Logs
A bit scary going through the long grass on such a hot day. Was expecting a danger noodle. Log was to wet to sign. Tftc
Found the way through and the cache just hanging about. Log was really wet and could do with some waterproof paper but made our mark. Was wishing I had come prepared with extra logs to fix up.A quieter morning for me was the plan, a good plan but ended up been a busy activity there anyway. After a catch up rest, off for some local caches and trails along the Bengello beach walk in the afternoon. Slow going for me but good to keep doing these things, so I pushed on! Was great to catch up with the CO for dinner with sacada. Thanks for the cache!
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC.Started the day with a long walk up Moruya River from the head lands. Lots of sand, land and water creatures. Wasn't the lowest tide, but managed to keep my shorts dry.Next I managed to find 4 caches out at Moruya heads that I couldn't find once before. Great feeling.A virtual and multi in Moruya and then finished off the long "Bugs Way" trail at the back of the Moruya airport, including the bonus cache. As an extra bonus dinner with the CO and Aquilus1.Nice quick find of the poor dead bat.
The wind died down overnight and we woke to a beautiful sunny morning with the barest of a breeze. So it was onto the bikes and out to the Bengello trail to see how far we could get. We ended up making it to the entrance at Moruya Beach with plenty of finds and a couple of DNFs. Coordinates were generally very good, and the hides well set up and in good condition. Towards the end there were some really interesting containers which we appreciated.Riding the trail was not as easy as well-formed pathways but the bush very interesting, broken up by the occasional excursion over to the beach. We made it back to camp by lunch time, both a bit worn by the ride and the rough countryside we at times had to cover to get to GZ. In the later afternoon we headed out again to find a couple of other caches close to camp.A great series we enjoyed, so we will be back in the next few days to work on those remaining.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Youban.**SKI Pair****
Accompanied by ALL7, Nice weather was partly cloudy with little showers, then a little while later, it became fully sunny, we travelled to Broulee to run a series of heaps of caches. Some drove, some walked, and some biked. Some (WOW) excellent ones are interesting, look at clever ones on the drifferent types of caches in different ways. Love it. **P.S. We can't write a wet log like soggy. CO need maintenance.** (see photo)TFTC

Coast trip day 1. After a great weekend around Moruya a few weeks ago, I had noted heaps of caches that I have not managed to visit yet. Not to mention a few DNFs that look like they might be find able now. I packed overnight stuff into the car and headed out. After one stop along the way, I reached Moruya airport for my first few walks. Hot and sunny out in the open, but nice in the shady walkways. I worked my way north along the coast. There some very dramatic coastal caches and I finished with a LAB set around Batemans bay before dinner and heading off to my camp, where I was just done eating when it started to rain. A long wet night. After failing to find this a few years ago, I was very happy to strike gold at two along here today. The themes here are fitting and the models impressive. Thanks for the cache Youban45362.2 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Mosquito A#32**Albida**
Headed down the coast for a day mainly to celebrate the Wasp Head event with The Rats and Hoojar but found plenty of caches along the way for a nice day out.TFTC!
Out for a day of caching on the South Coast with Steeba and The Rats, aiming for a few series and finishing with the 20th Anniversary Earthcache Event.Hot day for a walk, bet we will be wishing for a sea breeze by the end. Let's see howany of this series we can knock over.Cheers
Out for a days caching with steeba and Hoojar. We had a lovely day on the south coast. This was one of many we found throughout the day.TFTC
A great day out caching with Bogonghazy. Hidden. Thanks for placing the geocache enjoyed the series
Out with LittleBoss2 to do these along the airstrip. A lot of bush bashing and scratches, but worth it for the clever hides. We believe the bat? is missing, but it's just the container left
7.50am start with plans for an epic cache walk. With 30degrees forecast it was warning up quickly. The gaiters went on soon after locating this first cache.
A day of walking along the tracks between Broulee and North Moruya Heads for a whole bunch of caches. Pleasant walk through the forest and only light bush to have to walk through, some really good cool caches in this area. TFTC.
We begin our morning with this cache.
It was a long day of walking, but absolutely beautiful and brings back many memories. We used to ride bikes, here years ago.
Log signed. Was that a belfry?
Thanks Youban

While waiting for my flight to Sydney (2 hour delay) for surgery that will leave me unable to walk for months, I took advantage of this beautiful location and dusted off my GC skills. TFTC so much. You saved my sanity.
Trying to catch up with some late logs, prior to the Mega, so some travel bugs can get dropped off. Sorry for the generic log.
Found this hide while staying around the area.
Plenty of spiders and prickles around this hide. The container was also very wet.
Thanks Youban for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Bunadoorian and I thought a walk before it gets too hot was on the cards after the past two days driving. Bunadoorian found this cache first. TFTC Youban. I enjoyed the views of the water from off this track. Also watching the skydivers come to ground.
Being a warm day a short walk, mainly, in the shade was appreciated. This cache was found without too much trouble and the logbook was signed. sadly the logbook was a bit wet but our upmarket drawing stick made it no challenge. TFTC.
Find Number 2565 found at 14:05. Today we found 12 caches and 5 Lab caches. We had 0 DNF's.
Met up with GeoSon NationalSteel for the day and had a trip to Moruya. Our aim was to get some caches on George Bass Drive and around the airport before getting to the town centre.
After a quick break for lunch, we headed along the trail. After a short bush-bash I spotted the container.
The log was damp but useable, otherwise the cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log using initials GT NS and replaced the container as found
Thanks Youban for the cache.

Decided to walk from the campground and grab a few caches. This was my first find and was a nice quick find. TFTC
Today's cache and walk was walking the Bug's way trail. First one for the day, off to a good start. TFTC
Picked most of this set up a couple of years ago but missed this one. It was an easy find today. Log is damp but was able to sign anyway. Thanks.
Visiting Moruya with Aramil_au, for the geocaching. Hoping to find lots of them, so sorry for the generic log. Lovely town. Thanks for the cache.
Found all but the first back to try again. Thanks for the walk Youban. I enjoyed it. Actually they were all found by Tucker while E was catching salmon off the beach.
I decided I needed another solo geocaching holiday to detox before uni so I thought the Bengello caches (the Bengello Walk and all the other nearby series') were a great excuse for holidaying at Broulee! Bengello is a stunning area, with a great mix of lovely vegetation and awesome ocean views. The weather was hot today but super blue and lovely, and (for the most part) pretty shady! Started walking at 7am (I didn't get a good sleep) from my accommodation and got back at 3:30pm, with 55 caches to boot. Great to spend Valentine's Day spending time around my true love, geocaching!
The bug series was a lovely walk along a very unique walking track considering it's right next to the runway! After a bit of bush bashing to each one, they were found pretty quickly. Fun theme, always love something a little different! It was also fun guessing what the bug was based on the name - some I got, some not so! TFTC Youban!
I guessed the animal correctly, but didn't expect THIS!

Another of our caches to disappear on a regular basis. Someone has a liking for bats. Will have one more go before archiving. Cheers
With ACT residents no being able to travel to an area around the capital including the coast, it was time to plan a trip. There was a good sized group where we were going to base in Moruya for three days. I traveled with Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny. Others were Cosmonaut97, Kitty Katch, Joolay, Barb2e, fitzy_1965 & MinnieK. Most logs were signed Kapital Krunchers. We had a great weekend of lots of caching in fantastic weather. Day two was more caches around Moruya, we were joined by My Windy who was also holidaying on the coast. We started with south of the river with a walk and then down to the heads for the low tide caches. After lunch it was North of the heads and surprisingly there was enough time to finish the Bengello walk and the airport caches.
From the North of the airport we had four caches to find, and managed to not find two. Oh well.
Thanks.

A weekend down the coast for our group from Canberra and this was now day 2. Most logs were signed as Capital Crunchers....except this one, as there was just Aldiba, Smittengranny and myself......and we didn't find it. We did find something hanging around, however we couldn't find a log in it so guessed it wasn't the cache. Was it the cache...probably not, so we'll be back another day.
Thanks anyway Youban....
Thanks anyway Youban....
It just wasn't to be today. Cache blindness? All of us too tired? Or is it missing? Who knows. But whatever it is a disappointing way to finish this trail as we had driven to this end to go for the final 3 in this trail. Found a pen but was it the cache? No log in it after taking it apart.
Thanks anyway Youban.
Thanks anyway Youban.
Back this afternoon with full batteries in the GPS. After walking from. The southern end of the runway I started the Bug Trail from here. A nice easy find first up. TFTC, Youban

Accompanied by the sounds of planes and waves, we enjoyed an hours ride, south along the "Bugs Way" trying to predict what sort of bug may be waiting for us at the next stop. Another series of imaginative hides & cache names.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** The log of this guy is sodden, needs a fresh log please.
Thanks Youban for creating this excellent trail.

First find since moving to the area recently! Thanks to Dark Passion Play’s eagle eyes, spotted after a bit of jumpy navigation. TFTC
Ha ha ha on the hint...didnt get it till I found it. Nearly walked into the bugger as well....its almost as big as the bloody mosquitoes!! TFTC
I had to get a cache for my daily and decided to do this power trailvas it was near where we were staying! The Bugs Way caches were really cool and loved the cryptic titles! Managed to find them pretty easily excrpt the annoying part was that some spiders decided to make a wall that seemed impossible to get in! However with a handy stick the caches were found.

I had a DNF on this one but fixed on the way back. TFTC

Found after searching for some time with no idea of what we were looking for in a tricky location with so many possibilities for a micro in the bush. What’s with the “Bring a pen” hints - better off having nothing. It would certainly help to have a useful hint for the first cache on each end of the trail but after finding one the rest are much easier. The lid was mis-threaded when found so took a while to open. TFTC.
