We continued today our tour of Queensland and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to Murilladowns01 for the generation of this nice cache Dogwood Pioneer Cemetery (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. We travelled into the outback of Queensland - towards Charlesville. We did a lot of puzzling, research and planning in the run-up to our tour. This is our first major tour into the outback. We start our tour in Toowoomba and continue via the A2 to Chinchilla to the big melon. A longer stop was made at Miles Historical Village Museum. In Roma we also visited the big bottle tree.On our 3rd day, we start our tour in Mitchell and continue to Morven. We planned a few days around Charlesville, Morven, Augathella and Cooladdi for the respective trails. We had beautiful weather - and a wonderful time in the Queensland outback. We enjoyed the breathtaking landscape with its red sand, impressive animals, starry nights and golden sunsets. We would like to thank all the owners for the great cachesTeam sissifalke

33,574. Found during our Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure - a 33 day epic tour of Northern NSW and Outback Queensland finding many caches, attending great events and catching up with awesome Cachers along the way.Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure Day 29. Today we packed up, did our best to clean out Roma (I had plenty to find as when I came through here last year I only stopped for lunch and 1 cache), then continued East to Chinchilla. We still had 5 days and lots of caches to go on this trip. This was the next one on the list. Quickly found once at GZ. Signed as F65 and A33 as required. Replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey. Thanks to all the COs who put out these caches !!

QOGM 2023 Longreach Day 29. Traveling from Roma to Chinchilla via Miles. Fitzy_1965 and Albida33 are on our trip in early spring to Longreach. The journey home is well under way and today was a morning caching around Roma before heading east to get to Chinchilla and find an area of caches we have not been to recently. There were several caches along the way and even one old one that was an interesting walk in the searing sun. We had a quiet afternoon in town recharging for the last few days to get home.We were in Miles for lunch and having had a short break, walked into this old cemetery to find this cache. Thanks for the cache Murilladowns0144566.11 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Regular Event A#220**Albida**

After a morning walk and a short search using the hint the cache was found and signed. Now to enjoy the graveyard. Sadly it has been the target of a bit of vandalism but still a lot of interesting stuff. TFTC.

15-Sep-23
bunadoorian and I came for a very early morning walk. We had found the cache, signed the log and replaced it when we got talking to some locals with their dog Pretzel! Who would have thought a cemetery would be on this lovely walkway. So sad to see how vandalism had caused so much destruction to the headstones. TFTC and for bringing us here - Murilladowns01

10-Sep-23
TFTC with Capricorn Dancer lovely walk, glad I got to this interesting location

10-Sep-23
Found with Sea Reason. More later.
Later:
I liked the blaze on the tree with the old broad arrow. There are not many left now— a lot have been overgrown.
It's also sad that the cemetery has suffered so much from the floods— many head stones are damaged, and I'm sure that some graves are lost to view.
Thanks for the cache.

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Today we headed off from Chinchilla and onto Miles, where we will stay for the night. A great opportunity to grab some around the area. Different and challenging hides.

Stopped off here and made a quick find. It was an ineresting place with so much history to explore.

Thanks Murilladowns01 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

After Karicka’s Moveable Feast Event in Roma this morning, the group has gone in different directions and I’m now in the back seat of Karicka’s very angry ute with him and Davinells up front…

We only stopped for one cache in Miles, and this was it… Karicka made the find using his years, and years, and years… and years of experience…

Thanks Murilladowns01

Travelling home from.sn adventure in Carnarvon Gorge in the hood company of Davinells and Peppa.
While Peppa was standing on the concrete path, hoping that the cache would come out of the tall grass all by itself

Certainly an out of the way location for a cemetery. We were wondering with all of the floodings whether the caskets are now water logged just like a cache container gets when it is submerged in water?
Saw the tree that bore a mark, but no inscription?
Thanks Murilladowns01.

Today was day 2 of the trip out to Charleville for QOGM. Travelling with Chamad, we made an early start in Miles and travelled all the way to Charleville; collecting caches that either of us needed along the way.

Interesting pioneer cemetery. A shame it is only accessible to those walking the distance from the road.

25-Sep-22
Day 2 of my outback travels and the start of my Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster trip for 2022. While Triple Turmoil and I headed out to meet up with the others, it gave us time to grab a few caches along the way. We were aiming to be at the campsite at a reasonable hour so as we could set up in the daylight and see what is around at camp. This was all in readiness for our continuation from last year’s event and a very successful team collaboration with Willis007 and Jacs Team.
Today was a drive from Miles to Charleville, grabbing caches and adventure labs along the way. It was a fun day and we found all caches fairly easily. We signed the logs and replaced caches as found. Thanks for the hides and maintaining them

the hint helped here.

25-Sep-22
On our way toQOGM22, stopping for an overnight in Miles. Ready for a walk after drive from Miles, surprised to see we had not stopped here previously for caching

AT GX. "I said it was nice seeing people night if that is i've been sold away i hate of this cute as you said santa sign the wog didn't even bother to change the date"

Now for the translation. What a beautiful spot to be buried. So peaceful. As we found the cache I realised I was being lifted to the heavens by a million humungious mosquitos. In such a hurry to sign the log, did not even bother to change the date on our stamp.

So much for dictating into the microphone/

Thanks Murilladowns01 for the hide.

It took me a little while to find my way in to this GZ. Then despite the tree looking me straight in the face it took longer to recognise it for what it was. Once over that it was a good find and the log now bears my name. TFTC in this fascinating historical place Murilladowns01.

It has been a long long time since we have been geocaching. We came to look at the cemetery and Mr Parko thought why not check to see if there were any caches in the area. Found quickly, signed log and returned as found. Thanks Murilladowns01 Smile

Heading out to Carnarvon for a few days R&R and smelling the roses in the National Park. Only needed to make Roma tonight so decided to start caching at Chinchilla.

Miles was the next target and the couple of caches along this creek allowed me to stretch my legs.

Make sure you smell the caching ??s, it is not just another number.

We loved this serene site and the cute hide. Thanks for the cache, giving it a FP

02-Jul-21
Looking for something to fill in time whilst not studying, it was suggested that I finally get around to logging THOSE caches long found but never logged. Some even have funny stories of being visited not only once or twice, but a few even have had a third or fourth visit before realising I've been there done that. The date is as near to the correct day the cache was found. So sorry for the generic and late log.JABs.

Camping at the showgrounds in Miles, this cache was a short walk away. It was found quickly and easily at this vary interesting cemetery. You have to admire the pioneers.

22-Apr-21
Hi there Murilladowns01.

We found your cache **"Dogwood Pioneer Cemetery"** today.

We came to Miles as a stopping point on our way to Blackall, but as there are so many caches we've decided to stay for a few more days. Today we diverted to pick up the caches between Condamine & Miles. We found 7 caches & DNF'd 0.

Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache almost exactly where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** Cache needed some maintenance, so we made the repair and restored the cache.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny
