a nice easy find here and geokids managed a quick play on the nearby playground. Miss 5 took on signing duties and Miss 3 replaced the cache. Tftc!

Thanks OOH YEH for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 13:14:00. This was my Find 12 for today out of a Total number of 16 Finds and 1 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.

This find brings my total number of Finds to 4622.

A massive day out with Mistraluna clearing up her map of the area and adding a few more smilies to mine.. well, more than a few. Not sure of the exact number but it was in the 40’s. Huge for me as I usually go out solo for a few at a time.. Must say, it was refreshing to have some company.
An amazing day was had made up of an inquisitive neighbour, a close call whilst climbing a fence and a dose of panic which turned to frustration when the geocaching app decided to boot us out and not allow us to log in for a while..
With a great assortment of caches encountered and some laughs along the way, I was left feeling very satisfied and appreciative of the hard work that goes into creating and maintaining these caches for us all to enjoy.
So, Thankyou to the CO’s and also to Mistraluna for organising the day, her helpful hints and advice and confident parking skills

Today I teamed up with new geofriend hunterzed with the plan to clear my map of the Kwinana/Wellard/Baldivis area of all the non-yellow icons that had sprouted over the past few months. The original plan had been to go out last weekend, but a work call-out thwarted that idea. So we rescheduled for today.

And what a day we had too! Of course, most of the caches were traditionals, but there were a smattering of other cache types thrown in the mix too, resulting in a most enjoyable day's caching. And there was a variety of creative hides as well, unlike some days when all you seem to find are assorted micros (mint tins, nanos, preforms, bisons) and the odd sistema. Today's company was pretty special too, with us both enjoying lots of chatting and laughs along the way. Thanks Zoe - hopefully we can do it again sometime.

This little series was attempted early in the day, but there were already loads of muggles enjoying the amenities provided in this park. When I was younger, this area was predominantly state housing and single mothers, and definitely not the attractive suburb it has now become. No problems finding this last one either. Hope you all enjoyed the event that this one was published for. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to come and find OOH YEH.

Easy find for the kids first go

Cache was missing so it’s been replaced. Cache is now a preform tube

Chwiliwr and I were down in Wellard at our son's house doing some work and then picked up Gwawr. We then went on a small caching hunt before Chwiliwr headed south for the event and I took Gwawr home.

Enjoyed the walk. Cache found without problems. Log signed and cache returned as found.

Joint {*FTF*} with a large group of cachers out for a walk whilst attending the very nearby event. TFTC OOH YEH and of course for the great event too.

We saw that a number of cachers were chasing their first to finds on these unpublished, at the time, caches so wandered over to the last of them just as they arrived to 'purloin' the cache before them so that it could only be officially found after publication unlike the others. Joint *FTF* of the now published cache with the group that were there. Log signed and cache eventually returned as found.
