Heading south from Darwin today for a few days in Batchelor while we visit from Sydney. Had to laugh when we found this container and worked out how the cache name related! Nice one! SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Mrs C found this one while I was busy 10 metres away looking in the wrong location. Wow what a great cache Croker Crew, and such fun to find. Buddy the geodog helped us with this one. Found on 25 July 2024. # 9611
A bit of fun with this one. 5 caused a bit of tricky but fun all the same. Always good to stop for a cache a bit fun and different. Great rocks and cool tree growing out them here too.
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT.Now with a detour to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island and finally along the Savannah Way through Hells Gate, then Nhulunbuy and Wadeye.TFTC. A sidetrack to Litchfield National Park for a few hours turned into a couple of days.A great fun cache. Nice one. Excellent tree roots.
Found and signed, thank you. Quick find - took a bit longer to get to the log! With probsty.
Found it while with Silence49 while travel around Australia . Thanks for placing it
Well my whirl wind tour of 5 states in 3 weeks has started and after reaching the SA border and now the NT border it was time to locate a few caches here or there as I won’t be doing that much caching on this trip as I’m with muggle friends.
We have finally reached another spot where we are staying for 4 nights this time to really enjoy the sights of Litchfield NP.
So after another casual night I got up early and headed off to find a few caches before they got out of bed.
This is one of the ones that I did.
Heading back to camp I soon found a spot to park and off I went with my hiking thongs on.
Soon located the cache and that’s where the fun began.
I hope your ears were burning .
Definitely a fav goes out to you for this one.
Thanks Croker Crew TFTC.

A day trip to Litchfield, lots of waterfall & people enjoying swimming holes
We only had a couple of caches to find, some had very rough roads to negotiate.
What a great way to tour the country following the geocaching trail.
This was definately worth a FP
Thanks to the CO for placing this cache
On our Honeymoon we stopped here and found this Cache together with luzern26. Nice kind of a box. Tftc

After a day out in Litchfield doing some of the sights we retired to our accommodation, then, to make the most of the available daylight headed out to Batchelor for some more finds.
Very cool. We’re big fans of doubled containers so this was right up our alley! Samuel even made a YouTube short from it….
Good coordinates and helpful hint too.
Thanks for hiding this cache!

Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and return through the centre to SA and home again. We are in Darwin for a few days before heading south again.
Today, we drove to Adelaide River, enjoying the scenery, history, and, of course, the caches along the way. Thanks Crocker Crew. It was easy to find the cache and fun to get to the log. And another fave point.

Travelling with iluvtrekking and a return visit after eleven years. Today we are caching down to Adelaide River and surrounds. We’ll worth the 40 klm detour - made us chuckle . Thanks for the hide.
This leg of the day was a little unplanned but resulted in some very good finds
This trip was sort of in place of a trip to a Mega that got canceled due to accommodation problems, I was quite happy when Goose said do you fancy to caching break in the Northern Territory as this would be the last State or Territory for me in Australia.
Our plan was to fly into Darwin on the Friday night have a couple days in the area then start heading South stopping overnight whenever we needed to, our next goal was the drive to the geographic centre of Australia at Lambert Centre and then head back to Alice to fly home ten days later.
We both had a great trip finding some important old caches, large ones and the odd clever one too, we found Ammo Cans all over the place which was nice as i think we have found most of the ones at home in Tassie.
Thanks for the cache.

I thoroughly enjoyed this cache, it was a bit of fun and a great way to end our Litchfield visit.
Thanks Croker Crew, this deserves another favourite point.
Our Northern Territory journey began in Darwin around 3am after a very delayed flight. We drove as far north as Fresh Water Camp (northeast of Darwin), followed by a loop to Liberated Cox (out to the west) and Litchfield National Park returning to Darwin. We then headed south with overnight stops at Katherine, Daly Waters and Devils Marbles before reaching our southernmost accommodation at Erldunda. From here we did a day trip to Lamberts Gravitational Centre on onward past Finke. Our last couple of days were in Alice Springs with a side trip via Hermannsburg and Glen Helen, all up covering just under 3800km. My thanks to all the COs with hides throughout the territory for helping make our trip so enjoyable.

Morning find just on sunrise.
Decided to head out early from our accommodation in Batchelor - so drove up here to get the double bill.
Thanks Croker Crew for the hide. Did take a little time until the hide was spotted. I agree with the favourites - and have another - frustrating to get to log but unique. Replaced as found.

We spent two days exploring Litchfield National Park, enjoying the gorgeous landscapes and the occasional swim. With some geocaching thrown in, it was even better.
A very nice spot for a cache. Mrs Bear didn't really know where the North was but wouldn't admit it. Mr Bear followed his idea and his gps and therefore found the cache... and a little later even the logbook.

A lovely hide, location and final cache as we left the Litchfield National Park today.
So many great walks, sandstone monolith‘s, termite mounds and wonderful swimming holes and creeks.
We are so glad we have had the opportunity to visit to this beautiful place.
Thanks Croker Crew. Adding a FP here.

Thanks for this cache out. A quick stop in the early morning before it got too hot and there was too many muggles on the road. You wouldn’t want to be in a hurry !

A Russian Doll type of cache, one inside another inside another etc. great cache. Logbook full.
TFTC one of the best for awhile. Bit daunted at first, but a top find. Nice spot. Happy travels. A favourite.
Found at 1:32:00 PM(t) GAFF1.
Ha! Now I get the number sequence! What was surprising though was that the container was sitting in a cleft of a rock without any camo!
We have found caches like this before, but this one was totally unexpected - FP
Thanks Croker Crew.

Today was an adventure down to Litchfoeld NP for the next leg in the Great Aussie Icon Hunt. It started off soooo good, until we got to about 8 klm from the turnoff and we hit the roadworks, blocking off both sides of the road and using traffic lights to control. 1 and half hours later we get to the turn off, passing about 5 caches due to the bumber to bumber traffic.
Picked up a few and also a couple of DNF's, but all good when we got to the Bitter Springs Tavern for lunch 3pm, and a cooling ale.
Loved the containers a fav point

Over from Perth to enjoy Darwin for a few days Today was a drive down to Litchfield NP with a few caches on the way... and a few on the way back This was one that I stopped off at. Not sure how much of the NP I'll get to see today as lots of local closures due to wet season flooding / conditions, but this one was an easy climb and grab on the way in Worked my way through unpacking them all but then hit the snag referred to in previous posts: one of the containers is a bit too snug and doesn't come out. Tried picking around the edges with my fingers and then just as I was going to take it back to the car I realised there is a pen-sized hole in the bottom and I could push it out After that it was back to unpacking... all the way to the log Now the cache name makes sense! All ok here, great spot - TFTC
We are part of the group of 8 from Radiance of the Seas...enjoying this beautiful area!
Part of group from Radiance of the seas, a great day to tour and geocache. Hello from Iowa, USA
Our merry band of 8 geocachers from the Radiance of the Seas toured Litchfield National Park today. We are from all over the US but love cruising and geocaching. This was our second stop and our tour guide who was much younger and more agile found it. Hello from California.
We were a part of the gang of eight off the Radiance of the Seas who were on a tour of Litchfield Park.
This one took a little scrambling and the youngest (and nimblest) of the group made the actual find, right where it was supposed to be. Oh, he also was our guide, and not one of the gang of eight.
This was surprise after surprise. Unfortunately the ability to open a container was damaged, and a tool required to open it. Future finder, be prepared. A knife will suffice.
Duly logged and put back where it belongs.
TFTC, from the USA.

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving around in the Litchfield NP.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'Croker Crew' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Gateway to Litchfield 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8.....' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .
