Unfortunately this cache has been muggled lately. So hold off until word that it has been replaced.
#9591. I am up in Taranaki for the weekend to complete the TMGT geotour in this area. There are plenty of other caches to find as well and a bit of bird watching to fit in. This is the third day of my trip having made my way north through Hawera and Cape Egmont. Drove north to get the TMGT cache at Awakino and now back in the big smoke.
Love the concept of these free libraries. There have been some very creative ones made around the world. I have found caches hidden in them in Germany, Scandinavia and the Netherlands as well as here in NZ. Soon managed to spot the logbook. Signed the log and replaced the cache where found. Thanks Phronimos for hiding it here.

Loved the log book on this one. Had to wait for a muggle to select some plants and then pick a book or two.
Happy to find, thanks for hide

Excellent cache. Swapped some books. Met Carol...she is wonderful. Many thanks for the placement.
Now that was clever. I must have been looking straight at it, the saw it. Very well done. TFTC
Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
We soon had another good cache located.
*No problem, quick stop - we talked to the neighbour for a while. Like these features!*

Well well well.... this was interesting as it turns out there is also another free library on the same street
I do like these little libraries that are popping up all over the place. I managed not to take any books from this one.
Jude_E, NosyNel and I are continuing on our figure of 8 tour of the North Island collecting the ‘Tour’ caches, plus others, plus seeing the scenery, plus having a good old time. TFTC.

I am so pleased that we stopped here. I am on a North Island Figure of Eight tour. For the first 4 days I spend time in the Bay of Plenty with my husband JDScout in Rotorua. Now I am on part two of the eight loop near the end of our loop, driving from New Plymouth to Whanganui. This part is being done with my good friends Ethness and Jude_E.
Thanks Phronimos for creating this hide. It was find 9092 for me.

With a little time to waste before attending an event, why not geocache. A new one i hadnt spotted before made a nice quick find. TFTC
Love these little libraries! Deposited a book, logged a find and bought some plants! TFTC
Found with MrsC on our NZ travels from the UK, thanks. Found on a day wandering around New Plymouth. Great hide
My second of these today such lovely idea. Found with mr c on our travels from the UK thank you
It took us longer than it should have to spot this very nicely hidden cache which gets a favourite from us. TFTC
Loved it, both the cache and the library. It was interesting to read the background of these libraries on the cache page. TFTC
All good here. Plenty of room in log. You can write more than just your name and date in this logbook
Found your similar theme up the road.. Even though the second for the day I loved the concept. Another fps. Tftc this makes geocaching fun
10:24.Another little gem in this city. Found whilst the rest of the family were competing in the orienteering relay nearby. Tftc
I was so focused on the devious here that it took me a moment to notice the obvious. Great logbook. TFTC.
Nice spot found while caching with xsaveya today log and cache all good no muggles thanks for the cache
traveling with watcache to he scout jamboree in Hamilton while also getting a few caches along the way, then decided we would travel even further and go see some good friends for a few days then head to New Plymouth and enjoy the lights on there at the park thank you for putting a cache here great book selection
#11,574. No problem spotting the Free Little Library on Belt Road in Moturoa, New Plymouth. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

.What a lovely little library this is. Found the log after a bit of searching. Cheers
Day 7 - Friday 20 December. New Plymouth area today.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are spending Christmas exploring Taranaki via geocaching. Its been an amazing 3 week adventure. Rattls BBQ was a great event, meeting many other cachers. But also managed to fit in a few more events, especially New Years Day celebrating the start of 2020. Lots of caches - over 500. Lots of cache maintenance. Lots and lots of kilometers. And lots of amazing places visited along our journey. Mt Taranaki remained elusive for much of our travels and the caches on it at the top. Loved Pukekura Park Night Lights Show and the the Wooden Mechanical toy exhibition at NP Info centre.

Love these little libraries. They are starting to pop up at home in Blenheim, but so far just the one I think. In an old fridge. Gets a fav for a nicely executed cache.
Day seven of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is New Plymouth - we got here at long last! Yes, it's been a slow trip!!
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* 3 notebooks full of cache notes for later logging
* Lots of cache maintenance!

Another dot day so I picked this fairly quick cache which was hidden in a month I haven't found.
Pulling up at GZ the cache was quickly spotted and then I found the clever log book.
Cool location for a cache.

Another little library, loving these things!
Up here for an awesome weekend jaunt with TheWanglers, Karma Reprint and Team Gators to do a loop of the mountain in 48 hours grabbing as many caches as we could while having a good laugh. Logs signed as some derivative of (KT)^2
Cheers Phronimos for the cache

A planned geocaching trip to the USA was shelved (but is all go for this time next year!) so we came up with a weekends Plan B. Taranaki with TheWanglers, KarmaReprint and KiwiMoose - logs signed (TK)^2 or a variation of. A really fun trip with the forecast rain and thunder seemingly always in the distance but never hindering us. A really fun weekend.
Day 3 New Plymouth to Christchurch via a few hours in Auckland!
Brilliant thunderstorm shattering the nights sleep. But the day dawned fine. A morning caching in NP before our lunchtime flight to Auckland.
Geepers; New Plymouth is pretty flush with these wee free libraries! Another nice wee hide. Cheers.

Day three New Plymouth to Christchurch, via Auckland.
Nice thunderstorm last night. Lucky for us the day started out mostly dry! Find quickly made. Cheers
A long weekend cache raid to Taranaki. The weather didn't stop us doing anything, and we had fun times. Logs were signed with a combination of KT and 2 depending one which of did the signing. Thanks Kiwi Moose, Team_Gaters and TheWanglers for a choice time.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

A plan was hatched for a few of us to head to America for a Mad Mission. With life getting a bit crazy a downsized trip was organised as I had sorted childcare for the cachelets. The big America trip is now set for next year. We asked a member of our crew if we could go to Nelson, Dunedin, Auckland, Wellington, Hastings the answer all came back "I don't have many to find there". We left it to that member to suggest an area. He came up with New Plymouth and a loop around the mountain. That's a go from the rest of us. We sorted puzzles, gpxs, motels and a car and hit the ground running. The forecast was doom, gloom, rain, hail and lightning. Oh well, sounds exciting. We had very little of any of the weather that affected our caching and found we had all overpacked (thank God!).
Day 3: We headed out after an enormous thunderstorm last night to a lovely morning to do a few more around NP before returning the car and head to Auckland for a few hours to do the Crayola series. Our morning in NP was a bit tough due to a few DNFs. The Auckland leg was fantastic we gave the poor wee Yaris a good go cruising around the countryside. We got back to the airport in plenty of time to end up waiting for and hour or so due to the inclement weather around the country.
Another fun cache.
Thanks for the cache Phronimos.

This little library was over flowing with books, but still found the log book, going to see if I can complete the Mystery at the Museum, thanks for the cache Phronimos
was going through my cache history off line log and found that I had not log a number of cache so I sorting them out and log them hopefully the cache owners will let me get away with such a late log
Log on the computer on the 22-10-19 sign the log book on the 06-07-19 and backdate the log to that date
Took a trip up to New Plymouth with Scoria he had some business he needed to attend to here so while he attended to that I was drop off to do a bit of geocaching own my own and we would meet back up after he had finished with what he needed to do
After updating the information on my phone after I could not find the cache I was looking for I found that the cache had been disable and checking a few other it turn out that were the same and some of the had multiple did not finds against them These were cache I was planing on getting along the sea front walk way so I need to look for some new caches inland instead This cache seemed like the prefect one to go for and I was glad I did
Upon reaching the cache location and opening it up I could not see any log book in plan sight so I thought are this is one of those tricky little hides but I soon found it
Thanks for the cache

Back in New Plymouth for the afternoon and D6NZ asked if I had the library cache here as we drove past on the state highway.
A new placement since I left last year.
Quick U turn followed by a quick find.
Cheers

Have been saving this one for a rainy day and today was the day....even though it had stopped raining by the time we got here no one was keen to get their feet wet on a little walk to another cache so we still came here...found and signed the log quickly, and with no books taking my fancy we were on the road again in no time. TFTC
The first time we actually brought books to one of these little library’s and there was not one kids book to swap them out with!! My little sister cried but Mum had to remind us that we have taken without replacing before at a couple of the library’s so today’s job was to leave our kids books behind for the next kids who come along. TFTC
This is a cool spot. Cache had us fooled for a bit. But finally it revealed its self. Enjoyed this one so a fav from me. Tftc
Nicely stocked library with lovely flowers around. Thanks for the placement cache log was all in great order thanks for bringing us here
I called in here quickly after staying the night at my grandparents, after flying back to New Plymouth from Christchurch the night before and after a week of studying and geocaching in Christchurch. I wanted a park and grab to get a 7 day streak completed, let's be honest it's going to be the little moments this year in geocaching that get me through! I ended up parking right beside it and it took me a little while to sift through everything to locate the log. These little libraries are a great idea, although not so sure about the magazines that someone had left out and were absolutely soaked by the time I got there.
Passing by so stopped for a look at the latest little library and the other things on offer. SL - very well presented Phronimos - and also selected a climbing book that I hadn't read. Will return this and another book when finished. Thanks for setting up this cache.
Down in New Plymouth again for a few days. We had a walk on the waterfront this evening and decided to pick up a couple of caches. I love these little free libraries that seem to abound in New Plymouth. Great spot - TFTC
We're staying in New Plymouth for two days. Some of us go caching, others go hiking.
On the way back to the Holiday Park we stopped at this little library and looked for interesting books. As the best one had to stay there, we didn't take any. T4tc

all dot days complete for jan, thanks to this cache, is costing a little bit on travel finding these caches after work but worth it, loved the log book was well made, TFTC
Isn't this a brilliant idea!? I met my first Lilliput Library in the viilage of Aramoana (also hosting a geocache nearby), near Dunedin. This one is so nicely set up, with the plant stall too. Thanks again, Phronimos, for bringing us here.
