Great cache. Favoritepoint in.found together with verybadcop, who sent the answers.thank you for the cache, says fimxray
So easy to locate but yet worth a favourite point for its uniqueness. The weather protective cover is disintegrating and a bit of an eyesore however.

After shifting my snail shell from Tokerau Beach to Kerikerinyesterday in the rain I decided to take the rest of the day off. Today I was doing a road trip in my cachemobile going north to Kaeo and then on towards Whangaroa. Just before Whangaroa I turned off onto Wainui Rd to visit Tauranga Bay, Te Ngaere Bay and Matauri Bay before heading back home to my shell.Ooooppps! No cell reception so can't Google for the code. Drove down the road to the beach and asked a local for the post code. Even he had to go inside his house to get it right. Luckily the code he gave me was correct. Got to give a fave for the individual logsheets.Cheers for the cache, brownie52.
We are on our long-awaited journey around the world in 99 days. Second try after canceling in 2020.
Our third stop after Los Angeles and Hawaii is New Zealand.
This time was of course used to find some geocaches here.
Today we were searching for the Letterbox Hybrid **Letterbox BEHIND the sign**
Thank to the Hints and the good coordinates the nice big box was found quickly!
After signing the „logbook“ there is a new smile on our geocaching map!
At least we would like to take this opportunity to thank brownie52 for creating and maintaining this beautiful Letterbox Hybrid.
Greetings from Nuermberg/Germany

P.S. To save space in the logbooks, we not only enter in sequence, but also in empty spaces between.

Alas , for the peace of geocaching and the 1 point for 1 Cacher there is a new lock on the cache
All in order
Happy caching

I have relogged this find after finding it on 23.10.23 . The lock was corroded and unable to move to put combination in.
Super duper cache, Love the log "book/pages" ! - TB & a funny troll + a signature coin.
Got muggled by a resident? or visitor? pulling into the driveway, so gave them a friendly wave. ️ TFTC! A fave for sure

Out for a drive with a good friend who shows much patience with my geocaching tendencies. Wonderful day marked with this successful find. TFTC
THIS IS AMAZING!! Our first left box cache so we really didn’t know what to expect. It’s fantastic, so well kept and will keep us smiling all day. Thank you!
Fourth day of our vacation in Northland and today was the loveliest day we got for geocaching - lots of sunshine and really quite warm for the time of year. We didn't have a full day as I had some work to do in the afternoon but we thought we might have enough time to do a bit of a loop and see Matauri Bay and one or two other spots.
This was the cache we were keenest to come and find for the day as we are rather partial to a good letterbox cache. At GZ it was rather obvious where the cache was and we were quickly faced with the "field puzzle". "Uncle Google" indeed coughed up the answer rather easily once it occured to me to put the region in the search query and we were in in no time.
We were delighted with the contents - what a lovely idea for a cache in a location like this and Mrs Tuolei thought it simply brilliant. She was very happy to do the logging requirements - sadly we forgot to bring our letterbox stamp (it's Albert the Greyhound lying in leaves) so we weren't able to stamp the letterbox book We were also out of swag but I managed to find a couple of little bags of Civil War soldiers in the glovebox to drop. A cache this grand deserves swag!
No TBs seen in cache BTW.
Replaced everything as found. Obvious, very deserving favourite point here - I think the best cache we found on this trip. Thanks for the cache - great job!

We are on our summer holiday, we usually take a few weeks and travel around the South Island, but this year we are heading around the North Island. Heading up the West coast and back down the East coast. Finding only a select few caches along the way, we are mostly targeting some challenges we have qualified for, some large size caches, some that fill gaps in our date placed grid, a few D/T combinations, some with lots of favourite points, letterboxes and anything else that grabs our fancy.
I had a fall earlier in the week so I was now pretty much out of action with a very sore and swelling ankle, so I am only going to help find the nearby caches and gk is going to find any of the caches that require more of a walk. After spending time at the Te Kuiti medical / hospital centre my sprain has turned into a fracture and I am in a moon boot and told to keep weight off my leg. But I wanted to see this one so I hobbled over to have a look. What a great idea. I took some trackables and left some trackables.
Thanks for this great letterbox cache and thank you for the smiley

Walked along the road from the beach to get this one. Luckily it is not a busy road. Read the instructions and had the cache. What a unique cache. TFTC
Took a while to get the code but got it in the end. Different way to sign a log, I like it. Swapped tb's.
Very nice cache with beautiful contents and logging items.

Yebo brownie52. What a brilliant cache. Had the code in my notes so quick to open. Left my mark on one of the "pages". Left some tbs as well. TFTC.
Ive been wanting this cache for ages. I needed letterbox caches with different sizes for one of my GIO licence series on Rangitoto Island. I'd collected a regular and small on two separate trips to Auckland so a large was what I needed. I figured I'd grab this cache when a souvenir was up for grabs. Today is day 2 off the required week long geocachng streak for this souvenir challenge. I loved the views along the road out this way and your cache was fantastic. Thanks for creating it
On a bit of a road trip this weekend to try and make some good progress on the new Mystery at the Museum souvenir challenge. I have very few unfound caches anywhere near home base, so these challenges are a good excuse to head off on a mission and potentially visit some new places.
This was another place I had never been before, on the drive around from Whangaroa to Matauri Bay. Had met the CO at an event a few months before, so was keen on getting this one.
Made sure to ask Dr Google before I left home and once at GZ, put the info to good use and soon had access to the wonderful sized cache. Loved the log book here and cache gets a fave from me. TFTC.

Found the cache, but did not have a way to get the needed info. After we drove on, we thought we got the correct info so we went back, but still could not access the cache contents. Maybe next time.
Today was the fifth day of our trip to the Bay of Islands region. After having a nice breakfast we set of heading north along the tourist drive. After visiting the Rainbow Warrior memorial at Matauri Bay we picked up the cache at the intersection leading to Matauri Bay. Before continueing along the tourist drive till we reached the beache at Te Ngaere to stop for a few minuets to relaxe. Continueing on we pulled up on the side of the road to sign into this Letterbox-Hybride. It was our first Letterbox. Having read the cachepage before we left this morning I had found the needed information before we arrived at GZ. Once at GZ the needed information was put into use and access to the cache was granted. Opening the box revieled a very nice and thoughtful logbook. Thank you for the effored put into this cache.
wow. an awesome awesome cache. Took the hint after finding it and bingo it was open before I could blink. So neat and the log was just neat. thankyou for such a great cache. one of a kind indeed. fav for sure.
We made the schoolboy error of not reading it all before we got to GZ! Google? Not on 2 phones that both said 'no service'. We decided to carry on down to the beach and collect the trad. At the beach various people were asked if they knew the answer but most like us were holiday makers. Finally we found a local gardener, he had service on his phone, so a quick Google and we turned round the van. Second time at GZ, and the signature was put in (great idea, no soggy logsheets here). Then back to the beach for a swim and lunch. Have a favourite point for showing us this amazing bay.

{FTF}The Seagnoid checks his phone at 6am and spies this new cache not far from where we are. So lets get moving and we hit the road 7.15. The Seagnoid often does not read the cache description. Get to GZ and find the treasure box well secured. I love this already. The Seagnoid tries to get inside but the usual ideas dont work so rereads the cache page. Bummer. and there is no cell reception here. Its back in Toby and back to civilisation to see who we can talk to at this hour of the morning. A maintenence man helped us out with his cell phone so its back to the cache. Yes this treasure box is now opened - ready for the next surprise. Love the inside. What a shell of an idea!! And to add to the experience we are the first {FTF}. Woo hoo. Fav from me. This is amazing. Thanks Brownie52.
Friday - day fourteen - Kerikeri - Waitangi, Paihia with The Seagnoid , toby and William. Zara gets to rest up in KeriKeri again.
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and Willam to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

{FTF} At last I have caught up with my logging to get here. Spent yesterday at Russell and last night at Kerikeri. Today we were to cache around Kerikeri, but then this popped up on the cellphone so here we are. Found the cache in zero seconds flat, then spent a minute trying to work out how to put the GC code into the padlock, but none of the usual encodings worked. Checked for previous logs - none. Well, that's not surprising. Checked the hint (even though I had already found the cache, so probably pointless) and was amazed to find the answer. Seems odd to me, that - encrypting info that everyone has to read anyway, in the area that you only look in if you can't find the cache. Anyway, out with the cellphone. Well, that's no good. Back to the car, back down to the beach. Some local will be able to help out. Found a non-local, his phone had signal, so we soon had the answer. Back to the cache. Opened it up... AWESOME!!! Left a few path tags, signed a great log book, stamped my log book. Giving this a favourite. Met the CO at an event later. Many thanks!
Wow what a great letterbox cache.
I was an hour away dropping the boys off for some mountain bike riding so I thought I would see if this one had gone. Arrived at gz not quite quick enough but more than happy with a second to find. thanks for the great hide/letterbox gets a favorite from me.

What a find this was. Walk up to the cache after seeing the chain that was tethering the cache. This is such an of easy to log a cache. Better that writing on a piece of paper. Tftc
