Nice easy find thank you. Love going out to Baylys Beach! Make sure you do the cliff walk on the left if your out there!
I found it swimming at the beach with only its top on, no bottoms. I very quickly took it back to the cachemobile from where I had a spare bottoms for it. It is now fully clothed again.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Found the lid and logbook of the cache only. Log book was still in the plastic bag so quite dry so we signed it. Didnt have a replacement cache so we tucked it back in hiding place but it will need maintenance to keep it safe over the winter.
A nice quick find, which was good because I think I might have worried some ladies by 'hanging around' the toilets. Oops. TFTC
While I’m reading the hint and looking at the activity, Mr Larphs just ducks his head and finds it. Fine then. Blustery day blowing away the cobwebs.
I typically don't have enough time to get the caches out of town, but I made time today to drive out to get this cache. I stopped right at GZ mostly because I was worried about getting stuck in the sand if I went any farther. After a short search, I found the cache. TFTC.
Spending a few days in the north moseying around in the camper. Mrs S has never been to Baylys Beach so we came out for a drive and a look see. First we drove the camper down the road then realised we shouldn’t have done that, so we went did a fifteen point turn around and returned to the carpark, then walked down. Mr S found the cache. He had thoughts of surf casting but it was much to windy for that with a blustery on shore breeze. So the fishing rod stayed the camper once more. Damn.
Thanks Riser5.
Thanks Riser5.
Yay!
A new cache in Dargaville

Thanks Riser5

Over on this side of Northland to put out the long line with Dad. It’s my last couple of days left in New Zealand before heading off to the UK indefinitely on my latest OE so I’m squeezing in a few activities to make the most of the last of the kiwi summer.
A quick find here. Cache does appear to be a magnetic for sand but all is dry inside. My last cache in New Zealand for the foreseeable future as I’m off to the UK for an extended period. TFTC

WHAT A BEACH!!! Easy find. A little sandy atop the container but still clean inside. Dropped in a couple of coins and a pin for future geocachers. Tftc.
Found. Just don't take 6 kids with "push the button" syndrome or you will get a...!!
Found this Cache as my first find in 2019. I hope many are to follow this one. Off to a good start for my New Years Resolution starting small by trying to find a Cache each day in January. Drove up here from Te Kopuru after seeing the Cache pop up on the map to go for a walk at Baylys Beach. Located the Cache quick without taking an accidental shower.
We roll up to Bayleys Beach but think twice about taking Toby onto the sand. After an amazing event to experience the last sunset of 2018, thanks for the extra surprise of a new cache. With the flag bearer marking the way and the troups following along we proceed to GZ.
Under the watchful eye of the CO we start searching for a quick find. Now to tag this one with everyones names. Thanks heaps for this Joint {FTF} What a wonderful way to finish off the evening.
Now time to drive back to Whangarei to meet some of you again tomorrow morning. WE pick up Zara and head towards Ocean Beach. Finally making camp at 11.30 to hear the New Year roll in from local parties.
Monday - New Years Eve - day seventeen - Whangarei - Dargarville - Whangarei today in Toby. Zara gets another rest. So lets go exploring!!
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and William to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

Joint {FTF} after the New Year's Eve sunset event. A great way to finish an awesome day, an awesome year, culmination of a great event. I think the CO planned the release time! Joined the made rush from event GZ to the new cache and with a gazillian people stepping on each other it was found in no time.
Day seventeen of an awesome, tiring, long, three week holiday geocaching with Taybeedragon in the upper north. Taybeedragon and I scooted over from Whangarei this morning, especially to visit the kauri museum, then back to Dargaville for a sundown event and back back to Whangarei for bed and a sunrise event. The whole trip comprised of hours of walking on sand, sliding down sand dunes, hundreds of kilometres of unsealed roads, car breakdowns, paddling out to islands, lighthouses, dolphins, goats, events, FTFs, weird boulders. You name it, we saw it. Lots of bisons, lots of cache maintenance, lots of sunscreen. A month is enough. I am glad to be back home. Except that now I have to write up my trip. We averaged just 20 caches per day, but that is still a lot of logging!
Happy new Planetary Orbit from the Seagnoid!

A surprise new publish after the goodbye 2018 event. Joint {FTF} with the other attendees. A great spot TFTC
Over at Baylys for the CO's sunset event to see out 2018, when this new cache popped up. As a group we made a beeline for GZ, with the CO in close attendance to watch our antics.
Having spotted the CO in a suspicious location as we drove on to the beach to the event, I had a good idea where we should be looking and so it turned out with a nice quick find. So a combined FTF here with others from the event group making this number 85 for me. TFTC

Enjoying the sunset on the beach when a new cache popped up...joint FTF with the team. Thanks for the cache.
