Lovely find! Was searching for half an hour without finding it, only to find it where I didn't expect Absolutely brilliant spot!
Returning from Gold Coast to Auckland, but had to make a 5 hour stopover in Wellington. Oh well, a good excuse for a couple of hours walk to find some nearby caches ... No muggles about in the park, so was able to make a nice quick find at GZ. TFTC
Finally managed to get this one after multiple attempts at various times of day and the park being full of families each time. Easy find in the end so probably could have pulled it off regardless. Tftc!
Been trying to find this one for ages! Finally got to it when there was time to fossick. Tftc.
Had a loan of my friends bike today and had a great time visiting different spots around Miramar today. It is the perfect way to get around to all the different spots. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Thanks for sharing and caring. An easy catch... This was our last cache in NZ before going back to Germany.31. Januar 2024 12:35
Quickly spotted cache, had to be a little sneaky retrieving and returning it - a busy small muggles area. Just had to wait for the right moment. Cache all tucked away again. TFTC
Trouve ! / Found it ! 4482me cache trouve.Merci miramark pour la cache 4482th cache found.Thank you miramark for the cache
Also couldn't get the log out, there is a bit of space to not have it in such a tiny container? Sneaky sneaky clue!
Found, but the log was so jammed I couldn’t get it out even with tweezers. I’ll attach a photo for proof of find. TFTC
Apologies geo friends. The cache lost its magnetic personality so i have removed for treatment.

Been a lot of rain lately and all obvious places for the cache to be have been messed around a bit with mud. Maybe worth a CO check?
Cool little cache. Took us a while! No spider seen that others mention. Thanks !
Out and about with Flowerydaze and what a lovely day it was too. We attended the event earlier in the day held near Parliament by our Dutch visitors. A tricky little find here well hidden here, very pleased to find this one, so its on to the next one. TFTC miramark
A beautiful windless, sunny Wellington day - not surprisingly there were so many children in the park that Talla64 and I were concerned we would not accomplish our mission to find this cache. However, it was not a problem; we took a seat and no-one took a bit of notice of us. The cache was a quick find, all good here. Thanks for the cache miramark.
Mum is helping me log all my caches that I haven't logged yet.Found with Mum (LL113) and Dad (GNARwhal).
Bit of Wedding Anniversary (4 years!!) caching with LL113 and UnicornLex
Protector of the Cache has dislodged.. CO will know what I mean

What does one do on their wedding anniversary during the school holidays?? Go Geocaching with GeoHubby (GNARwhal) and GeoDaughter (UnicornLex) of course!!!
After grabbing a bite to eat at the local bakery, it was time to carry on. This cache was next on our list, much to Miss 9’s delight as she loves this playground.
Took a minute or two to find, and unfortunately the spider mentioned in a previous post was on the ground. I’m amazed it was just sitting there. Replaced the cache as found and placed spider behind the log directly behind.

Awesome hide! Well hidden. Needs some glue though. We loved the playground too! TFTC
Eek! Very glad Mr B found this one! Very cute logbook and container but definitely needs tweezers to get log out! An after dark find as too many kids during the day! What a great way to finish the day!
Checkes in today, the original cache has disappeared, i have replaced it with something a bit smaller. Have fun!
School holiday mission to Miramar peninsula.
Lots of muggle kids at the playground, so had to bide our time for a while and be quite sneaky.
Thanks!

Out for a bike ride, and was heading past here, so it would be rude not to pause briefly and find this cache, cheers
First time back after a long break from caching. Lovely day to come back to it! TFTC!
New water proof log, all good to go.
New seating, toilets and water fountain have been installed. Despite all these upgrades - the cache has thankfully remained in its original spot.

I have just been to check this cache after the recent DNF. The cache is still able to be found. The fence does not block off the area where it is located.
I think I've been past here maybe half a dozen times since this cache was published and I always have a look at the muggle situation to see if I should stop for a look. Today I was in Miramar and this wasn't on my route but since it was a bit of a miserable day it occurred to me that it might be ideal conditions to come here. So a quick diversion and sure enough the playground was deserted. So, out of the car, past da choppa for an immediate find of the cache. Muggles or not I still don't want to be lingering in a playground so I was grateful for the straightforward hide.
Amusingly it was only recently I realized what the title refers to when I'd read that Arnold Schwarzenegger used his own meme in reference to the Ingenuity Mars helicopter. Although I'd seen the relevant movie I was not aware of that line as a meme so it was good to find the scene as a refresher.
Thanks for the cache - and the pop culture education.

I made the mistake of coming on a nice sunny afternoon with my dog, and all the kids run to say hi to him... next time I'll come on a rainy day!
Great to see that the helicopter that I loved as a child is still in great condition. Thanks for the cache.
I usually try to avoid playground hides but it was early enough that there was no-one around. TFTC.
I called here a few weeks ago but there were too many people in the park - understandably a popular place for the young ones. Today, there was just one mum with three children so I decided to give it ago. They didn't seem to pay any attention to me but I still wanted to make it a quick mission so as to not feel creepy. And quick it was, with a sensible hiding place, I wasted no time in attending to the paperwork and replacing the cache.
Just the one cache found today - having a break before doing the grocery shopping. Found fairly easily enough with @peadub, though we would probably have looked in the wrong place if there hadn't been any muggles around. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
I'm working on a streak, and I decided to fill today's slot with a lab cache. You have to be careful logging lab caches, as GC does not log the date correctly - they log them on Seattle time, not local time. That means I have to wait till about 8pm, when Seattle time turns into today. Ilogged the lab cache at 20 past midnight today (which I think was 20 past 8pm NZ time. I confirmed Seattle time from the geocaching pocket queries page). The lab cache showed up with the correct date in the list of labs found but added to my main stats for yesterday! WHAT?!? DAMMIT! So I shot out again to get a simple traditional to log for today. This one. Nice easy find, but getting late at night so I wasn't able to see much about the playground.
First cache of this style for me. I Was told as a hint to solve another cache I hadn't revisited YET, so I'm happy to put the process into practice. TFTC
Much easier under the cover of darkness, have had a couple failed attempts in the daylight! Tftc
Night is definitely the best time to look for this cache without looking too creepy
i left school at lunch to go look for it and i found it under a seat. thank you so much it was so fun !
I knew from past experience that this is a very popular playground, so decided best to visit after dark. Quick find, cache in good order. Tftc!
A nice one of these types subtly accessible without crawling around! Love the name too, great place and no one about tonight after my airport drop off, makes it easy. Thanks for the hide
We were at the park today and I thought I'd check on this while we were close. The cache has shifted a little bit since I placed it - so I have returned it to the original spot. Cache is looking good and waiting to be found.
Great cache and awesome park, I've driven past it before but never stopped, Kids had a blast!
