handshow I found your cache FIGJAM on 6/6/2023, 3:20 pm. This is my find 5541 and find # 7 today. No problems locating this cache. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

05-Jun-23
Found on the second lap. Phone was giving surprisingly good coords given the tree cover. Also somewhat amazing that this cache hasn't been mugged out of existence given the closeness to so many eyes. Lovely spot to live i suspect. Tftc

18-May-23
Tftc! A top park.

01-May-23
Found after dark. Hard to be sneaky here with the leaves crunching underfoot and all the units facing you. Still got a smile. TFTC

05-Feb-23
An early morning drive to take geohubby to work and an 8am appointment at Bulimba found me caching in the area to pass the time (apparently, people don't want to organise appointments for 6am haha).

After a nearby DNF I had to avenge my hope for the day. A quick stop here in a lovely park. Was able to park nearby, and soon after had the cache in hand, log signed and back in the car.

TFTC.

I don't often come over to this part of town, but happened to be here last Saturday visiting the sailing club just back along by the river. (Where else would you build a sailing club but by the river?) Today I had the gps in hand and wandered into this oasis with some great tall, gnarled old trees. Quickly found the hiding spot without realising, and made a couple more circuits before looking again more carefully and found the cache. Signed the log and replaced as is the custom. TFTC, handshow.

18-Sep-22
We rolled up to the GZ as a couple of muggles passed by with their dogs. Down to the search without being too inconspicuos as there were people on their balconies nearby. We circled the GZ a couple of times and then soon spotted it the cache after a thorough search. TFTC

18-Sep-22
I've been here once before on an early morning caching run while working my way across town, but arrived to find two dog walking muggles chatting and going nowhere, while standing about 5m from GZ. So, no hunt for me on that day. Twisted

Today, in the cpompany of NurseyJulie, the coast was clear and we both headed in for what turned out to be a hunt that took longer than it should. Maybe the theme for our day today. Surprised We covered the hiding spots twice before I spotted the container and extracted the log for business. [^]

Cheers handshow.

Very leafy - and damp

17-Jul-22
Mrs Woodyrothwell asked me if I was wanted to come into the Valley for lunch. I was on board with it until I found out the lunch was with 5 of her girlfriends from school. When I found out I was the token male, I said hells no and decided to be her chauffeur and go caching instead.

I knew they would be spending the afternoon drinking bubbly juice so I had lots of time to cross the bridge and head to Bulimba. The only problem was that half of Brisbane had the same idea. The parks and shops were bristling with people and parking was at a premium.

Thankfully no one was in this park apart from a few keen basketballers and no one was on their balcony enjoying the sunshine. After scratching around a bit with a stick the hide was uncovered. tftc

This one had alluded me before but not today, no one on their balcony trying to work out what I was up to.

A lovely afternoon out with Davidwazza! TFTC!

09-Jan-22
This morning, it was a run out to the airport to drop family off, and so I took the occasion on my return back home to make a stop in Wavell Heights at Shaw Park. A quick walk was had along the creek and Keith Boden Wetlands whilst avoiding a few newly formed puddles.
In the afternoon, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I took a drive to Bulimba where we had lunch and a walk around a few of the streets and paths adjacent to the river.

Whilst relocating our car from Bulimba's main street of shops to pushing the pram along Portside Place Park, we made a stop just next to this park, where I jumped out, and made a quick cache find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I was a little concerned with all the houses/apartments bordering this park, but no muggles about today (even though I could hear someone watching the cricket nearby). Thanks handshow for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Luckily no one on the balconies so a quick find. Thanks for showing me this lovely park. Tftc

10-Sep-21
Found quickly by Peppa. They had been here previously and had to be aware of the peeps sitting on the balconies. So luckily no one was enjoying the sun today.
Out with PirateLinda and Peppa and 2MT

10-Sep-21
Noice easy find.. had to scare away a muggle with a dog, but with a stealthy approach Peppa found it closely followed by giraffe.. all the while pirate Linda was rummaging the car for lollies!

10-Sep-21
2nd time looking for this one with Peppa - too many balcony muggles on other occasions. Had Peppa and Giraffe 18 along for the day as well today

10-Sep-21
I think this is my third visit here… and the first time the nearby balcony has been empty of muggles… which meant a nice quick find… tftc…

after work i decided to pick up this cache to continue my streak of finding one cache a day. This is my 86th cache in a row and when i got to gz i realized that i have been here before and could not even look for the cache as muggles were not far away. Today the coast was clear and it was in the third place i looked figjam. Thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

Out and about today caching the southside, and this afternoon joined by oz_bean_counter. After completing a neat Lab series we came here for a quick find in the obvious spot. This turned out to be my final find today, a lovely day out.
Thanks handshow for entertaining me at this location.

Thanks handshow for the cache.

Cache is located way too close to an apartment block which makes a search impossible

22-Nov-20
With geoD away geoP decided to go for a drive to check out her old childhood suburb from 70s & 80s. I remember playing in this park getting splinters in my bottom on the seesaw and burning it sliding down the metal slide.
Unfortunately today all I had was memories and no cache to be found. Unless it’s now buried under all the grass clippings that seem to have accumulated.

23/8/20 Find #4038
Having been over this side of town today with Fangsoki to complete the new adventure labs (by this CO), but also needing to be back in time for a Sunday family lunch, I needed a traditional cache for my calendar. A quick look at the map and I decided this cache would be a viable option, and hoped it would be a quiet park. Arriving at the location, I could indeed confirm it was a quiet park, despite all the units right next door overlooking it, and only had to wait briefly for one group of walkers to head past. Then Fangsoki and I headed over to GZ to make a quick find - note it definitely was NOT the dog poo bag in the middle of the tree which we chose to completely avoid.
Thanks for the cache handshow.

23-Aug-20
1MinnieMoo and I were in the area grabbing some caches and we decided to grab this one.

Thankfully, 1MinnieMoo is a bit braver than me. I really lose the plot when the possibility of muggles seeing me is high. We soon found the cache safe and sound. We signed the log and silently glided out of the area. Thankfully, all was quiet today.

A nice little park. TFTC handshow Smile

Grey Nomads, hold up in Wellington Point while Mrs D recoups from bi lateral knee operation. We have not cached much since Covid hit, but today, Mrs D cried boredom, so out we went to find a few caches, she navigates, he is runner, she does the logging. Bulimba area is the target

Today's count is 5 finds, 1 adventure lab and 2 DNFs

It is Oh So windy up here on the river today, not very pleasant.

Quick find in beautifully shaded park. What a gem. Thanks for the hide handshow

Out with DisSister today for a morning's caching. Couldn't find it where the GPS had us so we expanded the search area taking the next obvious spot and came up trumps. TFTC

06-Aug-20
After coming up empty-handed at our GZ we decided to just try our luck with the next one over and that turned out to be a good decision because it was found immediately. TFTC handshow

I was in the area today avenging an old mystery dnf, and this cache title just jumped out at me, so i thought i'd roll on over on the electric tredley to have a squiz.
Thankfully the find was super quick as there were verandah muggles about and i felt uncomfortable so close to homes, so with the log signed and rehid i skedaddled outta there.
Hopefully the little black plastic bag in the tree fork isn't what i think it was.
Thanks handshow for the cache!

I was just about to give up in this one and decided on one more pass of a spot I’d tried already.

On holidays at the moment, Mrs SP and I have snuck out for a day's caching.

It's bin day, so parking is at a premium when trying to avoid the wheelie bins and leaving enough room for the garbos. It was very handy that there was a park just across from the cache. We had to be quite sneaky when grabbing this one, as lots of people were around (don't they have homes to go to? Smile), but we managed to avoid the muggles and sign the log. TFTC handshow Big Grin

Tuesday. I was out today with Mrs RIO. Thankfully this was a quick find for us. Loved the little container for this cache. Replaced it back into it’s hidey spot. Loved this park. It’s a gorgeous spot!

This was the 5th of 12 caches found on today's trip.

Thanks ***handshow***, for showing us this place. Smile

I happen to love fig trees. My love of figs started when a fig named ficus ran for public office in America and ofcourse was more popular than their other candidates. My brothers also had a knack for finding the centre of a rainforest fig, climbing in and poking their arms out so the tree looked like the living trees from lord of the rings. Whatever the occasion, figs rock! I may have left my sunglasses here- it was the day for dropping things. Tftc Handshow

"Enjoy this peaceful park?" Barking dogs quickly will put a stop to that. Aussie Pete has previously logged the cache. A quick signing ceremony conducted before beating a hasty retreat to the serene quiet of the petrol guzzler.

After our lunch in Oxford St and then a detour past another cache we arrived at this one. I had decided to ignore the GPS and park on the other street and then found that I would have been 15m from the cache instead of the 200m walk which I had in front of me.

I started searching in the wrong tree but then the GPS agreed that I was in the wrong place and I moved over for a quick find.
