Thanks for all the visits and comments, all appreciated but it’s time to reduce the numbers of my caches here in NZ and this one makes space for a new cache
Thanks again

A lot of rubbish on thus corner didn't quite make it to the refuse station 200m up the road.
Quick find after a short detour to grab this one.
Travelled up from Dunedin for my first Mega event and wanting to sign off some geotour caches as well in Auckland and Northland.
Thanks for the cache, brownie52

Holidaying in the Far North. Quick find following an afternoon wandering around the Kerikeri shops. TFTC
Cache 3 of 40
Nice easy park and grab on our way north.
To celebrate my 40th Birthday (which was during lockdown) with Yvettetb we are trying to find 40 caches on our 40 hour adventure. We started this morning at 8am in Russell and heading North to Coopers Beach via roadside caches & Mangonui. We love sudoku (the 1st one was easy, 2nd one was challenging) and learnt about KenKen to solve another puzzle. Ending today's adventure with the night in Paihia

Cache 3 of 40 - cute little cache, it was full of water so we put it back upside down. TFGC

Fourth day of our vacation in Northland and today was the loveliest day we got for geocaching - lots of sunshine and really quite warm for the time of year. We didn't have a full day as I had some work to do in the afternoon but we thought we might have enough time to do a bit of a loop and see Matauri Bay and one or two other spots.
This was our first cache of the day and we took the wee side road here and parked up short of the recycling facility. Amazing to be so close to a dump but seemingly not close enough to stop people throwing rubbish out their window. Started in the wrong place but realised that might be a bit too obvious so adjusted a bit and then found the cache - no problems here. Thanks for the cache - all good here.

On our caching journey up to the north with EyeSpyBen to sort out a few more caches and a couple of series, many miles driven over many days and many caches found, not to many dnfs
but lovely weather, Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements

Out for the weekend with Team SEAC for a weekend of fun. Thanks for placing this cache, sorry for the generic message.
With the mega being postponed a plan was hatched for some of the Team SEAC crew to head north for some fun. Today being Mr Stik-a-cranes birthday it was extra special.
Not sure this would be my favourite place for a cache due to all the rubbish but didn't take too long to find.
Thanks for the cache.

Out with Team SEAC on a long weekend raid of the upper north island. This was on our way north so a stop was a must. A short search here. TFTC
Team SEAC has planned a raid of the very far North for Labour Weekend. We drove up to our forward base in Cable Bay caching all the way. All our logs were signed SEAC to save log paper
A quick stop!

In the area today with other cachers from Auckland, logging in as Team 'SEAC' to save log book space.
This is a trip up north as a replacement to our annual caching trip/mega postponed due to Covid 19 this year.
Thanks for bring us here.

A quick find. Sadly lots of rubbish dumped here when the refuse is just up the road TFTC
Away in the camper for a couple of weeks roaming around Northland doing TMGT's and anything else. Mr S found this one. Someone has shot the sign leaving a huge hole with jagged edges. Imagine if that was your stomach, or worse. Doesn't bear thinking about.
Thanks brownies52.

On a bit of a road trip this weekend to try and make some good progress on the new Mystery at the Museum souvenir challenge. I have very few unfound caches anywhere near home base, so these challenges are a good excuse to head off on a mission and potentially visit some new places.
Been past this side road heaps of times, but never actually been up here, probably because I haven't been carrying any recycling this far from home.
Once near GZ, the cache was soon found in the hint location. Pleased to also find some "fingerprints" on the cache for the challenge. TFTC

I've had a very exciting weekend. My first Grandson was born yesterday. We had a lovely day in Warkworth with them yesterday. The kids are back to school today and my hubby at work. I'm still excited and at a loose end. I'd kept my timetable free as we didn't know when the baby would arrive. It's one of my many dot days too. I've decided to try and reduce those numbers when I can.
I packed my little Prius C full with recycling and headed off. Geocaching.com said c:geo was broken down and they were working on it. I looked at the map before leaving and rightly thought it would be an easy find. I'm not sure the recycling made up for the carbon footprint I made to get this cache today. I figured it would have been even worse if I hadn't done my recycling.
I dropped some travel bugs off around the place too. I'm a bit busy to be out caching at the moment so I thought someone else can move them along.
Thanks for your cache

Travelling from Kerikeri to Cape Reinga today. Looking for smileys and places to swim as it’s so hot. Love clearing rubbish and recycling as our cache name may suggest. TFTC
Nice quick find, just happened to bump into a rather large spider while grabbing the log, I tried hard not to scream and then on how I was going to get it back without it moving on me, managed to do it and get a photo
