The wind died down overnight and we woke to a beautiful sunny morning with the barest of a breeze. So it was onto the bikes and out to the Bengello trail to see how far we could get. We ended up making it to the entrance at Moruya Beach with plenty of finds and a couple of DNFs. Coordinates were generally very good, and the hides well set up and in good condition. Towards the end there were some really interesting containers which we appreciated.Riding the trail was not as easy as well-formed pathways but the bush very interesting, broken up by the occasional excursion over to the beach. We made it back to camp by lunch time, both a bit worn by the ride and the rough countryside we at times had to cover to get to GZ. In the later afternoon we headed out again to find a couple of other caches close to camp.A great series we enjoyed, so we will be back in the next few days to work on those remaining.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Youban.**SKI Pair****
Accompanied by ALL7, Nice weather was partly cloudy with little showers, then a little while later, it became fully sunny, we travelled to Broulee to run a series of heaps of caches. Some drove, some walked, and some biked. Some **(WOW)** excellent ones are interesting, look at clever ones on the drifferent types of caches in different ways. Love it. Signed the log by the stamp of us. TFTC

Out for a day of caching on the South Coast with Steeba and The Rats, aiming for a few series and finishing with the 20th Anniversary Earthcache Event.Hot day for a walk, bet we will be wishing for a sea breeze by the end. Let's see howany of this series we can knock over.Cheers
Out for a days caching with steeba and Hoojar. We had a lovely day on the south coast. This was one of many we found throughout the day.TFTC
A great day out caching with Bogonghazy. Very clever cache. Thanks for placing the geocache
Out with LittleBoss2 to do these along the airstrip. A lot of bush bashing and scratches, but worth it for the clever hides. Ahah, my star sign
Tried to conserve energy by following the animal trail rather than the main trail. epic fail ...spotting cache first pass Epic fail. Interesting info for you if you a kill this particular creature the smell alerts it's friends.
A day of walking along the tracks between Broulee and North Moruya Heads for a whole bunch of caches. Pleasant walk through the forest and only light bush to have to walk through, some really good cool caches in this area. TFTC.
Caching down the South Coast and district for a few days. TFTC.
So I thought I might try the beach access instead of the airport. Nope. Both hard.

Aargh!
I’m happy, we don’t see insects that look like this here on the south coast. We opened this one very gingerly do not disturb or annoy the guardian.
Log signed, and we hope this one does stay in Africa
Thanks Youban

Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through east coast, chasing some warm weather, then back down centre, once thing’s warm up again. I hope to grab a few caches along the way.
This was one we picked off while out on a ride today.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can enjoy finding it.

Today's cache and walk was walking the Bug's way trail. Lots of planes and skydiving around too. We didn't come prepared for bush bashing this part of the trail. We think that the terrain has certainly grown bigger and more pricklier than when this cache was first placed, more than a terrain 2 rating now. Next time we need to wear long pants, maybe gaiters and long sleeved top too to tackle this cache. TFTC
I decided I needed another solo geocaching holiday to detox before uni so I thought the Bengello caches (the Bengello Walk and all the other nearby series') were a great excuse for holidaying at Broulee! Bengello is a stunning area, with a great mix of lovely vegetation and awesome ocean views. The weather was hot today but super blue and lovely, and (for the most part) pretty shady! Started walking at 7am (I didn't get a good sleep) from my accommodation and got back at 3:30pm, with 55 caches to boot. Great to spend Valentine's Day spending time around my true love, geocaching!
The bug series was a lovely walk along a very unique walking track considering it's right next to the runway! After a bit of bush bashing to each one, they were found pretty quickly. Fun theme, always love something a little different! It was also fun guessing what the bug was based on the name - some I got, some not so! TFTC Youban!

With ACT residents no being able to travel to an area around the capital including the coast, it was time to plan a trip. There was a good sized group where we were going to base in Moruya for three days. I traveled with Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny. Others were Cosmonaut97, Kitty Katch, Joolay, Barb2e, fitzy_1965 & MinnieK. Most logs were signed Kapital Krunchers. We had a great weekend of lots of caching in fantastic weather. Day two was more caches around Moruya, we were joined by My Windy who was also holidaying on the coast. We started with south of the river with a walk and then down to the heads for the low tide caches. After lunch it was North of the heads and surprisingly there was enough time to finish the Bengello walk and the airport caches.
The next goal were the caches behind the airport. Lots of damage to the bush, but it was nice to see that the caches have been replaced. We did six before heading back to the cars and taking on the Bengello walk.
Thanks for the cache Youban

A weekend down the coast for our group from Canberra and this was now day 2. Most logs were signed as Capital Crunchers....
Having left the main group for a while, Smittengranny, Albida and I set out to finish this walk and grab this run of caches as well. A couple of tough little hides but all were found and we were soon on our way again.
Thanks for another one Youban....

A great group of cachers from Canberra known as the Capital Crunchers have come down to this area for a long weekend of fun and caching. This is Day 2 and we have been blessed with the weather and the multitude of incredible caches .
Sol de Lune, Albida and I left the main group for a little while to grab this cache. Boy oh boy were some of these tough going and tough to find, especially at the end of a big day. TFTC Youban SL

Find Number 2275 found at 12:59. Today we found 15 caches and had 2 DNFs. This was the 12th find today
The weather forecast was good so Tony decided to head down to Moruya try to complete the Bengello
Walk series. Any other cache would be a bonus.
Heading South from the car park I discovered the Bugs' way. This was a cute container and bodes well for the rest of the series.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log (sometimes we sign micro logs with G&T or GT) and replaced the container as found
Thanks Youban for the cache.

My final find on this series. It’s been a fun way to spend an afternoon. As others have noted, many logs are wet and soggy, so some signatures have turned into black, blue and red blobs! A favourite point here for the series. TFTC and the whole trail, Youban

Accompanied by the sounds of planes and waves, we enjoyed an hours ride, south along the "Bugs Way" trying to predict what sort of bug may be waiting for us at the next stop. Another series of imaginative hides & cache names.
Thanks Youban for creating this excellent trail.

I had to get a cache for my daily and decided to do this power trailvas it was near where we were staying! The Bugs Way caches were really cool and loved the cryptic titles! Managed to find them pretty easily excrpt the annoying part was that some spiders decided to make a wall that seemed impossible to get in! However with a handy stick the caches were found.
THIS CACHE:
This was the hardest cache to find my way in. However with some jumps and sticks I resched GZ to quickly locate the prize.

Tftc wire holding cache in place is rusted and cache was on ground, have reattached as best as possible but needs fixing
Now neither muggle hubby nor I guessed this one... clever! Lovely morning for this ride. A few aircraft landing as well for our enjoyment. TFTC Youban
Walked from the airport to broulee and found all the caches in between. It was a overcast day, beaches closed due to soot from the fires but other than that a great walk exploring this part of the world. Finding the first few from the airport side was a challenge as some caches i found on the ground, being held up by nothing than a fishing line its no wonder. The bengello walk caches were slightly different, a hide id never seen before, but very creative so once i got the hide style, i cached quite quickly with my muggle bro. A good day trip from the ACT, thanks Youban. TFTC
Staying at the Broulee caravan park for a few days so headed off on the bikes to collect some caches. TFTC
sjg66 and I headed down to do what we could do to support the local business after this summers fires have robbed them of their summer revenue. Staying at the Broulee Caravan park this series was an obvious choice so we packed the bikes. We had a pleasant morning riding the trail and calling in on a few of the beach access points. The containers are excellent as was the puzzle which we picked up the clues for. TFTC.
Signed DSD with Loci612 today. Great little series. Harder to spot than the other caches in the area.
I love discovering Geocaches, Trackable items and collecting Pathtags. I have added your cache to my growing list of “Found It” logs. I hope that you enjoy Geocaching as much as I do. For me geocaching is a way of life. When I am not Geocaching, I am thinking of Geocaching. I would like to say a very big than you for placing your geocache and for maintaining it for the Geocaching Community.
In 2019, I won the right to place a Virtual 2.0 Cache from Geocaching.com, but I have not placed it yet. I am just trying to find somewhere that is worthy of a Virtual Cache.
Here is a little information about me. I have been geocaching since 2015. At the time of finding this cache I have over 5600 finds plus 340 hides. I am the creator of the “Duck Dip” Lab Cache that won 2nd Place for the Australian Capital Territory in the State Vs State - Battle of the Lab Caches at the OzGeoMuster - The Gong Mega 2019 in Wollongong, Australia.
Now let’s talk Pathtags. Currently I have over 4600 Pathtags in my collection plus about 500 Etagz. I currently have two of my own Pathtags (45762 & 46950) with another one in the works.

After doing the trail heading North, we returned not long after to do the trail that headed South along the fence-line of the airport!
This trail was a bit more evil, and I think the hides could do with another half star of difficulty because boy do some of them blend in extremely well and are tough to spot!! Took us a while to locate a couple but managed to snag them all in the end! I think the beautiful weather helped us out as spirits were quite high.
All the hides along this trail are quite cute, and we could see a theme happening A couple logbooks were damp, but the paper used meant that they won't need replacing as you could wipe them dry without any fuss or tearing.
We were also lucky enough to see two planes landing and also two take off! Which was quite cool to see at a small airport like this, the small planes had some pretty bumpy take off's and landing in the high wind!
Thanks Youban for this trail and brilliant location and caches

Spent the day in Moruya with Bonfire7. We had a successful day outdoors, finding caches in the various trails in the area. I walked away with 60 finds and 0 DNF's! All coordinates were pretty spot on (<5m variance on average). All cache containers were well-themed and consistent, which made for a very pleasant day of caching. Thanks For The Caches Youban!!

At long last a weekend away from work, time to fish, laze about and cache. This series was on my list and today was the day. Some caches where harder than others but on the whole a very enjoyable couple of hours. Thanks Youban
Walked the trail this morning to check on things reported by recent cachers. Made adjustments where necessary and found a couple of the logs were damp. Unfortunately this has been caused by a rookie mistake of having the lids at the bottom so that moisture can seep in over time. Our thanks to those cachers who have performed temporary fixes to help maintain the trail for the enjoyment of others. Cheers Youban. Kutgw
We did all the caches with Clan Venter.
Some took longer than others.
Great caches on this lovely hike.
All found with good coordinate.
We enjoyed the series.
