Busy place. Better on this side of the fence.Caching in the Adelaide Hills on a crisp cool summer morning. Sandyofthesea and I are supporting a crazy running mate who has run the length of NZ, Tassie and has got to Murray Bridge. Today, he is off to the Toll Gate from Littlehampton and his goal is Darwin.BratKat, I found The Fachwerk of Friedrichstadt today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
Thanks for the cache BratKat. After a lovely wander through the Tottness CP, I picked up this on one the way back to Adelaide. I seemed to wander all around it and finally managed to see it from the right angle. The cache is in good condition, found and signed and replaced as found.

Found with Olga at 4:59 pm. All these lovely tucked away properties, all within earshot of the freeway.
I have been past this cache on the Highway so many times, finally it was great to be on the right road, stopped here and made the quick find. Cache js all good
Today we headed up in the hills to head to beerenberg for some lunch /afternoon tea so decided to do a few caches along the way followed by a nice walk in the bush to finish off the area before heading back down into the city.
Thanks for the cache

Quick easy driveby. TFTC and bringing me up this interesting road. Certainly are a few lovely looking historic properties here.
Owl had to get the Owlmobile fixed and enlisted the help of JJ52 to keep her entertained for the day. This resulted in a road trip, some nice walks, a new place to have lunch and general merriment. They managed to miss all the fachwerk in the excitement but did find the cache.
I had picked up Doctor Owl from the car dealership where her car was undergoing some repairs and we headed for the hills. [^]
A list was made of some caches we both had not found along with a few others that one of us hadn't found and it turned out to be a lovely day driving on some nice back roads, then having a few small walks and a very yummy lunch in Stirling.
All in all a great day out in the sunshine with more caches than we thought we would find.
This was one of those caches that you drive right past on the freeway and never come down this road. Today was the day for us to get off the freeway and after a nice drive the cache was soon found. [^]

An interesting drive, a road I never would have used if not geocaching. Thanks for bringing me here BratKat.

TFTC BratKat! This cache got us the Leap Day souvenir. YAY.
Found by the Aussie branch of Dobie's Pride/GronwoldFamily on a beautiful late summer day.

Great little cache. Not sure if I went the long way around but seemed a bit tricky to get to. TFTC
Today I was travelling up the slow road instead of the fast one, so this was a nice and easy park and grab.
Thanks for the cache BratKat (formerly known as A Taller Wicker).

Needed a find for the 7 day streak so headed out after dinner.
A quick find, cache and contents are all good.
Must come back during daylight hours to fully appreciate the architecture

Accurate coordinates and a straightforward hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks BratKat for the cache.
Such fachwerk is certainly worth the drive along here to see!
Plenty of interesting f houses.
Continued down the road a nice drive despite the locals making you feel less than welcome heading into Mt Barker.
SA's one big summer track, right

I was so much fun to find yes I was hard but we found it in the end kind regards the EFS 19
This year I set myself 2 goals. First one is to have a minimum of 5 caches on each calendar day. Shouldn't be hard as I only have 13 days of caching to achieve this. So I added another one to fill in and many of the 83 calendar days that I am missing having found a puzzle cache. To date I have crossed out 23 but missed 8 including yesterday so I was to eager to get a puzzle today. [^] But this was also a day that I needed to get at least 4 cache finds. [B)] Would have been easy to got some drive-bys but I have no drive-by puzzles close to home! So bush walking it was.
But having a long bush walk during the afternoon didn't get me the required number of caches so I had to settle in the end for a few drive-bys on the way home.[^] Luckily I had left a few close to home caches for just such a time.
This was one of them. A little further along this road was a stretch called clay hill where 4 WD enthusiasts used to take on the hill. I took a wrong turn once and got stuck on it in a commodore, but that is another story. It was since been graveled!
So I stopped in here on the way home and made a quick find. I then continued and traveled down now graveled hill without incident. [^]

Coordinates changed from:
S 35° 3.072 E 138° 49.787
Coordinates changed to:
S 35° 3.076 E 138° 49.793
Distance from original: 38.6 feet or 11.8 meters.
Multiple finders had indicated that the cache was a fair distance from the coordinates so I went in to do a double check. The new coordinates should make it an easy find!
Please make sure you put some camo over the cache as it is a little bit too easy to see it from the road

Loved this spot. I never knew this little Germany was here. A must on the list when I bring friends from the Fatherland here next time. Well done.
Thanks to BratKat and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
Now this is why I cache. An absolute gem of a journey to the cache as we passed these unique buildings. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC. A favorite point dropped.
Enjoyed the drive just a few kilometres from home to admire the architecture. Thanks for the cache BratKat!
Quickly located while taking my mom out for a drive! My take on the co ordinates perfectly matches those listed in Cruiz-n's log. Thanks for the hide!!

Mr Tardis took the long way home from Mt Barker via this road. I've been down here before but never really took notice of the houses.
I found the cache after a short search.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache BratKat.

Travelling around with Tyred n Cranky while on our annual Trip to South Aurstalia for the Tour Down Under Bike race.
After the race had gone through Echuna twice today we headed off, Tyred n Cranky were on their bike so i had the van to myself for a couple of grabs.
I took the back road back to Mount Barker, to grab some smilies. WOW so close to the main road here. was quite interesting to see the cars Zoom by from behind the fence.

A bit of a detour off the freeway today, meant we came down a road we been down before for caches.
Found it eventually about 8m SE of listed, sorry too hot out here to linger any longer waiting for GPSr to average some better co-ords!
Not found under a peach tree either! hahaha

Thanks

FTF at 12.51 am with hevwalker & theduke.
hevwalker & I decided to detour this way after the Glenelg event as it wasn't too far out of our way.
We approached to find a car & a man standing near gz looking confused.
Nuts, maybe we're not too late [:0]
With three gps and finding the fence in the way we decided to widened the search a bit
Finding the gps behaving it's self while back on the dirt road.
The cache was soon found, the joke was it was metres away from where hevwalker had parked the car
Thanks for the cache & the midnight adventure BratKat

Joint {ftf} with hevwalker and clare007 at 12:51. After returning from the cricket and bringing in the new year, I noticed that this one was still yet to be found. As it was close to home, I couldn't resist a bit of night caching. Hevwalker & clare007 arrived at gz very soon after. Was quite a challenge searching at night and for me the coordinates put me out by a few meters. An expanded search and the cache was found. Im sure it will be easier during the day. Thanks BratKat. Happy New Year
