Find 3358Managed a nice nearby park and did the addition at posted coords. Off to the next stage and originally at the wrong info spot. That solved we converted by one was causing us a headache. Finally we were on the right track and the coords were in.Off for a quick find. Log signed and all back as found. Thanks queenant89
Thanks for placing this cache on the board. Found early on a Thursday As the spin class progressed. Tftc.
Out with the lovely echidna44 for a day caching. Lots of shower activity was forecast but we managed to dodge them. Checked one spot but no luck so widened my search and bingo. TFTC Queenant89
After finishing work in the area, I thought I would go geocaching in the Ashburton area before heading home. I think I made 7 finds and 1 non-search with workmen onsite, not too bad.Lots of people are doing sports in the area. However, the grass ovals were free of people. Was hoping I counted the car parks correctly and was pleased when sitting on the park bench working out the final everything looked good. Then I strolled to the GZ and quickly found the geocache. Thanks for the cache, Cherry Slice 88, and Queen Ant 89.Hunter
I needed to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=6a725450-9b6f-4892-abca-126a7026759c&ds=2) [WCW - 95% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z59M)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59M) and since I was in the area today for an appointment I decided to check what nearby multis caches I had unfound, when I spotted this one.So I ended up parking the geomobile at the posted coordinates and then quickly gathered the information at Waypoint 1, before make my way over to [Waypoint 2](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/wpt.aspx?WID=257c42a6-973b-4917-ab7d-9fa2701c3e41&RefID=18221736-4bec-41ef-b910-ed3b2d85bfef&RefDS=1). Once I arrived at [Waypoint 2](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/wpt.aspx?WID=257c42a6-973b-4917-ab7d-9fa2701c3e41&RefID=18221736-4bec-41ef-b910-ed3b2d85bfef&RefDS=1), I once again was able to easily obtain the required information I needed before making my way over to a nearby bench to work out my least favourite part of multi caches...the maths.Luckily, my maths actually worked out on the first try and gave me a set of logical coordinates and to my excitement GZ was only a short walk away. After a quick walk it was then a quick search before the cache was found and the logbook signed. A big thanks goes to [Cherryslice88](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=61a78063-3ab7-4dea-92de-c67ae9b4c43e&wid=ce952b4b-5d90-45fc-9e1c-b08cd053acd5&ds=2) for originally hiding this one and to [queenant89](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=3c21b8b1-31de-4287-8778-2a0c85ed2a85&wid=18221736-4bec-41ef-b910-ed3b2d85bfef&ds=2) for maintaining it now for me to find. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status***The cache container was in ok shape, but the paint is starting to peel off and the logbook was also in ok shape, but some moisture must have gotten in because the staples that are holding the logbook together are now rusted. However, the logbook was dry today and easily signed.
We failed coords at first, but then we figured out the coordinates. I got so close early on.
Need a Multi today for a long term challenge that I am working... so I stopped off on my way home from Balaclava to check out this cache. I wasn't too sure whether it was the pedestrian entrance or the vehicle entrance that applied at WP1 but that soon resolved itself when I started doing my arithmetic. A nice short and easy to find Multi on a sunny afternoon... thanks **Cherryslice88** for putting this cache out.
After barking up the wrong tree for a bit we found it after a bit of looking around. Found with co-worker Tom
Collected our answers and headed to gz. No luck, so we widened our search area and spotted the perfect hiding spot. We loved it Cherryslice88!
We collected all the information but had no luck at our calculated GZ. We rechecked our answers and widened the search and eventually found the cache. Thanks to Cherryslice88 for the challenge.
Was in the area doing the AL along the railway line and remembered that I had neglected your multi here CherrySlice88!
Avoiding a few swooping birds ,I collected the required information then sat down to do the sums - luckily it worked out and GZ was not too far away. Cache in good condition , now back to my fielding position - one more WP for the lab to do.

Found on a nice walk in Ashburton! This one has always been on my radar, as it is quite close to me, however have only just got it now. Log book was a little damp - also forgot a pen but attached is a photo for proof of find. TFTC
Found 7:25 am
Today a multi was required and so headed west to this one and with the clues collected got what look reasonable but soon realised I had made a small error which placed me in a another spot but no luck either, so decided to head southward to inspect the other options nearby and yep found it. Turned about my value of C was not right after taking coords of actual GZ was about by 2. So with log signed and return to its neat hiding spot, the cool temperatures was going to call it for today. Enjoyed the hunt for this one.

Had a bit of trouble finding the final location - thanks CO. Cache well covered. I think a lot more camo is over it now than when last found. TFTC
I found this cache today on my Nothing is Easy Today - Eastern Suburbs Tour. My final cache for the day was a multi, which I had managed to work out most of the clues before leaving home, which was great because I wanted to be home by 1:00PM and it was already almost 2:30PM. Once I had the final bit of info, it was off to the final spot. Thanks from D B-A
Catching up my logs for August. I had been here before but it had gone. It was an easy pick up this time. Thanks for the cache Cherryslice88
Had a DNF on this one 8 months ago (communication at the time with CO suggested the cache had disappeared), so it was great to be able to head back here today (just out of lockdown no. 4) with Julesc21 and change the sad face to a smiley. TFTC!
Nice walk around this park. Too many potential spiders at GZ for Finding.Sarah so I stuck my hand in the likely spot and had my fingers around it immediately.
Today we found Let's play cricket on our travels. I was on my way to Surrey Hills when a massive truck decided to cut across 3 lanes of morning traffic. What do you do when a truck starts to move into your lane when you are right next to them...like you are not even there...I drive a 4WD but I sure felt invisible and my camera certainly recorded some colorfully fruity words in my car! I got a bit further up the road and realised I was shaking so thought it wise to pull off Warrigal Rd and search up the nearest unfound cache because I needed to get out of the car for a bit! A smart move in hindsight! Very soon I was listening to the lorikeets complain about me interrupting their morning, info was gathered without a hitch, some plausible coordinates were gained and completely forgetting about the scary truck driver I was soon signing a cache as the lorikeets in the gums here continued to shout their displeasure at me. A brief interlude and very soon I was OK to rejoin the Warrigal road rat race!
Thanks Cherryslice88 for being part of our geocaching fun.

I found myself out this was for an errand. Having a little time spare before I needed to be somewhere and this one being where I was, off I went for a wander.
Collecting the information along the way that I needed, then came the maths. Ugh! I dislike maths very much but managed to fumble my way through it and come up with a set of co-ordinates. GZ was found easy enough along with a nicely hidden cache.
Thank you for the multi and cache here Cherryslice88

I had a few hours to while away so I went for a long walk around the neighbourhood to grab a few caches.
My previous attempt here had been a DNF. This time as I reviewed the information I saw a potential ambiguity to which I applied the alternative. This resulted in a set of coordinates that revealed the cache. TNLN. TFTC.

Thought we had found the final coords but no cache in sight. Did some recalculations and we got there! Tftc cherryslice88!

Out and about on my own escaping from lockdown for a while. This will be my second attempt at this one as it had gone last time. After a very tentative search at first because of picnicers close by I decided to recheck clues just in case it had been changed. Its the same so I return to find a couple of kindred spirits. By this time the picnicers had moved so we could give it a good search. SMS owner. We were in the right spot .... Maybe third time lucky but this time
As we were collecting the answers for this cache we heard a voice from behind asking "Are you cachers"? Yes, of course we were and after finishing our collection we joined the hunt for the cache. We had actually misinterpreted one of the questions ( which became apparent on doing the calculation so it was good to be able to confirm the right answer. However even though we were pretty sure we were in the right spot, the three of us were unable to find the cache after a decent search. Will have to return later.
YAPIDKA! Out for a 5 km radius ride exploring the trails on a bike in the burbs close to mums whilst in “carers role” - have to say it’s a far cry from the mountains in my backyard at home, but having said that, Melbs does a great job with its numerous parks and green belts. I must have started in peak hour but as the arvo marched on, people crept indoors and I had a quiet visit here with no ball games to be seen. Used the hands san and noted the last visit. Did the sums and made the find.
Took a couple of recalculations, a couple of messages to the CO, and a couple of visits, but tracked it down in the end.
A very enjoyable challenge and find.

Cherryslice88.. you probably can set your Geocaching 'watch' with the consistency of me logging one of your local caches on the second last or last day of each month. Yet again I found myself in this position so rather than waiting for the last day I got 'ahead of the game' by wandering out on a cold Monday night to tackle the most rare of things... a multi-cache!
I collected the information and after a slight mis-interpretation of a clue which required adjustment I came up with a set of likely co-ordinates which quickly delivered a container. Made my log by torchlight and ticked off another month.
Thanks again, you're saving me time and petrol!

The weather was looking good so plans were made to catch up with omegaman1971 and Happy Pants to do some caching , we had a great time finding caches in the area.
Thanks Cherryslice88 for the cache.
Thanks Cherryslice88 for the cache.
Mrs frilk and I decided to have a wander around the area and as a bonus grab a few caches along the way. This was our first stop...we were left with 2 possible options for the final location however neither of this were fruitful. Next time...
To cache or not to cache? Tough choice given the current situation and plethora of advice that's out there at the moment. I've spent the week at home with the family doing our best to follow advice to limit visits out. Knowing it might only get worse I felt I needed some exercise out this morning so I came here which is not to far from home to try a few caches that I hadn't visited before. After a find nearby this was my second target. Gathered the info at the posted coordinates though I did have two options for A that I noted for later. I headed off in the wrong direction to WP2 but after a quick correction I was back on track. No problems with the rest of the questions and this one worked out very neatly in the end. No cricket on today of course but aside from a few people exercising on the oval I was free to make the find without any problems. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the multi cache Cherryslice88.
Out for the day with ahomburg targeting some caches we both hadn’t found. We didn’t play cricket! Thanks for placing the cache Cherryslice88.

Some more Thursday afternoon and into evening fun with beckNmonts, with today the focus being Multi's, a couple of puzzles and avenging a DNF.
After a bit of confusion with 1 of the waypoints, we eventually got there. We did have to distract a muggle with dogs for a bit until he left to enable us to search. Took a bit of searching, but we did find it.
Many thanks to Cherryslice88 for the cache. TNLN.

It's not often that I find a cache on the way to work - it's usually on the way home. But the roads are so quiet at this time of the year, how could I not!
The first time I was here in October I couldn't find anything - I forgot to contact the CO but someone else must've as it was soon disabled. I returned in November, no cache - muggled again!
Third time lucky and today I made the find. Hopefully this one stays put. Thanks Cherryslice88!

It seems either my counting or my maths was a little off as there was no cache at my calculated gz. I decided to check the next item along before going back to re-check the numbers and found the container neatly tucked away.

Got this a couple months ago actually, can't believe I forgot to log it. Fairly simple if you follow the instructions
Quick find with geoHubby - needed to get some more steps for the day!
First person to sign the new log book! All in good condition- thanks for the hunt Cherryslice

Seached for a very long time for this one. GPS kept jumping so it was hard to pinpoint location accurately. Reread clues and looked at it from a different perspective. There it was staring me in the face. Shouldn't have overthought it so much. Easy find in the end.
I had the morning to myself so decided to try and get a couple of smilies on nearby caches. Parked up on this one and made my way to the start point. Took off on the first needed data and soon had it in hand (was to find out later I was at the wrong entrance). Headed to the waypoint and looked and looked for the sign as my GPS would not stop jumping. Traipsed all the way around the oval and swimming centre unable to find what I was looking for. Ended up back at the way point and there it was staring me in the face and I had not noticed it. Worked the maths out quickly and I had a problem my answer for question 1 was obviously wrong. Did a recount and now knowing what I needed I looked towards the 'other' entrance and joy oh joy I had a good set of coordinates. Off I went and soon had the cache in hand, log signed and returned. It's fairly open where it is so I have tried to cover it with bits of. All else at cache is good. TFTC Cherryslice88.

I needed a cache find for today to fill in the date on my way to qualifying for a challenge, and I almost forgot. Good thing I have some close-ish caches in reserve.
I made the quick drive to the posted coordinates and ventured out of the vehicle. It was bitterly cold while out collecting numbers that I returned to the car to escape and crunch digits in comfort.
Once I had some reasonable numbers I returned to the world of winter and, thankfully, made a quick find in the first place I tried.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Cherryslice88.

With my geopartner in the city all day and me having a place to park the car for free, a plan was hatched to go after work for some night caching as I rode back to the city where some chilli HSP awaited me after a cold evening caching. 4 hours for 20 km wirh all the detours for caches. Counting completed and maths organised I was happy GZ was a quick search. Thanks to Cherryslice88 for the placement and fun.

Finally! I'd tried finding this cache some time ago unsuccessfully and had left it on the 'I'll get back to it some day list'. In between that time and today I bumped into the CO at a city function and confirmed I was looking in the right spot or so I thought.
Upon revisiting the spot and having a thorough fossick I found nothing. At this point I began systematically searching other nearby structures that fit the description. Hmm, turns out I was out by 10m or so and had decided on the first spot based on it being a little less visible from the nearby field. What lesson did I learn? Never make assumptions.

Suscoe was up in Melbourne today for a few reasons and one of them was to find some caches.
The weather was pleasant for a Winter's day, started out very foggy and still and cold but as the day passed by the fog lifted, the temperature rose slightly and finally the sun broke through with blue skies.
We had a good run today with weekend traffic much better than weekdays.
Thanks to Cherryslice88 for this multi, we did the calculations and rechecked them but for some reason we were a little off GZ, so we extended our search and there was the hide.
Not sure how we ended up a little out but that happens sometimes.
All good in the end and a nice container was located.

Cache replaced with a much larger dryer one. It's larger than a cricket ball.
Came here for basketball today, not cricket, but had enough time before the game to hunt this one down. The numbers quickly fell into place and led me straight to a likely GZ. I suspect that the hide is not quite as intended, because the SAME WAY advice didn't make much sense, and the log was wet, but signable. We happily did so, and went inside to pay $4.80 for a cup of chips, not so happily. Thanks cherryslice88 for the better part of this trip.
I counted, read, and came up with a set of numbers. I had to readjust one number, then arrived at GZ for a well hidden cache. No cricket being played today!! Thanks for this multi Cherryslice88
Found with Listmaker. Not too hard although the hide eluded us until we looked properly!
Tricky little hide after a wander around grabbing the clues. Alansee bravely did the retrieval.

"Let's go to the pool!" This was the cry of TeamUs! at around lunch time today. I wasn't particularly keen as I had been granted a very late sleep in (thank you to all those involved) and was still blurry-eyed, but I love playing with my family at the pool and I had new swimmers so I decided to come along. My exclamation of "Oooo! There's a multi cache at the entrance", was met with a wry smile, but was included in the list of events regardless.
We got to Warner Street and started our information gathering. Geotoddler protested from the back seat and demanded to know which way the pool was and why we weren't going there first, but we shushed her and then ignored her while counting the car spots. A quick stop at WP2 and we had all the information so went to the carpark to get the geokids out and calculate the final GZ. I did the calcs while geopartner got geotoddler out of the car.
"Ah! Of course! Classic Cherryslice88 multi!" I exclaimed. And then I had a faint waft of something unpleasant. Smells like I will have to do a nappy change before we go much further. I got out of the car to see geopartner lifting geobub out of the car lifting his swimming rashie up as he went. And geobub's back was... well... I don't wish to be indelicate, so I will simply say "dirty" (in the same way that Townsville has recently been "wet". Dirty. The car set was dirty, but this was the least of our worries, as the dirtiness had expanded not only up geobub's back but to his shoulders and a little bit over. It was so bad that when we tried to get his rashie over his head his poor little head got dirty. Fortunately he doesn't have much hair. You may have heard of the expression of a "poo explosion", well this was exactly what we had on our hands here - literally on our hands. How on earth was there this volume of "dirt"? I've seen plenty of what I now know were minor leaks, but this was something else. It took a good twenty minutes of careful management to contain the spread and clean it up, which we did, quite successfully. At one stage I mentioned that I was simply grateful that it hadn't happened in the pool, to which geopartner responded with "I guess that means a win for geocaching". If we hadn't gone geocaching we would have been in the pool when this unfortunately "incident" occurred.
Geopartner headed off to give geobub a thorough wash before getting in the pool and I went in search of a quick find. But, alas, it wasn't meant to be. I searched and searched and searched and found a drink bottle in the most unlikely of places (I recycled it), but no cache and no log. I recalculated, but everything was at it should be. I feared I was missing out on some fun in the pool, so I abandoned ship and joined my family for some fun and frivolity.
Once everyone was well and truly tired from swimming we packed up to go only to find that our parenting skills are definitely lacking as we had no clothes to change into for the two geokids! We cobbled together an outfit out of a towel for one and a clean nappy for the other and dressed thus we returned as a whole party to conduct the search. The search radius got bigger and bigger and bigger, and eventually I found a very easy hide. Clearly something wrong with my numbers. A recount of everything revealed no new information, but now that I am home I suspect that one of the car spots was perhaps occupied by a car (and hence counted) when it really should not have been.
Thank you for the cache Cherryslice88. It was definitely as experience! None of it your fault - in fact I think you saved us from a very embarrassing incident and the closing down of an entire swimming pool. If the log is a bit too graphic I will amend it (but I think that most parents out there will just be nodding in sympathy).

New replacement log now in place. Let's see how long this one lasts. Have fun.
Out and about this afternoon with quiet1_au, this was our next cache for the day. c:geo on my phone decided it was going to give me any cache descriptions today so it was a bit tricky, lucky the others had gps’s with full details
The most ironic part of this cache was that we had seen several cricket matches by this stage yet there wasn’t one here!! G & q calculated GZ and the cache was found. Unfortunately the log was very damp and needs replacing

Ironically this cricketing cache was one of the few that didn't have it going on nearby today! Stopping at WP1, G GJMMelb headed off to tackle the first clue whilst I continued my workings on the second half of the clues, many of them figured out enroute in the car and needing a just few checks at WP2. GZ didn't quite turn out to be the spot J had suggested but very close to it. I spotted the cache quickly but not the extraction aid - no matter - and managed to get my pen to work on the damp log (although whether it will say readable or bleed remains to be seen) TFTC Cherryslice88
I was nearby and in the mood for a multi so I stopped here and had a bit of a stroll about. Most of the counting tasks were straightforward and a plausible GZ was shortly constructed. I found the cache without too much trouble but *did* have trouble making much of a mark on the log, which seems keen on a transition to papier-mâché-ness. I guess a certain container type will never be waterproof no matter how much we'd like it to be the case.
Thanks once more Cherryslice88!

After doing the required work and battling some killer ants we soon had the log signed.
Cheers for the cache

Just following our GPSr today grabbing a few caches with omegaman1971 and we swung past the gz and had a crack at this straight forward little multi. Did the maths easy enough but struggled to find a spot to sit without the over friendly ants finding their way on us. We blamed the recent heavy rain and humid weather for sending them mad, it seems to have the same effect with me. We eventually worked out a reasonable set of co-ord's and then set off and managed a quick find. It looks like last nights down pour has found its way into the container as the log sheet was thoroughly soaked. Still managed to leave our mark but it is worth a visit from the CO to check it out and either dry it out or replace the log sheet. Thanks Cherryslice88 for the fun little multi and the hide.
Gotta be quick,
Can't be slow,
or you'll get caught
in the rain, ya know!
A quick and easy multi that didn't take very long to do on a warm afternoon before the rains came.

This is our every evening dog walk park. Missed this new one and only found when N got a new Android phone and loaded the C:geo app. Always thought this park deserved a cache. Thanks...and nice retrieval mechanism. HNT
Out this morning for a walk in the area. Collected all the information, made the calculation and soon found the cache. Lots of muggles out today, mostly children on the oval doing holiday program activities. Thanks for the cache.
Had a few problems with this cache. First, I counted the parking spots to the pedestrian entry, rather than the car entry. Then, I arrived at the wrong sign which made things tricky. Eventually finding the right sign, I still struggled with C. Was it the word above in the sign or the word above in the question? Regardless, I could not make the numbers work for me, as I ended up with a negative. I was about to give up and email the CO, when I thought I would look around briefly for the cache...and I found it!
Not sure what I have done wrong as no one else seems to have had problems. Anyway, thanks for another cache, Cherryslice88. You are a cache hiding star!

In the area preparing for an orienteering event that we are organising for next Monday night, yeah sure, I can squeeze a cache or two in
As I was decoding the clues I said to MuggleWifeDoes that the cache is in that thing over there. I was close, it was in one of those but not that one, it was this other one over here.
I love this game...
**Thanks for placing this cache Cherryslice88**

I have never liked cricket much, but had a good time doing this multi. Growing up, my family was cricket mad, with my brother being a good cricketer and my father a coach, but the joy of the game eluded me.
A short drive to square leg.
No ball.
A long drive to the far boundary.
Four.
An edge down inside leg.
Six!
Over.

A nice and warm day for caching after the pool which just happens to right next to the cache area. Did all the counting and observations and the calculations and came up with a set of suitable numbers which were put to the test. Following the directional indicator GZ was approached and thoroughly inspected. And this yielded the prize . Found I was 2TF after a joint FTF by Spiffy and The Welder.
Thanks Cherryslice88 for the hunt and chase. SL TNLN.

Joint FTF with spiffy-
I was happily enjoying tea while I listened to the Big Bash on the car radio. Summer isn't complete without the sound of cricket on the radio.
And as I wrote a log from earlier in the day, I noticed I'd received an invitation an hour ago... It simply said, "Let's Play Cricket"
How could I resist?
I donned the whites and had the WelderMobile heading over to the ground quicker than a speeding drinks trolley on a hot day. But with an hour already elapsed, the asking run rate for a FTF looked pretty stiff.
The first over was easy. And it gave me a chance to play myself in. The second over was more of a challenge. I found it hard to play each ball on its merit while I was getting lost in Duckworth Lewis calculations.
And that when a familiar face arrived to help form a solid partnership. I played the sheet anchor while spiffy- (and his 12th and 13th men) went to town on the total and quickly reeled it in.
Cricket is all about partnerships, but I think spiffy- earned the Man of the Match award tonight!
Thanks so much, CherrySlice88. You've prepared a great wicket to play on here.

Yay *FTF*
After getting a FTF earlier in the evening I left this one and headed out to dinner. After dinner it was still not found so I headed the few kilometres here with the 2 biggest geokids and started gathering the clues. The first clue we managed to work out while slowly driving along. Brilliant...I love being lazy.
Got to waypoint 2 to find The Welder who had just arrived as well.
I then did some calculations with my kids looking over me correcting my mistakes. Then we headed off and after a quick search by others I then did a thorough search and made the find.
Thanks Cherryslice88 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
